Roaming through the streets of Baska, Shichiro had quite a bit on his mind. With his hands in his pockets and a lemur on his right shoulder, he wondered what he should be doing at a time like this. He thought he'd only be here for the sights and the tournament but even while he was off duty, something pressing had always seem to surface for him. It was never the kind of situation that he could pass off to a lower ranking Rune Knight either. Besides the tournament he was doing mostly for fun, there seems to be an issues with Fernando and this rival of his he's never heard of until now. he was a witness to attempted murder and instead storming the culprit's known location to look for clues or the suspect themselves, he decided to hold off on doing so at the request of Fernando. he wasn't sure why he shouldn't immediately arrest somebody that tried to kill one of his employees or attempt to harm him in anyway but his reasons were his own and hje figured he'd find out in due time. There's also some other looming problems involving the knights that he'd rather not think about at this very moment. What was suppose to be a vacation trip had been ruined immediately with just a few events happening in the same week. Letting out a small sigh, Shichiro pulled out his pockets to caress his lemur companion as it began to make curious sounds. It seems to be hungry again and that would me Shichiro would have to find it something to eat soon. Before he could do so however, a girl had approached him, a letter in her, pushing it towards Shichiro as if it was sent to him. It indeed was addressed to him with Gerard's signature.

As if he didn't have enough on his plate, Shichiro reluctantly took the later, giving the girl a tip before cutting it open with his nails. It was, of course, from Gerard asking him to meet him at the clinic again. Well, this was just his luck, he supposed. Shoving the letter into his right pocket, Shichiro made a quick detour to a fruit and nut stand to purchase a handful of each in a small bag and giving one of the bags to his lemur companion. He then took the other bag and put it away for later. The one he put away for later was the nuts as the fruit would spoil easier without refrigeration of some kind. Making it to Gerard's clinic, Shichiro had let himself in and inquired about seeing Gerard to a receptionist. They had asked him if he had an appointment to which Shichiro had responded he was the one who was summoned to meet him. The receptionist then looked through their computer screen in order to if he was telling the truth. Halfway through the check, they had realized there was a note saying, 'if a man named Shichiro Uchida' had shown up, he was to let in immediately and seated somewhere.' After peering at the note and back at Shichiro, he was immediately let into the lobby from the waiting room in order to search for Gerard. Finding him in the only place this man could be, he spotted and irritable Gerard pacing in his office back and forth, suddenly jumping in surprise upon Shichiro's entrance. Ushering Shichiro to a seat, he then began to explain what caused him to be in such a panic this time around. As Shichiro listened to Gerard's concerns, it seems they've finally done something unforgivable this time around and he wanted Shichiro to do something about it this time.

Shichiro nodded to the doctor, saying he'll do whatever it takes to apprehend the ones in charge of polluting the water even further. He understands the gang is mad at society and what not but that there's no reason to drag innocent people's lives into this. Gerard then shook his head once again and advised Shichiro not to do anything rash like trying to take on the entire gang. Damn, Shichiro had thought to himself. First Fernando doesn't want him to arrest the person who hurt him and almost murdered his employees and now this? He can't even attempt to take out the gang cause the entirety of Baska strife by poisoning the water with an even stronger dose of poison. Why is everybody such a coward in this city, Shichiro thought to himself. Unfortunately, this was a request so the method of how to take care of certain things was left up to the discretion of the client, not the mage in question. Gerard continued, by givimg him the location of the hideout the gang was recently holing themselves up in. He wondered how Gerard knew this information and as if he read his mind, Gerard had told him all the residents and locals know where they stay its just they don't have the man power to do anything about it. Even some of the Rune Knights stationed here won't lift a finger to help. When this was all said and done with, Shichiro figured he'd have to have a word with some of the pages and knights stationed around here. Other than that, Shichiro had his work and goal in front of him so he'll do just that. Getting up from his seat, Shichiro began to make his wait back to the entrance of the clinic in order to go and try to settle this matter 'peacefully'.

Making his towards the collier gang's lair. He pulled out the bag of nuts he had saved for his animal companion later for when it got hungry again. It was around his feeding time again anyhow so he simply pulled the bag out of his pack and handed it to his lemur companion resting on his left shoulder. Shortly after, he arrived at the place he was instructed to go to and try to persuade the leader of the gang. At the entrance, he had spotted two guards out in the front before deciding it was best to just walk towards them normally. While they were alert, they weren't exactly frightened of him or anything like that. Instead they walked towards him, asking if he was here to see the boss as if they were expecting his arrival or something of the sort. Shichiro just agreed, nodding his head before one of them nudged his head in Shichiro's direction. The other man nodded before approaching Shichiro in order to frisk him, eventually finding and taking his gauntlet away from him. Shichiro motioned to resist but the other guard had extended his right arm, assuring him he'd get his weapons back after his meeting with the boss, they had to make sure he wasn't planning to attack their boss the moment he went in or anything like that. Shichiro begrudgingly complied, knowing if anything went south, he'd be able to handle his own without his weapon anyhow. Being escorted in, Shichiro looked around the place to see if he could check out and memorize the layout. If things went south, he'd at least want to know about the lay of the land in order to maneuver accordingly. Eventually, he arrived at their leader's chambers in order to have a word with him.

Being offered a seat, Shichiro sat down and began to explain and plead with the leader in order to give up on their ambition and even turn themselves in for their past transgressions. Of course, negotiations like that never go well as the leader had gotten impatient with him and decided negotiations had broken down. With thatm the leader had vanished right before Shichiro's eyes as six of their goons had began to surround Shichiro. Standing up slowly, releasing an irritated he knew things would go in this direction which is why he opted for just going in and taking down the gang in the first place. Well, he figured he'd get this over with quickly. Even without his fist weapon, Shichiro had little problem dispatching his opposition as it only took a single blow for all six of them. After he was done with that, Shichiro began to move around the perimeter in search of the leader to apprehend. Forget the client's request, he'd deal with this lunatic right here, right now. Unfortunately for him, the leader of the gang seems to have not only left the room they were in but the the entire area. Well, that's fine, they couldn't have gotten very far very quickly so Shichiro had no choice but to return to Gerard and report the events that transpired. Leaving the gang area, Shichiro made sure to retrieve his weapon that was taken by the guards initially, by force, before exiting the area himself. Making his way back to the clinic, Shichiro entered the building into the waiting area before heading straight to the office where he would find an anxious Gerard waiting for him. Shichiro made eye contact with him silently before sighing and sitting down in the chair in order to give the run down of the situation. Gerard expected as much, as he listened to Shichiro inform him if what happened. he thanked Shichiro for his efforts and gave him his reward for the job and send him on his way.
