It was always fun to branch out and meet some one else. Some one actually not too far away, This guild had a large building but there was always some one exploring at least, the curious one who walks with in the dark seems to think. It was time to not be lazy and talk to some one new, for the fun of it all sometimes was just seeing how other people were.
Beside her just sole best friend who she knew was in the guild, Akuko had not really met too many other people, Well there was Odin. Not to forget that. More ponder what the other people were like, So it was now time to find the other people and just see what happens. The normal way of living of for Akuko.
Just a good question to herself was, Who was here? Where are they? and just how friendly would they be? Guess it was time to explore. As well as make it as obnoxious as possible, only until really some one might have came out to talk to her. Akuko did like to just be that way from the start, Since she often told people they never needed to take themselves too serious.
How would Akuko let some one know she was there? Well at least this was normal by slamming the door she came through as loud as possible. The guild hall was a fairly large building. Which made it interesting."Well, This is a big place huh?"Yes she was talking to no one for the moment and Akuko really did not care at all. It was just part of her normal flare. Even then she would mention eventually."Maybe just maybe I need to see if anyone else here."After all this would be a large empty and boring building other wise.
But before she went walking around Akuko would actually talk time to look at everything in the entering room before her, Because it was just nice to admire, this left a chance that if some one found her to interact and talk her, But this was Akuko some what new home at least she should get use to this place for she would be here fairly often. But since they were a bit pointless she would just take off the pink sunglasses she normally wore over her golden yellow eyes, Just to tuck them quietly away somewhere for now, She would get them later.
It’s the greatest place Achlys ever discovers in her life, a gigantic guild hall with technically infinite room, fits perfect for her character. Achlys is not really good with her social life, it's so hard for her to get comfortable with people around her. It's just Achlys being Achlys, she prefers to be alone in her room instead of gathering with a bunch of people. To have 10 people socialize around her will make her feel uncomfortable. That is why this gigantic place is perfect for her, even if this place is a guild hall, because of how big is this place Achlys can rarely see anyone in this guild hall. Even when there is someone strolling around, the number won't bother her.
Just like what happened right now, she can hear someone slamming the entrance of the guild hall, and even say something. Perhaps this is someone she never met before, judging from the voice she never heard. But Achlys just keeps hiding on the other side of the room, reading her book and learning more about an ancient magic that she obtained lately. Until curiosity kicks her to take a peek at the person who slammed the guild hall door. She was right, she never met this lady before. Is she a member of EN? Or is she a threat to the guild? Well, Achlys decided to just observe while that lady was walking around the room.
So far it seemed pretty quiet, kind of boring.so letting out a sigh of being bored. Given she was a full blooded joyan woman and knew how to speak it better then Fiorian, She would just say in Joyan."No one's home what a shame."Compared to her Fiorian. The Joyan she spoke was masterful and cleaner."I guess can dig up my last cigar and enjoy it for now."With that being exactly what she did. Hopefully it did not do too much in here, then again it seemed like a big enough room that it would not effect much.
While taking a few steps in, She would finally lock eyes with Achyls. Exhaling a puff of smoke from her cigar. Going back to Fiorian language."Well well, some one is actually here..quiet as mouse as they say."How well each language was spoken was really notable when you heard Akuko speak them. Fiorian was a bit accented still,But she was delighted and happy to see some one here. She would start walking over casually to where Achlys was sitting.
She would actually try not to cause too much of a disruption. No all of the trouble making things would have to wait until later for the guild to have to deal with it, until her best friends Quillareine figuratively booped her on the nose and told her to stop it. she would walk to the back of the chair and lean against it. But did not try to read her book. Just honestly seemed to be starting a conversation with her as she was meeting some one new. Making sure her cigar went no one near the book reader to make sure she did not do anything to damage it. Quietly waiting for an answer.To her asking."Well, what are you reading?"
Achlys is a little shocked when she hears that lady say something in Joyan. Achlys never really learned the language, but her mom is Joyan and she heard the language sometimes as a child. Plus her mom's side of the family, the Kyoyama family are pure Joyan shamans and from her last visit to Kyoyama family house, she heard and got familiar with the language. So she knows for sure that the lady speaks Joyan and she can understand some words. That lady is still exploring the place until she finally notices Achlys, she then says something in Fiorian while she walks closer to Achlys, she can’t really hear what that lady said. That lady leaned on the back of Achlys’s chair and asked her what she was reading.
Achlys is trying to understand the situation and didn’t want to react in a wrong way about the situation, so she comes up with a pretty straight forward answer. ”If you’re asking to start a conversation, the simple answer is this book is about ancient beliefs from Seven. But if you are really interested to know more, I can tell you details about this book.”
