Personal Name: Líng YīngTù Alias: Rini Age: Seventeen Gender: Female Class: Cleric Rank: C - Rank Guild: Blue Pegasus Tattoo: Right Inner Wrist — Yellow Face: Hitoka Yachi — Haikyū!! Appearance Height: 4 ft. 11 in. — 149.86 cm. Weight: 96 lbs. — 43.5 kg. Hair: Blonde Eyes: Brown Overall: One glaringly obvious observation about Rini, is that she is not threatening. Simple, meek, and weak — no one of importance seemingly. Almost hardly picked out of a crowd easily or given a second glance, making it difficult if anyone is looking for the small rabbit. Petite, or embarrassingly tiny, to the point where one can wonder if she has a growth deficiency. Her slim physique goes in accordance with her stature and the contours of her developing body give way to femininity. Protecting her from being mistaken as a young male. Her complexion blends in with most of the populace; a creamy ivory tone that borders onto a warm beige, that is susceptible to both burns and tans under sunlight. Easily liable to blushing or growing a shade darker, her face takes on a cute rosy tone, frequently. Unlike her sister’s long flowing hair, she sports a short hair length that never goes past her chin. Thin, feathery, daffodil locks that can be commonly seen clipped into a side ponytail — neither fully up or down. Eyes filled with a bubbly curiosity, akin to chestnuts in their shape and color. Innocently wandering and exploring much like a toddler’s, they glisten in the light like ambers. When it comes to clothing, she holds a preference to tones that are not overwhelming to the eye. Neither bright or dark; finding her area of choice to be in the middle of the spectrum — neutral. Carrying a girlish flair to her clothing choice, more of a casual style that's never too revealing or too prudish. Although she's usually hesitant when trying new things, she has an open mind when it comes to the clothing apartment. Extra: Star-shaped accessories decorate her person, and she carries a light blue journal for personal reasons. Personality Personality: Thanks to the limited human interaction she had growing up, she’s an extremely timid and hesitant child. Through in an entirely new land and environment, she’s become the literal embodiment of a deer in headlights. Due to her circumstances, Rini has become more attentive and wary of her surroundings — unlike before. Always having been coddled and protected, being told the difference between the good and bad, and guided down on which path to take. Now she must make the distinction by herself. The only way for anyone to learn on their own is experience, and she needs plenty of it, but she knows she can’t be reckless. However, she’s essentially lost when it comes to these sorts of things and may require a soft push in the right direction. For someone who wasn’t primarily raised on land, she’s making the most of her situation. Wandering around aimlessly, yet with the distinct motivation for discovery; finally growing her ‘land legs,’ so to speak. Almost seeing the world from a new pair of eyes, enjoying the feeling of learning and seeing everything in a fresh state. Yet, nervous about the unfamiliar customs, food, traditions, and lifestyle. There are so many questions and expectations about her new home, and she hopes to find out personally. She hopes in the safest way possible, though. In her efforts to keep all the information she’s acquired organized, she files them neatly away in a journal. Recording events, memories, and facts similar to a scriptor; she finds comfort in having something to fall back on when she’s unsure. Rini began this endeavor when she found out her sister’s memories have faded, hoping to be of use and ease her sister’s confusion. Although, Rini knows she can never truly relieve her sister of her troubles because of her own knowledge and memories. There’s a gap she can never really fix. Along the way, she feared losing her own memories although while taking note of the people, creatures, and objects; she’s not that worried anymore. Around those she’s gained an affinity with she is much more noticeably happier. Less worrying, more smiling. In their presence she blossoms into a whole new entity, one that is more positive-minded and trusting. Also, empathetic enough where she can share in another’s happiness or sadness, without having shared the experience. Yet, this is quite the accomplishment for someone as her overactive imagination makes her stray from others easily. Commonly intimidated by others, then chastising herself later for judging others based on first impressions and appearance alone. Rini believes there is still room to improving herself and the traits she dislikes about herself, hoping to be a better person for her life and for others. