The threads can be used offensively, or defensively. Along with their attack and defense potential, the threads have many uses that are supplementary in nature and they are even capable of increasing the user's speed. History History: Elcia who happened to be a talented young sorceress at birth was not always granted the blessing of luck which could be why Elcia has grown into the fatalist and alcoholic she is today. At birth, Elcia was stripped from her loving home, taken by a witch, Serene Nightless, and her infamous cult all because of a deal her parents had made with the witch. A deal they would live to regret for the rest of their lives. Elcia never got the chance to know what a family was, she never met her real parents as to her, Serene Nightless was the closest thing she ever had to a mother. Although at first, the witch had no particular interest in Elcia, Serene soon realized her potential as a witch. Elcia would spend the majority of her life in a cage being forced to train with her magic it was not uncommon for Serene to withhold food and water from Elcia until she was too faint to even use magic. Elcia told herself that the witch was doing this in an act of love One fateful day rumors spread of the Rune Knights coming to Oak Town, this worried Serene Nightless as in all of Fiore's panic she was still an enemy. The witch-cult Serene Nightless led would flee temporarily. They did not want to let Elcia out of her cage as she could escape and although Elcia promised she wouldn't try, she remained in the cage as Serene did not believe her, now crying for help. That night a few Rune Knights were scouting the area, seeing the girl in the cage they rushed to help her. Breaking the cage they took her to a nearby inn to rest. When she awoke she thanked them, she did not tell them anything about Serene's whereabouts. Elcia was still apart of the witches cult and had no question that she would once again see Serene but she decided when she did it would be best if she had friends. Elcia found her way to the Phantom Lord guild and although it was a dark guild it would become Elcia's home. She was born in Oak Town and had never left it.