For the moment Akuko did not mind because she still did kind of just in placed herself here, But she would at least turn her head away. Take a inhale of her cigar and release the smoke away from Achlys."It does sound interesting."Then again Akuko also assumed even if she could ever have a chance of seeing that book for herself, depending on the language she could not read it as perfectly as she could have wanted too."After all, I know very little about anything considering Seven."It did have her interest, It was a chance to learn something new.
And since she did not seem to be bother her right now. But then well with the hand that had nothing in it. she would offer to shake hands with Achlys."I have seen enough times, A fiorian tradition is to shake hands during introductions."Akuko would for the most part make these things pretty simple. Sure it seemed flashy to have golden finger accessories on all of her fingers and thumbs, But maybe their was a reason to look so flashy later."I am Akuko Hisako."Normally in Joya it was the opposite way, she would use her last name to start and her first name to start, But since they where not in Joya, That did not matter, But other reason why she is never called by her last name as well.
Nonetheless, She would still keep this fairly plain and simple."It is wonderful to meet you."Akuko's impress of this lady was she was fairly pleasant so far and rather delightful."Are you the only one in the guild hall currently? For some reason. I expected a few other people at least."She seemed to mention it harmlessly, Then again maybe she was late to the party.
That lady surprisingly looks pretty interested with the book that Achlys read, but she didn’t bother to ask more questions about it. She said that she knows very little about Seven, and that makes Achlys a little bit confused. “Isn’t that the reason why we read and learn about something? Because we only know a little about it?” Think Achlys to herself while suddenly, that lady offering her hand to be shaken while she introduces her name. Her name is Akuko Hisako, she is definitely not from Fiore because she said shaking hands during introductions is what fiorian do. To be polite, Achlys grabs her hands and introduces herself. “Hi, my name is Achlys. It’s really nice to meet you miss Hisako. I notice you speak Joyan really well and you’re learning about Fiore and its culture, so I assume that you came from Joya? I’m half Joya, from my mom's side. So maybe we can bow to ourselves instead of shaking hands? Hahaha…” a small giggle comes out from Achlys at the end of her sentence right there. Akuko then asks Achlys about where everyone else is. “Well, this place has almost infinite room where everyone can have their own perfect room to do their stuff, so I rarely see someone around here and that’s quite normal. I myself actually have my own room to read but this book makes me feel like I want to read somewhere else.” Achlys answer to Akuko.
It seemed Akuko had something to point out a bit more but she seemed to found a bit of a chuckle about it."That is true, But I would need to be able to read language it is written in."She mentioned in return, Keep in mind she did not attempt to look at the book yet."I can read Joyan perfectly fine, However. Fiorian I still am working on."It did not help Akuko was lazy and did not read all that often. But Achlys did not know this about her yet."Unless your book is about magic from Seven, translated to Joyan, I might be a bit out of luck there."The might bit a few flaws with in that, but Akuko would assume no one is perfect.
It was a fair point. Finding it interesting what she knew about how her life use to be.It was interesting and tempting to start speaking the next entire sentence in parts of Fiorian and joyan at random points of speaking, But that would be cruel and unneeded."Well, That is interesting to know. I did not want to assume much of you because that is rude."Akuko making a point tapping one of the horn on her head gently just once."After all, I don't assume your a daemon even with the horns."She meant no harm pointing this out either. It was just something she was pointing out. She could be Demi-human or daemon either would not bother since it was just some one nice interesting and now to talk too.
But with that she would say."It will be something, I can keep in mind next time. It seemed easier to stick to what was common, Unless a secondary greeting is normal and common?"Akuko would make sure, if they were then she would have no problem bowing. Common thing as this progressed on she would turn her head away and take another puff of her cigar."Well if that is the case,I guess when I get my room here, I hope some one does not mind a loud, rusty squeaky door."It seemed to entertain her to mention. Even if with in her mind with cringed in internally from being called by her last name, But it was a her problem and she would not express it aloud."You meet interesting people everywhere you go here."
“It is so nice of you to avoid assuming that I’m a Daemon based on my horns. But it’s okay, I am a Daemon.” Her lack of social skills sometimes makes her simply say whatever is in her mind, plus she doesn't really think about how other people feel. Perhaps that is why it’s not easy for her to get a friend?
”To my knowledge bowing is more normal for Joyan, because that is how my mom usually greets people. But here bowing probably shows more respect.” Achlys is not a Fiorian as well, plus she rarely interacts with people, especially when it comes to starting a conversation. All she said are just things in her knowledge and might be wrong.”Well, I don’t mind any kind of room, the members are free to create their own room the way they like it. So far I never had a problem with a room that was loud or noisy. I don’t know, maybe the rooms in this building are some kind of sound proof?”
