Houren Vanadis
''We'll pass through Dahlia before reaching Magnolia, same as before. Let's try and make good time on it," the Fire Dragon Slayer remembered the route from their initial venture from Magnolia, but double checked the map just in case his memory happened to fail him.

When it was obvious that the other four members of the Tenrou Island expedition team were ready to move out, Houren began to trek, occasionally turning behind to look at his teammates. Sael and Winderlin might've sustained the most damage during the fight with Kerberos, but it looked like they were comforting each other, so there was no place for Houren in that circle. Kazumi seemed as moody as before, but then again, she was probably just as badly banged up - the Fire Dragon Slayer recalled her attack against Negen, even after he had powered up, right before he was taken care of by those grateful monkeys. In terms of damage overall though, Tori probably took the cake, especially after the spar that the two of them had. It wasn't as though Houren was completely unscathed either. If he had been a step or two behind, the tendons in his feet probably would have been torn by Tori during their spar.

The party was back on familiar grounds as they went back through the port city of Hargeon. The sun was shining, the sea was beautiful and sparkling, and Kazumi had no interest in any of it, not without Kira. She was just looking ahead and walking with her team on their way back to Magnolia, the place they called home. Besides, she could always come back to Hargeon when she felt up to beach time adventures— if she ever felt up to it again. That would be something she needed time for, just to let things get back to normal.

Houren mentioned  that they would have to pass by Dahlia again, as they reached the path between the two towns. Past Dahlia would be magnolia, and Kazumi could not wait to get there. She stayed quiet, sporting a bottle of water to keep hydrated, wondering if they would just be walking through the night or if they would have to spend the night somewhere in Or outside of Dahlia. Either way was good for her, she was tired and all but pure will power might be enough to power through it all and get back to her apartment in Magnolia.

#3Sael Stiel

Sael Stiel
Sael was already tired, and depressed, just overall miserable. He wanted nothing more than to get back to Fairy Tail, crawl ontop of the bar, go to sleep and never wake up again. Honestly. Right now he was laying doing on a couple of clouds while he conjured a cloudy handy helper to push his "bed" around. As soft as his clouds were they didn't do anything for his mood. He was still exhausted and still wanted to cry his heart out- A stray yawn interrupted my thoughts and I took this break to stretch out along the bed. Sinking deeper into the clouded covers.

Looking at his teammates he could tell that they were pretty exhausted too. Houren being the exception as always. Kazumi... Well they really haven't spoken since Tenrou, Sael didn't feel like opening any wounds for her so he kept his distance. Speaking of wounds he was surprised that Kazumi didn't send him flying. Or yelled at him, or anything. For goodness' sake he-! Killed... Kira...

The cloud mage drew a sigh from atop his comfy cloud bed. As tempting as it was to sleep the whole way he wasn't about to rub it in his teammate's faces. Instead he sat up and looked around to everyone as asked, voice mid yawn. "Are we almost there yet?"

The rest of the voyage across the sea was really nothing special. The group went on about themselves, and the good captain kept to the wheel, probably as eager to get back to the mainland as the Fairy Tail members were. While keeping to herself, she changed the bandages covering the burns she had received from Houren, and dozed off for a nap. That, combined with the rejuvenating effects of Seagull's burgers was all that was needed to make Tori feel 100% again. The wounds were still there, but really only cosmetic at this point, as they no longer hurt in the slightest. That was a good thing, considering she didn't want to be at a disadvantage against Houren when they returned home.

When the group made port in good old Hargeon, Tori took a deep breath and reveled in the scent of people again. All that time on the island, and she almost forgot what it was like. Thanking Captain Seagull and bidding farewell, the blonde followed along with the group as they immediately left town towards Dahlia. Just on the other side of the bleakness that was Dahlia Town, lied the glory and majesty that was Magnolia, and Tori was beside herself with anticipation.

Winderlin King
It was goodbye Tnerour and hello walking again. Widnerln wasn't complaining about anything. He didn't mind leaving straight to his hometown, and guild hall was he belonged but still no food, or stops before the left kind of sucked a bit. Houren said they were passing through something or someone, Winderlin wasn't paying attention to the whole thing and just followed behind the group and backed to MAgnoila. But something was bothering WInderlin. Well, atlot was, but still, something else was now bothering him.

He knew he was safe and everything was over, but it didn't feel right. Everything felt comfortable and not a challenge. He still doesn't understand why he was sent to his place in the first place, but he didn't think it was a good tie to question any of it but he did keep raising questions about it.But he soon dropped it and started to think about something else... Soo... Umm... how is everyone and what should we talk about or sing because of not a fan of this whole silence thing as we walk back home, Okay? He asked trying to somewhat break the ice with the group.

"I, for one, quite like the silence," the Fire Dragon Slayer replied, not with complete derision, but because he actually did like the fact that the group was pretty quiet right now.

