Poropo was tasked by Father Jerad to hand out medicine once more - last time the medicine was made from a rare flower the monk collected. What this new medicine was made from did not matter to the monk so long as he was able to do the job he came here for and help Father Jerad. In fact, the monk cared more about helping Father Jerad and would make sure he was not rewarded much of anything - the monk earned enough from jobs which also increased the Contract on his head, so helping Father Jerad for a measly sum was only to eat for a day.

Poropo walked around the cathedral and attempted to give as many people medicine as he could. Some made a fuss about taking any sort of medicine, as expected, but once they saw those near them taking the medicine without little to no fuss, then Poropo was able to continue his job effortlessly. The hardest part was choosing who got medicine first and who to save for later - the monk did not have an endless supply of medicine to dole out after all which made him worry and mumbled to himself, "I hope I do no run out of medicine today - Father Jerad works hard to keep this community thriving so to see these people sick must be heartbreaking..."

The monk waddled from person to person in order to give only the amount of medicine he needed to give - anymore would be wasteful, believed Poropo, for more than just one person needed the medicine. The monk tried his best to ration!

The monk and priest went around the whole cathedral and made sure as many people were able to get alleviation from their horrible disease. Thinking of the disease, the monk was unsure of how the disease is meant to spread - some people were coughing while others were sneezing more than a normal person would. If the monk was not careful, he would become diseased as well which would not be good in the long term - the less people able to help cure the disease, the worse the disease would spread around town! The monk approached Father Jerad after handing out as much medicine as he could and asked, "Father Jerad, should I be worrying about catching this disease?"

"No, Kind Monk - this disease is a strange one which spreads through direct methods such as sharing food and drink. The people here today are family members, friends of friends, and those who like to be social - you have nothing to worry about," responded Father Jerad, but continued with, "however, you have met many people today - take this parcel I made for you and the reward - thank you for your help, as usual." Poropo was paid and given medicine at the same time! Father Jerad thought of everything and knew the monk well enough - the disease was not as contagious as the monk first believed, but in case the disease changed the monk was kindly given medicine for himself.
