There was no more time to waste. Cecil planted himself in the middle of the empty garden, alone and ready to become a greater him. As a mage, it was important for him to further understand his abilities. It was one thing to use the power of words but an entirely different thing to use the power of magic. With both, perhaps he could one day be strong enough to single-handedly push the world in the right direction. Alas, a man can only dream. With a deep breath, the Life magic dropped onto his ass. Quickly he folded his legs and used his knees as armrests. His eyes shut, suddenly he could feel the winds collide with his skin. The leaves rustled, and people from meters away could be heard.

Most people stayed indoors after evening hours. Although this side of Crocus was supposed to be the safest place in the country, some people didn't trust their leaders like how they used to. Right now, the people were fragile. The Desiertan thought about nothing. It was important for him to focus on the world around him. He often found himself caught up in his own thoughts, which was its own world. As moments passed, Cecil began to conjure a green circle underneath him when suddenly the plants had began to move around and brush upon his body. Some of the plants had been wrapping around his leg. The green magic circle beneath him lit up his little area. Cecil's mind was elsewhere.

No longer was he tuned into the world around him. He was back in his own mind, yet his own mind had revealed a world that wasn't his mind after all.

Raquin was always a night owl. Her job consisted of dealing with nocturnal creatures day in and day out. The hunter walk around aimlessly. The sights of the gardens were different than in Iceberg. There, everything was cold and dead. Her home country was all about survival. Her parents breed and raised her with survival of the fittest. Her raptor-like eyes indicated her modified genes. Patches of navy blue scales appeared all over her body, but most were cleverly hidden by clothing.

She kept thinking about Nessie. The very cryptid that taught her the magic she knew today. It was her soul mission to find and learn from the great beast. The creature was like a second mother. Now, wasn't the time to think about that now. She had a job to do. It was said a rare creature hid itself within the gardens of Crocus. It blended in with the surroundings much. "Where is that bloody Areige? For Nessie's sake, where is it" she hissed. She shuffled quietly looking for it. She had to collect a scat or scale specimen for further study. Though, she paused. Understanding the magic in the air was different. It was now different. Trying to locate the source, she wandered around hoping it was the Areige.

If one was truly in tune with nature, or had the trained mind then they too would be able to hear the music radiating off of the flowers beside Cecil. However, they were not a true friend to the earth then they would have trouble tuning in. The flowers sung a song that drowned out everything else if someone was close enough. It was Cecil's very magic that had given the plants a platform to speak. It was beautiful, and if he wasn't interrupted then perhaps he could drif enough to find some important signs. Every minute was like a second in the world Cecil was in. He had been floating in a pink sky above an open feild. He could not see a sun, but this world, in his head, was naturally brightened. The air was fresh, much fresher than that of the physical realm. If Cecil could, he would have stayed there forever. Alas, everything had an ending...

The sense of magical usage in the air was different. She was still not used to magical properties, it had been over five years since Nessie had taught her. The Icebergian paused. She taken in the scenery. A lover for Biology and it's creatures. She took a natural appreciation for life and how delicate it was. Of course, she may of been cold, but she aimed to protect all magical species and keeping them at bay away from human's harm, for the creature's sake. Concord, her companion, loved planets and its beauty.

"Iceberg was never this prepossessing. Colors and new scents everywhere. I wish human-kind could appreciate nature a bit more" she spoke outloud. She had totally forgotten about the Areige. Quickly, she climbed a tree that was nearby. Her hand placed against the bark of the tree as she stood staring overhead of the whole garden. This was the part of Earthland she had never laid eyes on. Rich in life and greens unlike the barren wasteland her home country was. Her red hair stood out in the moonlight as she took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air.

"This is what father wants to protect. I see what you meant by that now" she whispered. Her eyes sparkled in glee, rarely feeling this happy. Though, nature was a favorite thing of hers.
