Ayeseru Kitamaru

Personal

Name: Ayeseru Kitamaru

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Class: Trickster

Rank: D-rank

Guild: Phantom Lord

Tattoo: Dark red, left palm.

Face: Taroutachi - Touken Ranbu

Appearance

Height: 6'5

Weight: 225 lbs.

Hair: Black

Eyes: Golden/Honey-yellow

Overall: Ayeseru is a lean man; he is absurdly tall and carries himself properly.  He has extremely long, black hair which is tied in a ponytail and has two sidelocks.  He also has a strange, red markings around his eyes.  He wears what an attire that looks suitable for rich men of an Eastern country with a single shoulder piece of armour on his left shoulder.  The said attire has a strange gate-like symbol on it with a swan.

He wears a single, long black glove on his left hand which has a black armlet with gold pattering on it.  He also wears white tabi, with golden sandals.

Extra: None that come to mind.

Personality

Personality:

Ayeseru isn't a man of too many words.  He doesn't feel like it's necessary for him to speak, really.  Because he doesn't speak much, people are generally intimidated by his height; he towers above most people, which means he doesn't really have anyone he could consider a companion, friend, or comrade.  He doesn't mind that too terribly much, however, because even if he did have any of those, it would take an enormous amount to get him to even remotely trust them; Ayeseru doesn't trust anyone, barely himself.

He has his own sense of justice, which is why many people find it strange that he's in Phantom Lord, but it just so happens that he can use that "justice" to its fullest extent in that guild.  He can silence those whom he deems it necessary to.  Speaking of silence, albeit a different type, Ayeseru tends to enjoy it.  If he's alone, one could often times find him meditating, thinking to himself, or on occasion, playing the violin, which he is fond of.

Although he claims it to be justice, and, that is it, for the most part, he does secretly enjoy the killing.  When all your memories are filled with you killing others for the first twenty years, it's difficult to then resist that as a part of you and not enjoy it after some time; it can work as a form of stress relief, too.  These urges aren't that big, though Ayeseru is aware of them; he can only dread what would happen if he kills a large amount of people in a short time span.

He feels as though it's his purpose - being a vigilante, but...  What happens if you succumb to the dark desires?

Likes:

  • Being alone: Ayeseru doesn't trust anyone, so it's not big surprise he'd like to be alone, with him being the only person be barely trusts.
  • The smell of an area that has been freshly rained: He can't describe it, but there's an amazing smell to the environment around him after it rains that he absolutely loves.

Dislikes:

  • Liars: Boy, this one is bound to get him in a lot of problems in Phantom Lord.  Ever since his experience with the Nameless Man, he has come to grow a particular dislike towards liars.
  • His own likes towards killing: Ayeseru wishes he never had to go through what he did as a young boy up to a young man.  While he can speak about it openly and has accepted it as a part of him, that doesn't mean he likes that fact.

Motivations:

  • Finding true purpose: Ayeseru has one current goal - eliminate anyone he deems necessary.  His code is strange, but he'll stick to it.  Yet, there will come a time where he will be unable to do this...  so, what will he do then?  That's what he wants to know, too.

Fears:

  • Succumbing to dark desires: Simply put, Ayeseru doesn't want to become a mindless killing machine like he was once who took enjoyment from killing.  He still does, but it's nowhere to the same degree as it both used to be and he fears it to be.
  • The dark: He can never forget how many years he spent locked in a cell with no light, no exit, no anything.  Pure, pitch black.  He's not afraid of being alone at night, but he IS afraid of complete darkness.

Magic

Magic Name: Kirin

Magic Element: Lightning

Magic Description:

Ayeseru didn't name his magic, it's what people called it after witnessing him use it; this is because while he's in combat, lightning will constantly flicker on his body, though without direction from Ayeseru, it has no purpose and is just...  There.

But, when it's focused into something, it becomes a very formidable force to reckon with, just like any lightning-based magic.  He is capable of using it for a myriad of things - zip around the battlefield to catch his opponents off guard or out-run them, send devastating lightning attacks in a direction, supercharge his muscles, and more.

It is by no means "just lightning magic", however, because Ayeseru can and will get creative with it, giving it an unpredictable aspect. Aesthetically, the lightning is dark blue.

History

History:

The weak will stay weak and the strong will survive.  That's what Ayeseru has known since his early years of life; it was proven to him, too.  His weak village had been raided, most villagers killed as it was set ablaze.  The few that survived were sold into different types of slavery, and it just so happened that not only did Ayeseru survive, but he was to fight in the pits for his master...  to the death.

He was a young child, barely ten years old; his first battle was up against a very experienced teenager - bets were heavily put against him; this person had been known as the previous "Sword King", yet, from his very first battle...  The true Sword King had emerged victorious; Ayeseru had won his very first battle in the underground.

Everyone was surprised, but pleasantly so, even those whom had bet against him - there was a new monster for them to gain profit from.  Yet, it was because he was a monster that none had desire to be affiliated with him for all too long.  The living conditions of these warriors were terrible, and Ayeseru was no exception to this; he often times rebelled against his masters, heavily injuring some on multiple occasions while others he himself was heavily injured.

Just as it appeared that no one wanted him anymore and he was to be executed, a man showed up and bought him.  He never introduced himself, claiming himself to be the "Nameless Man".  The Nameless Man was very different than the other masters had been towards Ayeseru - far kinder, giving him an actual room to sleep in and decent clothes (he always had great food; the masters wanted Ayeseru to be well fed so he could kill anyone he was set up against).  He even showed concern after every one of Ayeseru's matches.

