With each passing day that Antoinette was in Era, her connections to people with more connections grew. She was getting especially close with those in the Rune Knights which she decided she wanted to join. It was of course unfortunate for her that she was a vampire. There was clear discrimination of her kind and others that were perceived to be " dangerous races ". I mean sure they might have been more or less right about that but still to be so blatant wasn't winning them any rewards. She had to learn that for her to even be able to join their ranks she would need quite a bit of fame, showing the world she's not as bad as the stereotypes make her kind out to be. That of course meant taking on a lot of quests to show the world how good she was and helping people without draining them dry, or at least not get caught doing it. Antoinette didn't mind this, she was used to playing the long game so if she had to put in the work to get to where she wanted she wasn't going to fight against it. With that being said she already had another quest to complete. She was lucky enough that it was during the night hours too, as she very much enjoyed not being in the sun, it irritated her skin you know.

Tonight apparently she would be reporting into a man named Marwin Awedin who was a Lieutenant in the Rune Knights. That was her goal and to surpass that, becoming a Lieutenant, no one would dare question most of your actions. Her mouth watered at the thought but she straightened up once she was in sight of Marwin. Once the two locked eyes Marwin's face turned into a scowl, she knew that he knew she was a vampire.

Typical...Dirty human. She knew he was judging her but that didn't matter now, what mattered was her getting her task done.

I suppose you are the help that I was informed about. Your task is simple. We got some reports about zombies in the area, mostly out in those woods behind us. We already have a team out and scouting but we need more eyes, which should be perfect for someone like you. Anyway don't engage with anything you find, just report back here. Marwin's tone was condescending, to say the least, but it didn't rattle Antoinette. With the information she got she set off. The woods were deep and dark but she could see through that. It did in fact make her job much easier. As she walked she made sure she was careful in not to be seen. Her footsteps couldn't be heard so her position wouldn't be given away from her sound. She had to have been out there for about an hour before she stumbled on some cultist who were up to no good. She decided to report this back to Marwin because they were definitely summoning those zombies.
Returning to Marwin she told him everything from the statue to the cultist and left nothing out before he rewarded her and she was on her way.