With that it seemed at least when Akuko mentioned what she was going to next was more just out of her personal notice of meeting another daemon herself."Oh? Maybe I just keep guessing correctly."Akuko mention in delight. More to add in anyway after all."Since I myself am a daemon, Just able to hide it a bit better due to what the abilities it had given me have done."Akuko mentioned it because she had a feeling to her newly achieved acquaintance she was hoping would lead into a friend, Akuko just seemed like a fairly out there looking joyan woman, But it was an interesting tale how she is what she was now.
She was still correct, Bowing was normal in Joya just something she had done here out of happen stance. But Akuko would now for more of humour sake to see if she could get a chuckle out of Achyls would walk over to the front of her and bow in greeting and respect."Like this?"With a bit of a smile after she was smile, The type to know what was playing around like a typical trickster. Then returning to the spot she was resting, With her cigar almost being finish she would at least get one final puff from it before that return, She would have to find a place to rid of the ashes and its but end later.
She would explain there was a reason behind the choice of door. It was fairly simple, even if equally it was just to annoy people if they did not have sound proofing."It is merely a personal choice, Even if this place works as you mention, I would like to know when people enter my room when i am there with out the use of magic, It is a simple trick that bugs people."That was the entire reason for it, The playful trickster way of Akuko was some what starting to show now, For the moment it was small things that just seemed minorly annoying.
Achlys smiles a little bit when Akuko bowed after what Achlys told her about. She did it right, more Joyan style and a little bit too much compared to how people in Fiore did it, but that’s fine. Achlys only smiles and not really saying anything or correcting Akuko. Akuko explained the reason why she wanted a noisy door, and to think about it, that can be pretty annoying, just what Akuko is trying to achieve with the door.
”Is this your first time in the guild hall building?” Ask Achlys to Akuko, forcing herself to keep the conversation going. Achlys knows for sure that she needs to train her social skills and that’s why she wants to use all the chances available. Getting new friends and trying to keep a conversation going is the best way to learn. She can do or try some greetings in the mirror, but to actually do that to other people is not as easy and not as hard. ”Did you get the chance to explore Oak? Or maybe Baska and Astera? Or perhaps you explored Fiore? I’m curious about your story."
Two very simple and interesting things, There was a few things that were new to her. More then a few things but that would explained eventually. That eventually being now."Yes, This even my first guild over all, There are a few things here that are interesting and new experiences in life."She mentioned because it was just how her life was."It is almost like an entirely new life here compared to where I was."It seemed like however she was content with her life currently right now even if it was just fairly simple and very little with the things she had, which was pretty much her clothing, whatever cigars she could take, drinks and food.
As for exploring Oak. The simple might be a bit more interesting to hear of."I only went to, one spot to look at some clothing then came here,The pub here, I do not know what all Oak has here, It seems there is always more to see."Maybe this was a chance for Achyls if she was really interested in something to do with Akuko. After all maybe Achyls was a better guide to for her to go around Oak with.
”Well, you choose the best guild for your first guild ever. EN was my first guild as well, and I think this will always be my home no matter what.” Akuko’s statement about EN being her first guild some memories come back to Achlys’s mind. Back in the day when she joined EN, she really didn't know anyone except Odin for his reputation, and it’s not easy to blend with every other member of EN. Now, this place is her house, her home. With all things in the past, Achlys is really attached to EN and most people in it.
”There is always an interesting place to visit, based on what you like to do or what you like to see. Some places even come with some surprises. I myself will say that I didn’t have enough experience in exploring Oak, since I don't really go well with crowds. You might find someone that can take you around.” It is true that Oak will always be interesting to explore, but it’s how crowds make Achlys feel uncomfortable that stopped her from exploring.
At least so far, She could admit."It is interesting and homely so far I can admit."Akuko mentioned Achyls also might be helping because she seemed awkward but likeable to be around in Akuko's eyes."Maybe I should sneak around a bit more eventually and see what other people are like in the future."She then giggled slightly like a typical trickster like she was starting to get plans now, but so far it would not be anything in the future that might be done, Yet to be shown how she would meet people, then again there was more to this conversation.
Since she did not seem like a crowds type."It is fine I have my ways around a group of people to sneak around if needed."Now she figured it might be time to show her, But first she would have to lead into it, That way maybe she did not spook her intentionally not that she thought her easily scared, she was being a bit safe for now."So, Do you want to see an...interesting trick I can do?"She would call it a trick it was really magic she got from being a daemon, But since it was mentioned she was one already it was most likely easy to put together. Akuko did work in strange ways so she always just made sure to toy around in some ways."It will be harmless, I promise."Akuko mentioned just to see what would happen.
