Kenzo walked through the streets of Marigold as he waited for something interesting to happen. It was almost around noon, and the weather was simply perfect for a stroll. The blue haired merc walked through one of the many hills of the city without a particular destination in mind. For all he knew, he just had to kill some time. His guild mate Noel and himself had arrived a couple of days before in order to escape the people hunting them. However, he was wondering if it was not a better idea to just fight any bounty hunters that came looking to cash his head for some money. Many of the people that saw the man definitely recognized him, but very few of them would even dare to sustain eye contact with him, so he knew that it would be extremely rare for him to find some trouble.

Either way, Kenzo was thinking about some rumors he had heard in the streets those past days. Marigold was supposedly the hometown of a rather particular guild. Penumbral Guard, was it? The merc’s interested was piqued upon hearing that two of the strongest members were a Joyan swordsman and a Lich respectively. Kenzo had fought many wars in Joya, so he was familiar with them. However, he had never met a Lich before. Perhaps he’d take advantage of this chance to see one for himself. That was of course, if he could ever figure where the hell the guild was supposed to be located. Contrary to most cities, the main building was nowhere in sight within the city’s landscape. Penumbral Guard was supposedly concealed in a semi-secret location. All of these thoughts crossed his mind as he walked absentmindedly next to some shops and kids playing. Taking a brief stop, the mercenary sighed. ”Hope I find something interesting today.”

Natsumi was walking through the streets of marigold again, looking around as she was taking a break from working out, being in tshirt and shorts as she began jogging once more. Breathing steady, sweating as she jogged at an easy, manageable pace. She thought to herself as she jogged.\\

'How long have I been at this, I have no clue anymore, but I need to keep it up, training everyday is good, keeps me on mark.

She picked up the pace. Transitioning into a small run. soon tripping over her own feet, face planting the ground, slowly getting up as he forehead was red from the impact.

"why does that always happen. I am still not used to being in town with me being this tall,Why did I have to hit that growth spurt. I Liked being short like before.

She begins running again as she soon spots someone familiar, a person she once took a quest with back when she was short and just starting her training. Remembering the quest she got fed up with how he thought she was a kid back then. Smiling she ran up to him as despite the sudden growth spurt and growing in height and chest areas, her hair was the same and held a similar appearence to when she looked like back then. she looked down at him

"Hey Kenzo remember me, We took that quest that once, giving those kids some exercise and all.

Seemingly out of nowhere, it would appear that the day would suddenly become more interesting. Hearing a familiar voice calling for him from behind, the blue haired merc turned around slowly to meet the owner. What would be his surprise upon finding an abnormally tall girl seeking for him. For a second, the man doubted his eyes as he started recognizing the facial features of the girl in front of him. However, upon hearing what she had to say there was no doubt about it, no matter how surprising it was. ”Natsumi…? He asked as he crossed his arm and placed one hand over his chin, squinting both eyes to try and see her in better detail. It was quite an interesting experience. Kenzo was a tall guy by normal standards, but the red eyed girl he had met a while ago dwarfed him by at least 20 centimeters.

”Is that really you?” Kenzo continued as he scratched the back of his head. From the looks of it, the fire mage was in the middle of some kind of physical training. If her routine had given him these results, he was sure as hell wanting to hear everything about it. ”How have you been? Seems you caught the habit of exercising after that quest” joked the male as he turned his neck upwards to meet her eyes. Taking a small pause, Kenzo crossed both arms as he let out a chuckle before teasing her. ”From what I remember, the last time I saw you, you were running away as you escaped and left me alone up a stage…”

Kenzo had some time to kill for the moment, so he decided to join Natsumi in her training spree. Jogging through the Marigold hills, the two of them caught up as they spoke about the stuff they'd done during the last year.

Natsumi had fun catching up with her old quest mate, she grinned and though to herself

"It was great to see him again, well I better head off before I cause anymore trouble"

She headed off into her own direction, pondering and remember how she used to be, the moments she had wished she can wipe away, the moments she felt despair, the moments she was happy and those time she was sad, wanting to cry out loud. No more willl she feel like that, She had planned to now burn all of those away use them to feul her inner fire and finally be herself.
She was truly on her way to being a better person and not to mention a better mage.
Before she left the area she raised her hand, firing up a flame, watching it till it fizzled out as she smiled at the sky. "I wont be like that anymore, if i am gonna do something, i wont stop till it is done, even if i was burned in the process. She yells at the top of her lungs before she ran off at top speed, tripping and hitting the floor. not stopping she got up and kept going