That, and the fact that it really didn't seem like the other members of the Tenrou Island expedition team were all that interested in having a marching cadence; they were just weary adventure returning home from what could only be called an adventure gone wrong, not soldiers in the midst of a route march exercise. In any case, even if Winderlin started to sing in the hopes that the others would join in, Houren was pretty sure that it would not catch on with the others, especially not with Kazumi in the mood that she was in. On the off chance that the rest of the group would suddenly burst into song, the Fire Dragon Slayer was adamant that he wouldn't become apart of it.

"Besides, look, we're almost there," he pointed towards a sign that said Magnolia and under it was an arrow showing that they were moving in the correct direction. It wasn't the place where he was born, but he was starting to realize what people meant when they said home sweet home.

As they walked on, the loud silence started to get the better of some of the party members. they were all tired or upset or probably both, so their journey had been very quiet up to this point. Normally such a silence would be awkward, but for now it was needed. At least, Kazu thought so. Apparently this view was not shared by all and instead Sael was the first to speak up, asking if they were there yet. What kind of a question was that. It was all Kazumi could do not to comment, but she already felt bad for snapping at Tori earlier. She would feel even worse if she did that to Sai of all people. Winnie joined in, Suggesting they sing a song or something, but the crystal mage was not to sure it would catch on.

As the Dreary tree line on the outskirts of Dahlia broke, a large city could be seen like a shining beacon in the distance. It was Magnolia. Kazumi did not think she would feel so happy so soon, but here was her home right in front of her. She almost ran ahead just to get there faster, but instead she slowed down, falling behind a bit. Ever since they left the tomb on Tenrou, the crystal maker had felt this nagging feeling of being watched; not to mention the crazy buffs she was suddenly getting during the Kerberos battle; and she was going to get to the bottom of it right now, once and for all.

#8Sael Stiel

Sael Stiel
Sael laid back down as he listened to the other suggestions by his fellow guildmates. He wasn’t surprised that King was the only one to add anything. While the suggestion to sing and dance was an interesting one, he didn’t exactly feel in the mood. Not when everyone was kinda sulking. The cloud mage had no idea what the others were pissed on about. A frightening thought shot through his head, did they know about Kira. His heart sped to a sprinting pace and he ducked under the cloudy covers, eyes peeking out occasionally. He debated the issue inside his head. He didn’t want to believe that the others knew, oh dear, that would just make it worse: He felt guilty enough as it was… Now Sael wished that King would start singing soon, the silence was getting rather dense. Almost as if the non-sound were watching him with eyes unseen. Piling onto him in an almost suffocating manner.

Houren’s voice snapped him out of his pity party, pointing out that they were already almost there. The shock had Sael almost leaping out of his floating cloud bed just to see. “Wow, that was a lot faster than last time.” He noted. Probably because he slept on top of a bed this going this time around. A strangled joy coiled around his heart when he could spot the tops of the Fairy Tail guild hall, it was such a familiar sight, and after such a long time away, yes a couple of days was indeed a long time, he could swear a tiny tear rolled down his face, a tiny smile in its place. “There really ins’t any place like home is there?” While it didn’t completely lift his spirit, for the time being, his guilt didn’t feel like crushing him.

After a good amount of walking, the silence was thick among the group of mages. Win would be the one to break the silence, however, asking for a topic of conversation as he was uncomfortable with the whole trip home without any small talk. Houren would reply immediately saying that he actually enjoyed the quiet before pausing and pointing out a directional sign nearby. It read that the group was almost home, to which Tori sighed in relief. After a little while later, Sai would comment that there was no place like home as the buildings of Magnolia started to break the horizon.

Tori smiled at the sight, not realizing before that moment how much she had missed her home of Magnolia, and most importantly..Fairy Tail. Along with her feelings of nostalgia and relief, came the realization that such feelings would be short lived. She still had the battle with Houren to look forward to, which she needed to perfect a couple of spells for, as well as the current state of the guild with some of their strongest members being gone for so long. But more important than either of those things...she was fairly certain that rent was due any day now.

Winderlin King
Everyone seemed to be wanting this whole silence thing. Windelrin grumbled underneath his breath a bit before just letting the entire argument go. He tried to not be in silence but hey what could you do when the whole team is against you right... Winderlin had thoughts and conversation with himself instead.

"So that was a pretty great trip."

Ok let's define great because you only slept once if I recall correctly"

"That's true and all but still it was fun."

"No, it was not fun. You fought, fought, and fought again, and then also got struck by lightning.'

"Touche but still I was with my friends, and we fought together and won."

"But I think in your head you are thinking of this a great vacation when you were on a mission."

"Well aren't you also in my head...." Was all Widnerlin thought before houren pointed out the sign of guild's home. Sael was shocked to see how quick it took them from the last time but hey what can I say we didn't have a huge word requritment..is that breaking the fourth wall... anyway, Widnerlin smiled and started to skip further down the road. "Coe on guys, we are almost home.
