WeaponHouse Celdrua "Alone we shall stand, alone we shall prosper." The House of Celdrua is a very, very old family name, stemming back thousands of years. There are few Elven families that have existed "In the beginning" that still exist today and the Celdruans are one of them. Having always been ahead of their class, they are widely known throughout the Elven community for being diplomatic, ambitious, magically talented explorers whose money never runs thin. From hunting and trading, to financing for others, Wealth has never escaped this house, even before jewels existed as the primary form of currency. Celdrua's are prestigious, prideful and will always find a seat at the table. The fact that their status has remained the same since this houses inception has led others to believe that the Celdrua's are opportunists or selfish. It'd be a lie to say that in some fashion that isn't true. The house used to be split between 2 households; the Head Household and the Branch Household. The Head Household were known as the purebloods, meaning they often interbred to produce offspring. What truly mades a Celdrua a member of the Head Household is their ability to use Magic. In some cases Celdrua's who were born to two elves without the affinity for magic would often find themselves apart of the Head Household. Despite this split, both the Branch and the Head have had a very positive relationship. The Branch believed in this very old Celdrua dynamic and they also believed that it didn't determine ones power. The daughter of the Patriarch, Aleja Celdrua, eventually brought them together under the idea that they would fare well against the evils of the world if they stood truly united. After centuries upholding what many saw as a sacred tradition, the two branches merged, erasing the dichotomy and becoming one. House Celdrua continues to hold onto the old ways of Elven tradition and often worship and praise the Linea Gods. It isn't uncommon, however, for a Celdrua to be dedicated to the religion of Illumin. Both religions are well respected amongst the Celdruan household. While they tend to be very in tune with their spirituality, religion isn't at the forefront of their house dynamic. They put each other and the future of the family first. Since the beginning, Celdruans have always appreciated what it meant to be an Elf. They recognize only the ruler of Athalran as their one true monarch and the North's Warden as their Lord. The House of Celdrua is also very populated, almost always having more than 200 living members at a time, Most of whom have become quite famous or have lived for hundreds of years. Politics Kingdom: The House of Celdrua once recognized King Reign as their ruler, however, now that they are located in the North they recognize the Warden of the North as their leader. They still primarily serve under Athenra The Everqueen, for they recognize the Everqueen as the ruler of all elves and Athalran. House System: House Celdrua used to be split between a main household and a Branch household before @Aleja brought them together and erased the dichotomy. Now House Celdrua is one Household. The Patriarch leads the household, and the Second is his second in command, stepping in when the Patriarch is way. Religion: The House primarily worships Illumin and the Linea gods. Some believe that the Linea gods are essential to their survival but that Illumin is the one who created the creator Elven god, as taboo as it sounds. Primarily, the Celdrua's worship the Linea gods and still acknowledge Illumin's existence. Religion doesn't play a big role in the Celdrua household.
