PouchOf all the ways Aly could see himself convincing the beautiful Bella Missandra that an alliance between herself and Fairy Tail would be in her best interest, he had not expected a shot taking contest to be the deciding factor. It certainly didn't help that the wood elf had barely touched any kind of alcohol before, and so he was effectively slumped by the second shot, and even then he was surprised he had survived the first.
Merely two hours ago, back when the world wasn't spinning and his vision wasn't blurry, the young elf had visited the famed owner of the Magnolia Bathhouse with the intent to sway her towards the side of Fairy Tail. She was one of the last steps towards Fairy Tail gaining the entirety of Magnolia City under their protection and, due to his past success with the South Gate Park incident, as well as the fact that he wouldn't be recognised by the madam, Aly had been sent to close the deal.
It had started off so well, as far as he could tell. He had met with Miss Missandra, who had invited him into her office to have a proper conversation about the finer details. Their conversation had mostly involved the beautiful Bella discussing her fears regarding the safety of her organisation in the 'hands' of the Fairy Tail guild, something Aly was quick to reassure her of. Fairy Tail were not looking to change anything, they simply wished to help protect the lands better, and gaining control made it easier to keep any kind of threat outside of Magnolia. It had been a good answer, and they were about to celebrate with a drink. After that, there was another drink, and then Aly was doing shots. Bella mumbled something about him being cute as he managed the first, gagging as the fiery liquid poured down his throat. The deal would be finalised if he managed to consume the second. Not wanting to be beaten, the elf downed the shot without a second thought. It was for the guild.
He woke up the next morning, still in Bella's office with his head pounding. The mistress simply chuckled at the evening's events, and agreed that Fairy Tail had earned her respect, and put her fears to rest. She would happily join forces with the guild.
