Another hellish night, another frantic day.  Ko awoke after the chaos of the previous night in the worse shape he'd been in since arriving on the Island.  As if the Bats hadn't been bad enough, he and the entire camp had been harassed by bugs the entire night as well.  Bug bites covered his exposed skin, and he felt utterly sick to his stomach.  

He could hardly even think about the word 'food' at the moment, but he knew he had to find something.  If he went into the next night too weak from not having eaten it could spell his gruesome death.  Or worse, the death of someone else.

The dawn finally arrived. Mary rose stiffly from her bedding with a raspy groan. She looked pale... With a mild tint of green. Like death warmed over, really. Between the scratches and the bugbites it was a small miracle she still had even a drop of blood in her. The memories from last night were hazy. She wasn’t sure if it had been real or just a nightmare. Her backpack felt lighter though. A closer inspection confirmed that she had managed to lose the hatchet. Oh well. Perhaps it was better this way. She was no good with such dangerous things.

A faint growl reminded the ghoulish woman that the living, unfortunately, needed to eat. She walked weakly into the forest yet again in search of food. This time, however, she desperately needed something that would make her feel better. Some herbs perhaps? With that thought, she went snooping into the bushes. The other contestants might catch glimpses of a grim, groaning silhouette slowly shuffling through the shadows... Arms dangling in front of it... And hunger gleaming in the hollow gaze.

Nuala had somehow survived another night on this island. Things weren’t improving and even though she was slowly getting a hang of things (or so she thought), whoever was behind all of this continued to surprise her. Luckily she had found a weapon, because last night their camp was attacked by giant monster bats and she had to fight for her life. It came completely unexpected and she struggled to find her way around, only surviving because of what she believed was her own luck and will to live. For now it was another day and she would go looking for some nuts or whatever else was edible. She had found some notes that had some good info written on it, perhaps that would help her.

Nuala was somewhat lucky. With the notes she had found previously, she was able to identify some decent nuts. She didn’t think nuts were really that complex, but apparently they were. Either way, the notes helped her make a better choice than she would had prior to having it and so she took the nuts with her. But that wasn’t all she was looking for. She wasn’t feeling too well under the circumstances and so she decided to go fishing again. Nuala freaking hated fish, but they were very nutritious and also very easy to catch. Hopefully they would at least make her feel better if she ate them. Nuala had been unlucky with fruits and meat so far, so fish it is.

Nuala was lucky, considering the circumstances at least. The Voidling had managed to find some decent nuts and managed to catch some proper fish as well. In the past she very much used to be the hunter gatherer type but those days were long gone. It was actually kinda nice getting back to the roots, if only she didn’t have to worry about what would happen next to them. It was probably wise to sleep a bit during daytime, because night time was when the crazy stuff happened but Nuala had other plans. She had lost her weapon during the fight and was hoping for something to replace it.

Nuala had found a Rusty Dagger, which very much reminded her of the items she usually used to fight with. Of course none of her usual items were with her at this moment, or else this wouldn’t be a problem. They had mysteriously disappeared and she had no clue where all of her stuff went. Anyway, the Rusty Dagger was broken during her fight against the monster bats and while it had saved her life, she knew it wouldn’t last beyond that one fight. But Perhaps she was lucky enough to find a new weapon if she kept looking. And with that in mind, Nuala went on her merry way.

So far she hadn’t been very lucky. The island was mostly covered by woodlands and she didn’t really know where she could find a useful item here. Nuala was mainly looking for weapons and the dagger she had found was just something that had been lying around near the road. She assumed that's because someone else who was also fighting for their lives here had dropped or lost it. She remembered to pay attention to the roads, but she also didn’t want to risk being seen by anyone. After all you could never know who was friend and who was foe in a place like this. Although if Nuala had to take a guess, everyone was probably her enemy.

Where were the freaking items? Nuala couldn’t seem to find anything, and it’s almost been an hour. Although she did realize that she was being incredibly impatient here, the Voidling hoped to find something useful as soon as possible so she could go and take a nap. It’s been a long day for her and the events of the night were still weighing heavily on her mind. With everything that was going on, she wasn’t even able to think about what would happen once she got off the island and if she could return to normal at all. All she wanted right now was a weapon that would help her stab people and defend herself.

Nuala was creeping through the bushes. The weather was good, but there had been pesky bugs that had been bothering them and she wasn’t feeling well. After eating some disgusting fish however, it seemed that her condition had improved. That aside, Nuala was still not done looking for useful stuff. The island surely had a lot to offer and during daytime it was almost beautiful. A landscape like this was something she could enjoy, but not under these circumstances. Nuala really wanted to get this over with so she could climb onto one of the trees and take a nap. Even the notes she had initially found had proven to be useful. But she wanted a weapon now!

Nuala’s thoughts drifted off to Daeva Eye. With Venus and Kaiser dead, she wondered what the guild would be doing. Did they even know that those two were dead already? As far as Nuala was concerned, she didn’t think that anyone was aware that they had stranded on this island only to fight for their lives and she figured that until she found her way off the island, this would continue. It really was the worst case scenario, but Nuala took it with a grain of salt. Looking through the woods and bushes, she was searching for treasure. Perhaps she would be able to find something that could assist her?

As time went on, things were becoming more and more frustrating for the Voidling. She really couldn’t find ANYTHING on this island and it was as though the place she had picked was simply and notoriously bad for finding little treasures. This was really unusual to the thief who was accustomed to finding spots were secret and hidden things could be found, so maybe she had to change up her strategy. If the place she was currently at was no good for anything, then Nuala would venture somewhere else and hopefully be more fortunate in her endeavours. And she was still looking for a helpful item!!!

As the hours went by, Nuala’s search continued and remained fruitless. The Voidling even thought of giving up! There were a lot of other things on her mind right now anyways. She hadn’t met another person yet and she was glad for it. The last thing she needed was a target on her back and someone else who she had to be careful of, even though she was very confident in her own ability. The truth is, Nuala hasn’t felt as strong as she usually did while on the island and at this rate it would only be a matter of who was lucky. She was still searching for that damned item though.
