Cailyn coughed as she bled from her mouth, blade wounds across her body. She was dying. The men standing around her waited a long time for this, coming all the way from her home just to put an end to her. Was she really the abomination they thought of her as? She thought she could escape, come to Fiore and start a life. She had done what she could with what little she had, but in the end nothing was enough. The men were close to death, but she would be the one ascending or descending tonight. She could only hope that one day her sister would awaken from her coma with the friends she made around her, but more than that, she hoped that her sister would awaken and obliterate those who had done this to Cailyn. The half-vampire fell to her knees. Her robe destroyed, he Katana shattered. Yet she would not allow her enemies the satisfaction of having her head. Cailyn fell to the ground with a smile on her face and with her last bit of mana she activated a spell, opening the ground and allowing it to consume her. She was no longer of the living, and her body would finally return to the Earth. The blood poured out of her and she fell with the slices across her chest.
