“I’m beginning to regret this decision.” Falon’Din says to himself as he walks down the streets of Magnolia Town with a stack of fliers in his hand. Both he and Valendrian were still going about their quest to obtain enough jewels to make their way to the Marchen Mountains. The two of them had been working various quests all day and had decided that it would be best to split up for today and tackle requests separately. Knowing of his aversion to dealing with humans, Valendrian gave Falon’Din the quests with the least amount of human interaction possible. He did, however, add a few that would directly have him in contact with people as he figured that it would be good for his master to test out his skills. Though irritated, Falon’Din was accepting of this and started to begin the first quest on the list, advertising for a local bathhouse.

“This is the place.” the elf says with a smile on his face as he arrives at South Gate Park. In a town as busy and as bustling as Magnolia was, it was soothing to see that a place dedicated to nature was there. He stood mystified as he took in the beauty of the landscape around him. The children running around. Everyone was enjoying nature as everything should be. The Athlas Elf takes in the sights a little while longer before snapping back to reality, realizing that he had a job to do. He quickly looks around and finds a bulletin board where he quickly places a couple fliers on. “I guess that place is next.” Falon’Din says with a hint of disdain in his voice. The next location was the Guildhall of Fairy Tail. While he had no quarrel with Fairy Tail in general or any of its mages, he did have a problem with the concept of guilds. A guild was responsible for the fall of his village, his sealing, and another secret he hoped to keep from Valendrian. Taking a deep sigh, Falon’Din heads to the location, eager to get it over with quickly.

Before long, Falon’Din finds himself near the massive guildhall, the home of the guild known as Fairy Tail. His eyes dart back and forth as he sees people around the area. His arm begins to twitch as he quickly places the fliers underneath his arm and uses his now free hand to cover it. He quickly glances around, finding a bulletin board not far from where he was. “Steady…” he mumbles to himself as he moves forward, his eyes locked on the board. He places a few fliers on the board and hurriedly departs before he attracts any attention. As he gets to where he believes is a safe distance, he sighs and takes a moment to regulate his breathing. “One more location..” he says as he makes his way back to where everything started in Magnolia Town, the bakery. When he arrives, he peers inside and sees everyone just as preoccupied with their work as they were when the two elves first arrived. As the elder elf contemplates on how to go about placing the fliers, the door opens and a woman steps out. “Oh, you must be the older elf that Valendrian mentioned. He said that you might be by to put up some fliers for Ms. Bella. Feel free to place them on the window.” She smiles and heads back inside, the elder elf quickly thanking his comrade for his trouble. He does as intended and heads back to the bathhouse where he accepts his pay and the extra reward of a special bath for his troubles.
