Big Bro Akabo: An enforcer for one of the most prominent criminal elements in Hosenka, Akabo has been doing this sort of work for a long time. Despite not having been promoted a single time in years, Akabo is a consummate professional and a hands on manager. As an old hat, Akabo has seen everything in this business, and very little surprises him anymore; not the sheer idiocy of tourists, nor the ruthlessness that’s expected of mobsters like himself.

Summary: Akabo has sent out a request to meet to discuss his next move now that Miss Fukuro has agreed to support his bid to grab more influence. His message details a meeting location you’ve yet to use with Akabo, and to wait patiently until he arrives. Considering his typically upfront dealings to this point, the departure from the norm seems suspicious, but caution is certainly warranted at this point.

Enemies:
Mob 'o Mobsters: A group of hitmen sent by Kurobo to remove what he sees as a thorn in his side. Individually they aren't very intimidating for a B-Rank mage, but together they are a serviceable threat. The group consists out of eight underlings.

Objective: Its an ambush! Your only objective is to survive and inform Akabo of his rival's most recent move.

Details:

  • Make a topic in Crimson Quarter.
  • Arrive at the location specified in the message.
  • After waiting as instructed, the Mob 'o Mobsters show up, revealing that the message was a fake.
  • Survive the ambush; wipe them out or escape.
  • Find Akabo and inform him of Kurobo's underhanded effort to arrange your death.
  • Receive compensation from Akabo for the trouble.
