Vex once again found herself with a request to heal more people and to attempt to not let them die on her watch and so she once again enlisted her close friend that she could trust in Averie and she goes to the point that she had agreed on to meet up with Averie at and she had brought some of her cultists in plan clothes to help as well as guard and so this time they will not get so over whelmed as they had last time when they had come and attempted to help tend to the sick and the injured here as they were trying to think of how to do this and how not to end up with it being a dead end for them as some of the people that hired them had seemed to have been watching them and Vex wasn't sure how she would feel about someone trying to capture one or both of them to torture for info or to get to spill something or turn on the other.

Vex can see the place that they will be working at today and she hoped that it was not just a set up to lure them into a false sense of security. She wants to help people but she also knows the risks of helping people here make it dangerous as there are people that seemed to just be waiting for someone to slip up and she knows that in their eyes Averie is a walking answer to some of their problems as she can raise the dead and use them to help her, which Vex thinks would be a pretty decent reason that these people may double cross them and take Averie to try and learn the powers that she might hold and be able to use that they can get their hands on to use how ever they please but Vex would protect this woman no matter what she had to do to be able to do it.

They were back at it and Averie did not seem to mind, She just needed to not to seem overly weird to have it in her mind to think about the idea of her being what she was known for here to heal people, But she had studied pretty hard and reviewed so many notes. Between that she ran the figurative situations in her mind over and over again to assure herself that nothing that could go wrong here would happen, But that was just wishful thinking and not actual planning for in some manner one had to expect so many things to never happen the ways they intended too. But Averie no matter what was ready for this situation and challenge she had to be more than ready after all she knew this situation would happen again. So she told herself it would happen again when she had not entire way of annoying at all.


Thus arriving when she needed too for this matter Averie seemed to be almost her normal and at ease way at this time. others would still see the cold stiff stare of Averie looking upon many things as she normally world before she came to join the fray of solving medical problems, But this was with Vex who was good and able to manage Averie's strangeness in the matter she had shown and how she worked before. so hopefully it had all worked in the same manner as she thought, But as long as Averie did not think too in depth about the mission.

After all it was just healing people it was not that stressful just repeat things shown and written down before. Then Averie seemed to quickly review her notes before quickly closing her book that was entirely just simple quick notes and seemed ready now.

Carla swooped down from looking around the place for anything that looked sketchy or like might be in some form trouble and she had seen nothing to say that they would be trying anything. Carla landed and she looked at vex and tells her that she had seen nothing and that means that they should be okay to go inside and help the poor sick and injured people that were inside of the building but she still wants them to exercise caution while in there as they might be walking right into the lions den as this island is one of many different techs and things. "You ready Averie?" Vex asked as she started to walk into the building as rather they were ready or not they had to get themselves into the building and try to get to work on healing the sick and injured people waiting for them and she grabbed a bag with supplies in it and Carla transforms and follows here as well as the cultists in plain clothes that will be also helping today.

The cultists didn't really stand out and they kept their selves low as they grabbed stuff to help them in the healing and dealing with the sick and they seemed to be more to handling the worse off people that were closer to death so vex and Averie only have to deal with the less damaged and sick ones so Averie will not be over whelmed or vex need to try and have to step in and let Averie do her own thing as she trusted in Averie to be able to handle the lesser damaged and sick as Averie seemed to be a quick learner. Vex goes to her space and starts handing out meds then gets to treating the injuries that the people that were coming in had and doing her best with the bandages and other things that she had at her disposal for the moment and she hoped that Carla and Averie were also being able to handle the people that they got as she knows her cultists that she brought can handle themselves.

It was not starting time to say, Averie had been in fact really prepared for the things to come Averie, almost had to ponder almost looking at herself in some kind of reflective surface for a moment, wondered if looking like her skin was almost as pale as a ghost was going to make these people worry about death and if it was coming for them or not. But that was Averie worrying about these things internally while being able to focus at the task at hand. But she was entirely determine to not mess it up even with her look.

So when she was asked when she was ready she did actually speak."Yes, I am."She now seemed some what confident in herself about this situation. With Vex's help this matter would surely go off with out a problem. She had the right people and the right help at the time here. Not even paying attention to consider the cult that could also be around. After all Averie never really paid attention to the cult or really know it was entirely there. She merely forgets most of them most of the time because of how little she saw them.

Averie quickly got to work repeating the thing she learned form last time and almost doing it perfectly with out a second thought. Averie seemingly had taken a lot of effort in time to help these people, It seemed her determination side from nercomancy applied to more things and she wanted to prove that it was not all horrible to be around her. Plus she did not want to let Vex down either. That might also be a case since Vex never really thought her any different, these bonds where always nice since it was just the way life should be for all.

Vex looked over and watched the necromancer working hard to get the job done and she was not cutting corners so she had to admit that she was proud that the woman had started to take it into her own and not have to just lean of others all the time and she wonders if there is a way that they can make this all work better or if they are at the prime of what they can do for the time being and she looked around at these simple people and she wondered what kind of place this was and if she really thought that this was all real or something else as one of her cultist walked up to her and whispered to her about the people being weird and highly infected with things that didn't seem very human and there was tech in their skins and Vex wondered if these were fake people.

