Even though he mostly looks Fiorian. His body looks to be average. Not too strong/fat/weak/thin. Just average. His hair is short with an almost wild look that appears to be naturally controlled (organized chaos). His eyes have a natural calculating look, even though he himself may not be thinking about anything. A knowing smile is always tugging at the corner of his lips unless he’s obviously displeased, which gives others the impression he knows more than he should. More often than not he wears short sleeved shirts that are either red or dark blue in color, and a pair of black jeans. A leather belt around his waist, and some sturdy shoes. In cooler weather he wears a leather jacket lined with wool to keep out the cold. Extra: A birthmark on his right shoulder nearly hidden by the guild tattoo. Personality Personality: Most of the time Chris is pretty laid back. He doesn’t take the initiative in most projects, but he’s more than willing to help once it’s started. He likes to support others, though on rare occasions he takes a step forward if it means he can help a situation. He doesn’t have any hobbies, though he does dabble in anything and everything that strikes his fancy. This includes four instruments (drums, flute, guitar, and piano), whittling, gardening, construction, painting, writing, and many more. All at just slightly higher than beginner level. The only exception to this is cooking, which he’s very skilled in. Growing up in his household he was in charge of cooking, and as a result he began to become interested in various dishes found in the world. He can never replicate any of them, but with his own style the food he makes is almost always delicious. If he has to fight then he will, but if he does then his attitude completely changes. Diplomacy is usually his go to as the first option, but even he can tell when words won’t work. When that happens his usually knowing smile turns into a frown, and his eyes gain a more calculating appearance. In a group he’s usually in the back providing support with his defensive spells. However if he’s alone he uses those spells to buy time while he calculates the best method to proceed. He never takes the lead, but he does provide insight with what he observes. Likes:

By infusing the area around them with their mana they can manipulate the airflow in various ways. Unlike other wind manipulators who can generate their own wind using their mana; these use existing air to accomplish their effects. History History: Chris grew up in a relatively normal childhood with two working adults as parents. His mother was a well known trader, a trait she got from her mother who was from the country of Sin. Often times she’d be away from home for weeks at a time, as soon as Chris was old enough to be off her apron strings. It wasn’t that she didn’t love her child; it’s just that she grew up as a trader and it helped provide for the family. His father is a shop owner, and it was the main reason his parents married. He specializes in unique artifacts from all over the world, and she was one of his biggest customers. After a particularly lucrative deal on both their parts they went out to dinner to celebrate, and the rest is history. Because both of his parents are off working most of his life Chris grew up to be self-sufficient and independent at a young age. He’d take care of the house, cook meals for his exhausted father, and in his free time away from school wander the forest behind his house. To him this was his normal life, so he never understood why people pitied him for not having parents around. He had friends at school and saw his father every night. He was not lonely. It was during one of his many ventures into the forest that he came upon a small clearing he had never seen before on his 16th birthday. In this clearing he saw a pair of foxes cornering a small creature against a tree stump in the center. Having grown up going into the forest many times in his life Chris was well aware of the rule ‘survival of the fittest’. But sometimes rules can be bent. Taking up a stick nearby he charged into the clearing with a cry that startled the foxes temporarily. While they were flinching away from his cry he brought the stick down and struck the ground in front of the fox closest to him. This caused the creature to leap back instinctually. Doing the same to the second Chris put some distance between them and whatever they were cornering. After making sure they were far enough away Chris pulled out some dried jerky he carried for an afternoon snack and tossed a piece to each of the foxes. They sniffed the dried meat and grabbed them in their mouths before Chris again struck the ground causing them to run. He was aware of the rule of the forest, so he didn’t want to cause harm if he could help it. But he was ready to give them a whack on the nose if he had to. The creature he ended up saving was a fairy disguised as a small songbird that had a broken wing. After nursing said bird back to health the fairy revealed itself to Chris, and taught over time whenever he visited the sacred magic of Spirit Slayer. It was a slow process, as part of the learning was to only use force when absolutely necessary. This was taught to Chris through various trials that he honestly felt were more for the fairy’s entertainment than actual lessons. And thus a pact was formed between them. When it became known that Chris had a talent for magic his parents both encouraged him to join a guild in order to expand his knowledge and earn some jewel. Neither of his parents were magically adept, even though both had fantasies of being mages in their youth. When Chris hesitated his father took him to the side and whispered it would be a good chance to earn money, prestige, and status to impress a girl and get married. That was enough to convince Chris, and he ventured forth to join Blue Pegasus. It was a guild that seemed to be much safer that one like Fairy Tail, despite where he learned his magic from.
