Spoiler:

ANOTHER LORD
I WILL FIND YOUR FLOWER

She followed any lead she could get. She did all she could do. Aiding the local mafia to get an edge over the other wasn't something she was happy about doing, but it was a task none the less. The more she did these things, the more she wanted to unify this land under a single name, a single banner, a single flag. She was going to unite this country, even if by force. That was the power of her family's name.

But instead, she roamed the streets, the case slung on her back, wandering place to place to find the man named Shura. She knew he was here, she felt it. He had to be.

"Perhaps inside here." she thought to herself. She needed to learn of everything and every one. She started with the under belly of Oak, and she was going to discover what the other side of the city was like.

She climbed up the steps to a large castle, wondering who would be inside. She took every step, expecting someone bare to the bone walking down with the stench of death. She imagined pure darkness within the walls of the estate.

And then the door would open. A man with a long cloak or cape of some kind greeted her with a smile.

"I am Lord Servas Phantasm, and I need your help!" the man spoke. It was an odd thing to request to some one who was borderline trespassing on your own property. Perhaps whatever he needed help with would provide her some insight into her own needs and wants.

She would catch up with the man, entering his home, wondering what evil would lurk within, only to discover the busy sounds in the distance of maids and servants. Whatever he needed, it was something he didn't dare do himself and something even his servants had chosen not to do.

"I need you to do something for me . . . " his words began, and almsot instantly Chi's mind cut off, cutting away all of the fluff and unneeded information. She didn't need to understand how, or what she needed to do, or for who. She didn't need anything more than the facts. She needed to do something. Fetch? Kill? Protect? Trap? What was her needs?

Ah, a flower? That was something she could do. Lost in the depths of a dark dungeon? Sure, why not. It wasn't impossible.

Chi followed the man's instructions to set into the basement, or as he called it, a dungeon. With each few steps it got darker and darker. Each passing moment it was as if she was falling into an abyss. Still, she took each step on the stairs downward. Her hand held onto what felt like a railing all the way down.

And further.

And further. . .

And further. . . . . . . . .

~ "So this is Fiore." she gasped at the sight of it. Her mind was eloped in darkness for too long. How long was it since she breathed again? It wasn't the world she thought she was going to find, but it was one she hoped for. It wasn't her maker's home, but it was something that still housed his power.

"I'll rise to power again." she thought to herself. "I'll make Fiore bow to The Agency. I'll unify every guild to my reach." She laughed. Her body battered and bloodied. She lay upon trash. Whoever she used to be was disposed of poorly. She looked at her skin, her hands, and she felt her green hair.

"Caitlyn." she called out, "Who was Caitlyn before me?"~

Chi opened her eyes to see a white flower in the distance. Her mind begun to conjure all kinds of thoughts in the darkness of it all. She didn't know what was real or imagination. She begun to take another step down, only to find she had finally landed on some form of grounding.

She reached out to the flower, it was large, standing as tall as she did, and seemed to be in reach. Chi extended her touch only to have the plant begin to fade away, further.

Again she would reach out. She would watch the petals fade into a mist and fade just a few more feet away. As she begun to run and reach out, again her mind would fade . . .

~ "Namey, you don't know what you're doing." The man had a cold expression, he seemed to look down at her, but the both of them sat at a table in the back of a diner with gold and riches spilled on the table. The both of them had drinks the color of blood and meals that were uncooked before them. A single creature stared at them both on that table.

"Aw, Theo, have you no faith in me? My power is growing quite fast." the girl would laugh, her nails broken and bloodied, just as the man's hands were. Who were they?

"People are talking. They need to see your power." he said, "Just because I love you, doesn't mean they'll believe me."

"Man, you drink blood with a vampire once and everyone thinks you're a murderer... alright. I'll do it."~

She reached out, chasing after the flower only to grab and hold it with her hands. She kicked at the base of the stem, breaking it. She held it in her hands, unsure of what to make of it. It seemed to be the only source of light down there. She wasn't even sure where the stairs were, but as luck would have it, as the thought hit her mind, she found herself climbing them . . .

She would make her way back to the castle, only to turn back down to see that there was much more flowers than the single one she held. They all lit their own area.

As she reached the top and met with the man, she handed him the large flower. Almost immediately he begun to cry. He was unclear as to why or what his reason was, or how she was going to get paid. That was probably something to take note of when he told her the first time.

As she left, she grabbed a handful of random little trinkets and looked back at the man. He would smile with tears in his eyes and let her leave.

It was certainly an odd night.
