Varian
Varian tugged ar the strings of his hoodie. He preferred them to be the same length, he thought they look better. Sliding on a pair of hiking boots Varian got ready to leave.

As a person he still had no idea how she act or who he should be. But then again he was settling into being whoever he was. Varian opened the door and slipped down the stairs quietly, it was very early in the morning.

The streets had a quiet business to them, there weren’t a lot of people. But everyone out in the streets was getting to work in opening their business and such. Varian payed no attention and just walked towards his final goal, the park.
Once inside he’d choose a path that was choked with ivy and other fauna. He’d begin to walk down this path, enjoying its solidarity. Finally after tiring of walking Varian chose a single bench to sit down on. It was clearly abandoned and overgrown like the rest of the path. But even it still had some use. It’s wood almost looked like if you sat on it. It’d be to rotten to sit on. But Varian sat down anyway.

"Have you seen this cat?" Kazuki showed a picture of a kitten to various women throughout the Park. What they didn't know is that the cat wasn't his, but rather a young girls he had been tasked with finding. He bucked at the chance, though, as he figured women would eat that sort of thing up--though he would never admit it unless openly asked.

That, and well, he couldn't say no to a little girl could he? And so, here he was, a guild wizard looking for a kitten in the park for free. If anything, he supposed, it was good publicity for Fairy Tail: guild wizards willing to help the children of the town.

The search wasn't fruitful, though, in either the kitten or a date, and so the Wizard found himself giving a heavy sigh as he approached a bench with a single occupant. Kazuki wasn't one for personal space, seeing as to how his small village was basically one big family in how they operated. Physical contact was simply accepted and used to show trust, affection, and kinship--and those were points he carried with him even now. Of course, he understood now that people weren't as open with it as he was so when asked to stop or not do such a thing he would comply gracefully. After all, he wasn't out to offend anyone or make anyone uncomfortable.

Sitting on the bench, he placed his arm across the back and sighed again, turning to the man sitting next to him before raising the picture of the kitten. "Seen this cat? Girl asked me to find him for her, and a guy can't say no to that can he?"

Varian
Varian was day dreamng when someone sat down next to him and asked about a cat. "I'm sorry, but I haven't, honestly I haven't see anything feline related." Varian said. And that was true. He had a picture of what a cat looked like but he had never actually seen one. Looking around he stood up and faced the man on the bench, "I might not know where he is but I'd be glad to help." Varian said with a smile. Varian would smile at the man, "Why are you looking for a cat?"
 He asked. Varian shuffled his feet, deciding which way he wanted to head towards when and if they began to start walking.

There was to his left, the way he came. The right continued on with the overgrown path and there was always the option of no path. Sidewalk or not, Varian just wanted to do something. Even if he had no memory, he'd be glad to turn himself into a new person, a good new person. Varian shoved his hands in his pockets, awaiting for some kind of answer from the stranger.

Kazuki followed the man's movements as he stood, having let the arm with the picture rest back on his lap. When he spoke of helping, Kazuki shrugged. "I only have the one picture...but four eyes are better than two I do believe." He stood as well.

His left hand, free of his gloves, ran through his golden locks. Upon the back of the hand was his guild tattoo, orange in color. "Ah, a little girl seen my tattoo and stopped me. Said she needed a guild wizard to help her find her kitten that had run away. Offered to pay me in candy." He let out a laugh. "I'm not one for sweets, and I'd never take candy from a kid." He shrugged slightly. "Told her I'd do it pro-bono, but she couldn't tell anyone because we can't work for free." He leaned in, as if whispering a secret as he shielded his mouth from view. "You can't tell anyone either, I could get in big trouble. Just trying to help a kid."

Leaning back he rubbed his neck. "Besides, if it was my cat I'd want someone to look." A simple statement. As he looked the guy over, sizing him up, he was trying to figure out if he himself was a wizard or just a member of Magnolia's upstanding citizenship. As if on cue, though, Kazuki felt a brush against his boots, looking down to spot a kitten rubbing against the hide boots. He blinked before grinning widely and picking it up, as the picture and the kitten were one in the same. He looked to the man.

"You've gotta be some kinda lucky charm." He offered his free hand, after having tucked the picture away. "Kazuki Kobayashi, Fairy Tail Wizard. I'd add extraordinaire, but I'm still kinda new."

As soon as varian proposed searching for the kitten in magically showed up. Varian raised an eye brow but paid no attention. The stranger happened to be a member of Fairy tail, dictated by the symbol on his hand. He seemed like one of those friendly folk, Varian had learnt about the kindness and friendliness of their guild. "well would you look at that." Varian said. The man was named Kazuki Kobayashi, a member of fairy tail wizard. He made some comment about wanting to add the extraordinaire in there, but he wanted to be stronger. "Varian Chevalier at your service." Varian said with a sarcastic little bow. "It was quite nice of you to go looking for something without getting paid. You seem like a great person." Varian said. His words were true Kazuki seemed like a person who would gladly stop an oncoming boulder for their friend. "It seemes nice to be in a guild like that, I don't remember much of my own family, and from what I've heard Fairy tail is kinda like that." Varian said. And is heart of hearts he'd like to join the guild but he'd never say it out loud.

Kazuki motioned for the man to follow as he walked the kitten back to the owner."Varian, eh? That's a unique name." He nodded at his own statement. "But I guess it goes to show Fiore is a big place, with a lot of different cultures. And it's experiencing those cultures that helps us grow, gives us wisdom and patience, but most of import: Understanding." One couldn't be sure if he was parroting this philosophy or if it was his own, but deep down Kazuki believed it. After all, his mission was to travel and just coming to Magnolia he had seen a large shift in the conventions that his own small village practiced. It was like that in Fairy Tail, too, people from all perspectives, walks of life, beliefs, working towards a common goal. Uniting under a single banner to work for the good of all, and he supposed the family atmosphere as well as their philosophy is what drew him in.