"You can return to your book right after this, Come on follow me."Akuko would go walking towards some where in the room the most shadow or darkness with it. Waiting for Achyls to come join her, But so far she was just standing in front of it, waiting for her daemon friend to be ready. Then Akuko would stand in the middle part of this darkest part of the room."Stand here for a moment." It was a polite request at least, As she would walk towards Achyls so she could stand in that spot, She would place her pink glasses on her face just for the fun of it for now."Ready now?"With a delighted smile on her face and waited to hear from her she was in fact ready.
She doesn’t even know why but Achlys just agrees to see what trick Akuko will show to her. Achlys follows her guide to stand, leaving her book for a moment. In fact, it’s been a while since the last break she took from reading that book. Achlys is really interested in that book because she found some stories and some clues that might help her to get stronger. All the information that she gained from that book might lead her to a bigger scoop of investigating and gathering information. Being strong is always the goal of her life, which means that she will never stop chasing that goal no matter what and no matter how. But for now, it seems like a short break won’t distract her from learning information from the book and definitely won’t distract her from finding a way to get more and more stronger from her current level. So for now, let's see the trick from Akuko.
Would this help her learn and get stronger? No idea Akuko just had neat tricks and wanted to she show off. While trying to seem a bit more interactive with Achyls."I get around places with this ability of mine, Given I do not use as expansive as I think I can be used."She would mention that to Achyls, But seemed not effected by Akuko placing her sun glasses on her earlier, But then again it was for the fun of it in the end."Keep in mind, my tricks only work in sections of shade and shadow."She mentioned then before walking into it like a person would walk behind a curtain.
With nothing really showing a person to hide behind.Then Akuko's head popped out of the ceiling above Achlys slowly coming out of the ceiling she then reached out and tapped her gentle on top of the head."As long as their is shade, I move around interesting ways, Pretty interesting huh?"Akuko could come off a little childish in this matter she seemed to be having fun with this situation. But Akuko just viewed almost everything as fun and games more often then not.
But she did not take her glasses back yet and went back to sneaking around, But she would eventually just show up from the floor a few minutes later she would start slowly raising out of the ground but just stopping at her hips."Well what do you think? Pretty interesting thing to be able to do huh?"She would creep back into that shade again, At least she proved also she was still able to have a conversation."I am slowly learning what all things I can do are, This is just a starting point." It sounded like she was speaking right next to her. Just not seen at this time."It is how I have gotten around the area not really seen." At this time. Then she come back like she was just walking into the door. Then casually rested on one of Achyls' shoulders.
She would take her glasses back place then places them on her face in front of her eyes like most people did with glasses."Well, What do you think? an interesting thing?"She was asking to see what her guild member thought, Seemingly not really trying to impress her too much, more being rather curious.
Achlys gets to see Akuko move around in the shadow, it is a pretty convenient skill especially for an assassin. ”It’s pretty interesting and useful in some situations, especially spying or doing assassin moves.” Said Achlys to Akuko. Achlys doesn’t really have something like that under her sleeve, something to entertain someone might slip out of her brain. She never really thought something like that could be useful for socializing with new people.
Well now Achlys learns something about social skill, at least this interaction does not really have any benefit for her. ”I think you should start exploring the guildhall, maybe make your own room or something. I will be heading back to my room right now to do some business so I’ll see you around. It’s really nice to meet you.” Said Achlys while she grabbed her book and started walking to the elevator, heading back to her room.
"If you’re looking for anyone from EN, they might be at the festival on Oak Street. They might be in their room, but it's pretty hard to find the right room for the person you're looking for and they might still go to the festival later, so my suggestion is just go to the festival and wait there." Achlys said those words while walking past that person and started to walk away. She instinctively did that, in her mind she is trying to at least say something but getting out of the situation as well, while in fact she might look rude when she is actually trying to hide that she's nervous.
It seemed with that suggestion Akuko might have a place to do things."Well, I don't mind doing what I have too. But sometimes peeking on others does get a bit interest at times."Maybe she was just going to do that if ever asked, Sneak enough and spy on people, after all it seemed even if she was willing to kill a being if need be she could easily find better things to do with her time."I guess I can be more then just an annoyance then."She just laughed about it slightly, Because it seemed to entertain her.
But it seemed maybe Akuko just was doing this wrong at this point. Or she was just far too strange to the workings of people since she worked far differently. It would not bother her if it was the case, After all each person did work differently maybe these two can get along, just Akuko was a bit much, which she expected. But if Achlys wanted to go do other things. No reason to be just let her. Just meant Akuko went off to do other things. If Akuko and Achyls met one another again she might have to expect what was shown might be used.
But she seemed to bow with her suggestion."Very well, I will go find something to do. Or settle into a room."With that Akuko seemed to just, go off of her own like it was a normal day, Content with how things went.
