One of the famous tales Masami has read in the past about Marigold City is the legend of the white wolf. Also known as the lunar wolf, sometimes mentioned as "Okami," but they'll all be entirely the same. Masami was told that there'd be a wolf taking in the clothing of sheep, disguising itself so it may hunt their prey. What kind of wolf would be as intelligent as that? To be able to pretend as if it is one with the sheep; Masami found that scenario quite similar to him, being extremely feminine looking. Once again, he found himself sitting in the same branch as before, late at night, when the moon was gleaming and the stars were following it. He didn't yawn this time – he was admittedly prepared.

He was watching the sheep from afar, about five meters away from the tree branch he is sitting upon, for about an hour now. There were no signs of the wolf, and some of the sheep were already sleeping. Such sleepy folks are very prone to becoming preys, the intelligent wolf would never hunt in a way that it would get caught. Masami dropped from the tree and hid himself among the sheep; they weren't scared of him at all, but there would be no worries if they were. Their wool would've been cut up sooner or later, which was why they were very fluffed up. And there it was, the wolf he was warned about.

As Masami lowered himself down to the ground, he compressed his fingers and placed his eyes between the gaps in the middle. In a few seconds, he is able to see colors normal people don't see in a daily basis. Colors of temperature, used to distinguish which and whom is different from the other. That wolf's temperature was indeed different, and he knew how to hide himself well. It was like hunting, like before, this should be easy for Masami.

Getting closer, the hunter starts realizing how massive the wolf was. But not too massive, just the right massiveness. Still quite massive, though, which had intimidated Masami quite a bit. The wolf appeared to be a parent, with its size, but a task will still be a task even if that wolf earned Masami's sympathy. When he flickered a fire spell, the wolf panicked and ran in a very quick pace. That was the time when Masami had to jump up and reveal himself. The sheep panicked as well and left the area, especially when the wolf charged in with its claws prepared, but Masami was quick enough to grant himself a shield; Saigo no Ishi, Last Will, but that wasn't exactly the last. Again, Masami flickered a fire spell with his pinky, burning the wolf's head. When it was too focused unto the fire and weren't able to move anymore, that's when Masami used a blade and pushed it unto the predator's skin.

The body was once again, heavy. The sheep would not stop squealing when they saw the wolf, even if it was only a corpse. "It's alright, it's gone now. Everyone is safe now." Masami said in a calming voice, then started to groan each inch he pulls the wolf's body toward's the requester's door step. Farmer Jim mentioned that he'd be creating a coat out of the skin... isn't he taking his advantages all too well? Anyway, the performer bowed after receiving his reward and left. It would be sooner or later that the wolf's children grow and play avenge their parent's death.