That was enough for him.  While he still had to fight in the pits, he felt like he wasn't truly alone in the world anymore, fighting desperately for survival.  Now, he felt as though he was fighting for someone, and he so, his performance also increased.  Years had gone by and Ayeseru was now in his early twenties; with every victory facing stronger, better opponents.

...The Nameless Man was not everything he made himself out to be, however.  He was incredibly wealthy, most of that wealth coming from "dirty work"; an assassin was sent for him.  Normally, the Nameless Man would come with Ayeseru to the pits to watch him fight and cheer him on, though he was sick that day, so Ayeseru left alone.

When Ayeseru would emerge victorious, as he normally did, and head back to his home, he found the Nameless Man laying on the floor, bleeding profusely, and another man with a sword pointed at him.  He didn't even think about it; rage took over Ayeseru and in a mere instant, closed the gap between him and the assassin and backstabbed him in a single, swift strike.  The man coughed up blood and his life had quickly faded.

He rushed towards the Nameless Man, "Sir!  Sir!  Are you...  Sir!  What can I do for you?!  How can I save you?!?!"  Ayeseru was panicking; he didn't realize that he had ever cared for someone as much as he did the Namless Man until then.  He had never cried, but tears were welling in his eyes.  "There is nothing you can do for me, Ayeseru...  I will soon die."  He was holding his tears back as best as he could, but it was difficult.

"Come, come...  Come...  Closer...  There is something I must tell you...  Before I depart from this world..." his breathing was heavy and unsteady; he didn't have much time left.  Ayeseru moved his head forward, awaiting his final words.  Ayeseru couldn't see it, but the Nameless Man now had a very menacing smile.  "Do you...  Remember how you fell into this trade?  Where all that matters is fighting?"

Ayeseru was mildly confused, but didn't think about it too much at the time.  "Well, yes...  My village was raided by a group of people.  It was burnt to the ground and they killed most of the villagers.  The few that survived were sold into various different slave trades..."  He didn't mind speaking about that past; it was a part of him he learned to accept.

"Yes, well...  I remember you telling me that in the past, too...  And I know who was behind it..."  Ayeseru's eyes lit up; he barely had any recollection of his family, but he knew that he loved them.  That was enough of a reason for him to want to get revenge.  "The one behind it..." Ayeseru shifted his head next to his mouth so he wouldn't miss a single word of it, "...me."

He felt his arms weaken to nothing, his vision blurry, and he wanted to vomit; there was no way this was the truth, right?  Before he could say anything, the Nameless Man continued.  "I sent my men to go there and kill everyone.  I watched it all.  The blood, the fires, the screams...  It was...  Excellent..." with what little energy he had left, he began laughing in a maniac-like way.  "And I don't regret a single moment of it!  After all, I was blessed with the monster that is YOU!"

He didn't know what to do.  He wanted to convince himself that he was just having a nightmare, but...  He knew it was reality.  "I only bought you because of how much pleasure you brought me in seeing you cut down your foes!  Their disembodied limbs...  I...  LOVE IT!"  The Nameless Man coughed up blood, but it was obvious he didn't care - he was dying, anyways.  "And I made sure you felt like you had something to fight for...  To make you even stronger.  But, you were getting contempt.  There would be a point where your limitless potential would cease to increase, but I think I've found the solution to that...  Don't you agree?"

It was at this point where he couldn't hold back his tears any longer; they would flow freely, but he would make no noise, nor any attempt to kill the Nameless Man himself.  "Now that you realize...  Go...  My GREATEST creation!  Go...  Go spread your havoc...  Go...  KILL.  THEM.  ALL!"  And then, he stopped.  He was gurgling on his blood, and finally, Ayeseru caught a glimpse of his ugly, bloodied, smiling face with his eyes wide open.  His life had faded with that insane look on his face.

He had remained in the same place for several hours, contemplating exactly what he should do with himself, but he had decided - wander the land, and kill people.  However, not just for sport; he was a vigilante.  He found some fancy garb and pieces of armour to replace his bloodied clothing with.  He grabbed a hold of the sword on the wall - the Nameless Man's most prized possession.  It was a katana the size of an odachi and with it, cut down the unsuspecting guards at the front gate to escape and begin his life anew.

Several years later, to he found himself in Fiore.  He had stood true to his ways; ended up with him killing several nobles and politicians whom he deemed as targets that required elimination...  unfortunately, their "true" ways weren't revealed to the council, and thus, they deemed him a dark mage.  He decided that if he couldn't join them...  He'd beat them.  And thus, he went to the only guild where he felt like he could fulfill his goals and even gain support for it - Phantom Lord.  He had heard it was a guild where strength is what mattered, and there was actually a mandatory to eliminate a target once a month...  perfect.

He would ignore their own evil ways till he felt strong enough to take them on, himself.  Until then, he would dispense his own form of justice wherever he went...

And that's where his story begins.

Hello, holder magics no longer exist as an option. Please use another magic. You'll be able to later on purchase a katana if you wish to use one and master in its style.

It's a real big shame, too. Was really looking forward to using sword-based magic.

Well, either way, I changed it to be something more suitable to this site, so I hope this works :)