"Let's not mention the without being paid part!" A laugh given. Reaching the young girl he handed her the kitten and her face instantly lit up, thanking the mage for bringing her 'Mr. Freckles' before skittering off into her house, kitten in her tiny hands.

He heard Varian's words and he felt kind of bad. All of his family was still alive and well, and he wrote to them weekly. Beyond that his entire village was his family, he knew everyone by name their likes, dislikes...and they him. Hell, he had joined the guild at first seeking a cure from his loneliness, his understanding of it's policies and ways only furthering the fact that he believed it to be a good decision. Finally, he turned to the young man and put his hands on his hips. "Well, why not follow me to the guild hall? See if it's for you? So long as you're a Wizard, we aren't exactly exclusive. We got rules, sure, but so long as you don't break them we don't exactly turn anyone away. Especially those who are looking for a place to belong."

He reached out to clasp Varian on the shoulder. "Isn't that what everyone's looking for? A place to call home? To fit in?" His face held his customary grin, eyes full of mirth.

Kazuki invited Carian on a trip to the guild hall, a sort of “see if you like us” kind of gesture before joining. Obviously Varian wanted to join so he’d follow kazuki to the guild hall.

He was excited like some kind of nervous child. But he placed a firm hand on his jitteriness and settled down quickly and took deep breaths, he didn’t want to possibly Thow up when meeting his new guild. Kazuki continued to show his happy go lucky attitude which brought the spirits of everyone around him up, it seemed like his specialty. Varian did happen to be a wizard, that he knew. When he woke up he had magic, but immediately after he touched a page in the white leather book it shocked him and from them on his magic had been pretty iffy and had caused him a massive amount of problems. So for the short time without magic Varian would just search for some new one in the white leather book he had. He had no idea what it was for but he was continuously learning new things that he didn’t before. He peered up ahead to look at kazuki, he wondered how far away they were from the guild.

Reaching the guild hall, the young man opened both doors revealing the boisterous hall within, cheers erupting from the crowd despite not even really knowing him--he wasn't exactly a powerful member, he was pretty bottom of the barrel. The cheers turned into laughs, as obviously this was some sort of thing they did for everyone who came in and Kazuki merely waved them off. This was Fairy Tail: goofy, but family.

"Don't mind the noise" he near shouted, "I'd say it isn't always like this, but...it is!" A laugh given as he moved to wrap his arm around Varian, leaning on him if the mage would allow, his other arm going to point things out.

"Over there we have the job board, where we go to get contracts to make money. Guys gotta eat, right? And there we have the bar. They whip up some good food, and the prices aren't bad at all. Hell, most of the time it's customary to over pay, it helps in case one of us can't afford a tab for whatever reason. We're family, so, gotta take care of our own." He moved his hand, and continued speaking as he pointed to the stairs, "Second floor is for the higher ranking requests. I'd stay away, but looking doesn't hurt. Just don't take any of them unless you're packing some serious fire power." He continued moving his hand, pointing to a door, "Leads to the training yard for spars or just general honing yours skills."

He was interrupted by a new round of shouts as it seemed a brawl broke out, though there wasn't malicious intent it would seem. One member had another member in a headlock, both laughing, and those around them cheering them on as if some sort game. Kazuki looked back to Varian with a large grin. "We're a bit over the top, but we're good people. So, whatcha think? Wanna be a fairy?" A laugh given at the small joke. "Can't promise you'll get wings, but anything is possible. Magic, and all that."

Kazuki Introduced Varian around the guild hall. He talked about the higher ranked quests on the second floor. He wondered how high of a rank they were. Varian thought of himself as a semi-strong mage who was proficient at what he did. Varian took in a deep breath as he looked around the area. Then Kazuki hit him with the question that he was waiting for, do you wanna become a fairy? Varian was a little too awed by what had happened. "Uhm. Yeah I'd love to." Varian said.

Syliph smiled and enjoyed looking at his new guild. It was nice to be here. He looked at Kazuki"Wow, thanks to for bringing me here." Varian said. Varian would smile and accept the tattoo and then look at Kazuki, "Thanks for everything Kazuki,
I hope we can do something together again,
but if you don't mind im gonna go explore my new guild. But thanks for introducing me into this guild." Varian smiled at kazuki then began to walk around the guild, just quietly enjyoing his new home. He had no idea who he was, but now he did know who he wanted to be.

After having shown Varian around, he noted that the young man seemed to be in a stupor. He supposed it was a lot to take in--if anything, is own joining had been completely the opposite. He had no idea what he was experiencing, no idea the importance. It wasn't until he had spent many months here that it dawned on him: he had found another family. Hindsight is always twenty-twenty they say, and he wished he could go back and re-do it. He was glad the guy had the mind to take it all in. Another grin was flashed as he left the man to go wander. He himself went to the bar, moving around and rummaging behind. This gained him a inquisitive look from the barmaid. He returned the look with with yet another grin and wink.

Without missing a beat the barmaid rolled her eyes and wiped Kazuki's face with the bar rag.

Leaning back, after having secured the stamp used for new members, Kazuki merely shrugged and wiped his face off. Hey, sometimes ya had to lose a battle to win the war, right? Turning back he saw that the young man had wandered off, having missed his words.

"H-hey, ya need to be stamped first you new-b!" He waved after Varian as he moved throughout the hall.
