From the day he was born, Voctor had been showered with happiness and wealth beyond the need of a baby. He had never known what sadness or disappointment is sine neither his father nor his mother ever avoided him. They spoiled him at every chance they got and paraded him around as the next Vanderbilt family successor. It wasn’t until Victor could reason and realize things that he noticed their family had someone else, someone that no one ever talked about and someone that he never got to meet for more than one minute. He first developed a likeness towards Evangeline when he saw her using her magic. He didn’t know if it was the powerful air of brilliance around her or the sheer beauty of her art, Victor developed a deep crush towards Eva. A few years later, Victor really learned the truth. The girl he had met and felt a connection towards was none except his own sister that the whole family ignored and shunned just because she was born to the previous wife of his father. It was a love marriage from what he heard that went wrong after having their first child. Victor, confused and distraught, for a while, started traveling around, bringing his butlers and maids along just to appease his parents. When he learned that his sister had joined the Rune Knights, he was happier. They never talked much, but just her presence around him had been enough for Victor to grow as a person.