Vex tells them to get back to work and she goes back to helping get some of Carla's line moving and she wondered if there was a way that she could get through this all or if this was all some kind of perverse testing place and these people didn't have a choice that they were here and that they are more or less forced to get hurt and test limits and that is not a good thing for the woman to think about as the more that she thought about it the madder she got about it as who treats people like this and harms them in such a manner that they need to be sewn back together but she knows that this island is run different with it's own set of rules and regulations that she couldn't even attempt to try and fight against so for now she keeps healing them and wondering how deep this runs and how much she will have to do to expose it.

Here work had paid off everything seemed to be going off with out problem at least up front anyway. No one showed signs of anything being off that Averie could pick up that would show her that was a problem. Averie hated to be clueless so details was super important to her at the time. But since Vex did not bring up anything being wrong it was not important to Averie to figure out and talk about.

But if anything noting the change of flesh and metal was interesting but something Averie knew was risky for the reason of risking major infections. So Averie summoned another ghost to take note of this matter. After all it she was not a doctor but she knew and had over all idea that with how rough this was done, she had to wonder how effective treatment was going to be.

Then again many thoughts where going towards how this was all starting to happen in the first place. Was this something willing or forced? why reasons where their for it? It seemed all kind of dangerous and risky for the health of people here. Alas she was not here to judge only help.

But the ghost as it seemed to take note seemed to move around like it was talking to Averie about the things it saw at this time. Most likely talking about how these changes to the human body where dangerous and risky to a person and would only cause unfixable damage to a person. In which Averie seemed to agree with it and continue on working away as people as she was here. She had not spoken much because of focusing on work. But there was ever lingering thoughts about this place feeling odd to her and how things like what she sees is dangerous.

Vex having cleared out Carla's line has her start running around supplies to herself and the others and making sure that Carla doesn't fall behind on it as she needed to make sure that she didn't let them run out as this was a very important time and she knows they have no time to waste as some of these people probably only had the fleeting moments that they were waiting for help to be administered to them Vex was a strong woman and she knew that she needed to not let them down or her team down and he had already felt like she had let them down a little by not realizing that she needed someone running supplies and things around to the others as she had been laser focused on the things going on in front of her but not the dangers and risks that she was letting happen around her and the group as they healed the citizens that needed them.

Vex had made sure to keep the stations clean and ready for farther use as she knows that she can't risk getting more people sick than were already sick and in need of them to keep going and bailing them out. Vex redoubles her efforts and gives Averie a pat on the back as she passed her as she was doing well and really showing that she was good under pressure as they had done a lot today and it was nearly time to be done and he wondered what the woman thought of their efforts here on the island and if she was proud of herself. "How do you feel you are doing Averie?" She did in fact ask as she needed to know the woman's feelings so that she could figure out if she should keep inviting Averie to come out and do this so she doesn't feel like she is going forced to come and help with these.

A good question to ask it might be, Over all Averie was doing okay and fine just. Just found this situation still interesting and complex as it went on. It was a good question to ask, When asked however the ghost Averie summoned poofed away. Since each thing Averie summoned a willing person who agreed, They had their own personality this one was either a person scared easily in their past lives or a really shy person. one of the two. But unless asked about it Averie would not really mention anything about this ghost.

But she would finally answer her question think up how she wanted to say about it."I would like to say, I am doing well."The ghost then poof back and looked around like it had gotten use it's fear at the moment. Then after looking around the ghost just stayed floating above Averie's head. Almost like it was looking around and watching."I just find the people here and why we are treating, much like the last time we did thing....perplexing."Most likely the idea and means of fusing machine and flesh even if crude was still a bit too weird for Averie.

She at least tended to admit it. and was not shy about it. But at least she was still trying and keeping at it her work."Better question to ask, is how long have these experiments been going on?"That was a pretty basic question Averie could easily branch into the longest depth about how maybe metal part of the body could lead to many things lasting far beyond their possible life span if taken care of it was just many options and ideas she had in mind, It was getting a bit much currently but she was okay.

Vex looked at Averie as she asked for how long that she thought that these people had been being experimented on and she had no answer. "If I had to guess it has been a very long time as some of these peoples bodies show signs of this being some what normal for them so they grew up in it and were molded by it." Vex gets closer and she looked at the patients that were closest and she keeps taking care of them making sure to bandage and keep them from suffering too much as her cultists finish up and walk out of the place Vex helps get the last few that she had in her line out of it as she bandaged and treated their fevers giving them the meds that they had needed, Carla flies over and drops down on her shoulder fully tired from the long day of helping people that they had just done. Vex goes and collects the payment and gives Averie her due payment.

It was an answer but one Averie still was not over all happy about the idea of this situation happening. Necromancy even if unnatural did not go as far as this it almost felt wrong and careless in some manner."Maybe this is just far more different than i expected."It seemed in some manner that Averie had started to think a few other things. It ranged from why this was needed to if this kind of life style and means of work, To how could this help advance nercomancey it was a darker thought but Averie would not lie if asked about it that she had thought about it.

But she did not want to ever say that aloud, After all she knew this manner was extremely cruel and painful i which no person over all should be subjected too. But for now their time here was complete and she was okay with that. They had helped when they could and the best they could. Over all it does just seem like a normal continuing thing, But they where done now and helped,

They would move on to other things now, In which was pretty simple they would move on to getting paid for the things they did here, But as they moved on she would most likely get her mind off of it. The payment was fine it was a job over all and it was something kept in mind was that might be too far gone for the events here to even be changed. It was an interesting shift from the snow covered lands of iceberg. There was no culture shock over all any more. Just accepting of the differences of places.
