Emil again picks up a mission in the north that is to deal with rats and this time around it is just him and his water magic using attendant Fina, Emil is excited to use the new gauntlet that a strange man had offered him and he swiftly bought so that he could have it and hold it as it called to him as if it is a new step forward that is begging him to take the dive into the strange future that seemed to be unfolding in front of him as he attempted to keep all his thoughts inside of his head from going crazy and sending him into an excited frenzy. Fina watches over him and she will keep him healed and protected the best she can as Holly had asked her to make sure he doesn't get into more trouble than he needed too and she wasn't sure if she was the right one for that mission.

The client meets them and gives them a run down of the place and shows Emil the blue prints and runs over the ideas for where the best places to enter are. Emil is still looking at this new toy he has and he wonders how well it will do in this new place and he figures that it will make sure that this fight is one to remember and he is gonna take it on in stride even if it is still a learning experience to use it to it's fullest. Fina was at least paying attention and she would fill Emil in later as they go and she hoped that she could convince him that this was the best for them all if she lead and made sure that he stayed out of trouble on this one. She had a sinking feeling but she was going to make sure to pump the water out as the sunk if that started happening.

They walk up to the building that they were about to have to walk into and Emil hits his fists together and his body is covered in a dark lightening cloak so that he is harder to stop or disable and Fina buffs him and Emil runs in and he starts busting his fists into the rats. Fina is doing her best to be the support she was not made to be and she lets loose her own attacks and she does what she can to try and keep Emil safe and sound. He was not making it easy as he rams through the rats and the crowd of rats are ignoring her and laser focusing on Emil as he is war screaming and doing what he can and over throwing the rat over lords as that struggle to try and keep him pinned down and not have them get destroyed too fast by his hand.

The rats seemed smarter this time around and they seem to be trying to figure out how they can handle him but they can't seem to figure out if he had lost his mind or if they were just spinning their wheels when they tried to go after him and think maybe the target should be the woman that is having trouble keeping up with the six foot man that is battle crazed. Emil hits his palms together and then punches the ground and their rat forces feel the gilded black lightning that came up from the ground and they start to fall back and regroup and hope that they can do something about it but they know that this is a losing battle that they are fighting here. They are unsure how to even stop him as he seemed to just punch and tear through them like they are wet paper and that is not gonna be good for the troops moral as they see their friends and families die as they are stepped on and over as he is nearly unstoppable.

Emil raises his new gauntlet to the air and all of the rats around Emil scream in pain and start acting out of sorts as if they had all been hit with some kind of invisible force and they lost contact with the rats that were within 15 meters of Emil and this worries the rat king that is starting to call all of the others back to his side to help and defend him as this was gonna be one big issue if he the leader of this clan of rats was harmed in such a manner he doesn't know what Emil had done but he couldn't risk it being a thing that happened directly to him as he has a ton of other groups of rats around the building that he needs to command to come and end this battle before his death is promised to him. The next group of rats take over the empty space that the other rats that Emil had disabled and killed had left as they keep trying to get past him and to the woman behind him which he is not allowing to happen as he knows their game.

Fina has Emil take a small break and she cleans the blood off of him even through none of it is his own blood. She is still scolding him for acting so much like a child at an amusement park instead of a life and death fight to clear out the place from the blood thirsty rats that have come to call this place home. She talks to him about the areas they need to clear out next and how much of a pain in the butt they are probably gonna be but Emil isn't really paying attention he is more excited to get back to fighting and he was not gonna take more time then they really needed to, to rest up before going back out into the battle field and take on the animals that just seemed to be looking down on him. Emil reapplied his defensive buff ready to get back to it.

Fina sighs knowing she had fully failed to get through to him and she follows behind him and she wonders if this is just gonna end badly and just come back to bite her in the ass in the end. She knows she can't linger on it as she is gonna get left behind if she doesn't keep an eye on Emil as he rages and crushes the rats that dared to cross him as he gets into the back area close to the stairs that lead down into the depths of the underground where the leader of the rats will be and he knows that he needs to get the top of the mountain which is the bottom of those stairs and to the giant ugly looking beast that might just get popped in one punch and he will just keep on his way and lock them out. He starts making his way down the stairs as he punches and jabs the rats that try to get their grabby clawed hands on him as he keeps going.

Fina makes it rain on the rats and Emil throws out lightning spells as the rats scream as if they are begging for mercy but it was already too late for them to really beg. Emil starts making sure that they are dead and not going to jump back up to alive and attack from behind, he crushes them under foot and he really doesn't waste a moment to care about what he was doing or why he was doing it as he was gonna be a god one day and his brother will have to look up to him for once and not just be so good at everything and making his older brother look like crap compared side by side to him and the only thing that Kaito was losing to him in was his love life as Emil had already got a family that he can love and take care of.

They walk up to the boss who looks like he is wetting himself in fear of them but that will not make them back down as they need these rats gone now. They are gonna get this done and the money laid into their arms as they need to keep their eyes on the prize and not on the past as the thing they need lies in the future for them as they are in need of a swift kick in the ass to get the projects they are working on to get off of the ground and he was not gonna rest until he made his friends dreams come true and to change the world as they can and it was a rough thing to swallow that he is so small compared to his brother. He was jealous and he uses that feeling to make his strikes on the beast hit true. The rats start falling back as the leader falls and Emil closes the way in and he walks out with Fina and report to the man that hired them.