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Sun’s Blessing Magic Element: Light Magic Description: The user harnesses the energies of light for the use of curing ailments and repairing harmed organisms. Though the user may potentially heal any form of bodily damage, the patient must be alive — even if they’re hanging onto a thin thread of life. Once the patient has passed on, it would transcend the boundaries of the user’s capabilities and cannot be saved through any means there on. Primarily used for alleviating conditions, statuses, and wounds; the magic is also suitable for supplementary and other-buff uses. The stronger the user grows, the more fatal and variety of damage their magic can heal. History Before Rini was ever even a thought, there was someone before, someone who is more of a figment now. Her name was Líng YīngTù — the two were similar, but YīngTù was more carefree and unconcerned with life. However, her light in the spotlight has now diminished and she’s no longer needed anymore. YīngTù’s life began in the Country of Sin; a place full of traditions and superstitions, and beliefs relying in other spiritual entities and planes. Near the mountainous terrain is the manor where she was born in, it was isolated from most of the village and travel to and fro was not always ideal. The family name and bloodline was an important construct of the village it resided near. It was uncommon to marry by choice in the family, arranged marriages and inbreeding was more preferable as it kept the blood more rich. Yet the norm was rudely shattered when Bolin of the Líng family secretly married a foreigner from Fiore, the concept was unheard of for the village and they silently seethed at the thought. The woman from Fiore, Faun, was hardly ever seen outside of the manor. Assumedly for her and her future children’s safety. Bolin did her errands, he kept her safe, he broke the unspoken rules, and it was all for happiness. They were YīngTù’s parents, and their actions were revolutionary to the Líng household. In the long-run they knew it wouldn’t last, but they kept their minds off it by staying in the present. The couple’s first ‘illegitimate’ child took after the mother’s appearance; blue hair with a matching pair of eyes, she was beautiful. As she grew, her appearance only increased in elegance and was the envy of peering eyes. Hǎidié was her name and it was fitting. Nine years later, their second child was born; this one was YīngTù and she fitted inside more of the normal appearance of the Sinians. Brown hair, brown eyes — her size was extremely small as an infant, thanks to a premature birth, so accordingly they named her. Their immediate family wasn’t big, but it was perfect to the couple, including the grandmother of the children who was fond of them. For five years, she was nurtured and cherished inside her family, almost to the point of being spoiled. At a young age, no one expects for their life to change any time soon; listening to her grandmother’s stories, being encouraged by her father, learning from her mother, and getting into trouble with her sister. A typical early childhood. However, it did and all in one night, unbeknownst to the slumbering child. Memories are a fickle concept for a young child; foggy, unreliable, and forgotten usually. The whole ordeal was a missing puzzle piece in her mind, as she was no longer in a place one would call home. The Country of the Long Rivers was no longer her home, YīngTù now took residence on a ship that was headed to an unknown location far away from her homeland. Confusion and sadness was evident as she woke up to the rising sun and couldn’t find her mother anywhere. The woman who taught her everything from good and bad, rules, objects, to even about her own self; was now gone. No one would answer about the whereabouts of her mother, considering the circumstances it must have been heartbreaking to ignore the pleas of the child. Everyone was different — her grandmother no longer told stories of ancient folklore, her father was distant and grieving, her sister had hidden scars and she couldn’t understand why. Everything she barely even had a grasp of was gone; even her name, appearance, and the language she was only beginning to speak. The identity of YīngTù was gone and in her place was Rini. It was difficult at first, but she grew accustomed to the sea life; going from boat to boat, making money to pay for the next one, and the consumption of a lot of seafood. Growing to accept she’ll never know what happened to her mother, and has grown accustomed to her absence. Then the day came, they’ve finally reached Fiore’s north shores, after twelve years on the great ocean. It was a different atmosphere from her homeland and not on the sea; this was the place, her new home. Rini didn’t know how to go about this sudden new change, so she quietly and obediently followed her sister’s footsteps. From living in Orchidia in the Rinmizukimi Manor where the owner was never around to applying into a guild called Blue Pegasus. Not really sure if she can ever truly belong, it’s like she’s homesick for a place that doesn’t even exist. |
