Shimura Shigaraki †
Shimura leaned against a nearby wall near the main gate to the beautiful, albeit, quiet city of Era. In his hand was a case orders given to him by Marwin Awedin, an older rune-knight that had achieved the rank of lieutenant. A noble but age man, Shimura found the Lieutenant’s loyalty and concern for the nation refreshing. Looking through the file, it seems that this usually peaceful town was having a bit of a problem with the undead. Apparently, there were troubling reports that some zombies had been amassing and organizing, which was unusual. The lieutenant was concern that a large threat could be at large, seeing that zombies don’t naturally amass in groups. It was a logical concern, and one that Shimura agreed to check into. The threat of a zombie assault was not one that should go lightly, honestly, Shimura was just happy that he would soon be able to show off his skills.

Folding the orders into a little square, Shimura tucked them into the pocket of his happi and waited for darkness to arrive. Since most of the rumors and reports centered around nighttime, he’d figure it would have been fruitless to explore the forest in the middle of the day (as tempting as it was). With the moonlight as his only guide Shimura entered into the dark and eerie forest all by his lonesome self. He’d figured that having some back up would ruin his scouting ability and make it easier for someone to detect him. As time passed by and the moon started to rise higher into the night sky, Shimura started to wonder if the reports were false and this was all just a waste of his time.

Shimura had climbed one of the many trees when the moon was at its highest peak. Just when he was starting to think that this was indeed a huge waste of time, he could hear the faint moaning of an undead. Sliding down onto the ground, Shimura followed the sound and carefully listened for any fainter groaning sounds. But what he heard was something a little more terrible, as he walked through the forest under the darkness of night, Shimura could hear what sounded to be chanting of some sorts alongside moaning from the undead. Using the bushes as a way to hide himself, Shimura followed the sound until he at last arrived at the seen of the crime. Climbing up a tree, Shimura could see a group of robbed figures surrounding a pagan statue with undead surrounding them.

A firm smile had crept its way onto Shimura’s face as he took a few minutes to observe the cultist. They were raising the undead with their foul magic, and needless to say Shimura was happy that something interesting was fixing to happen. He quietly slithered down the tree and through the forest to the gate. Shimura quickly searched for the Lieutenant so that he could inform him as to what was happening. When Shimura finally found him he told him everything about a group of cultist raising the undead, of course, the Lieutenant wasn’t too happy about this discover but he rewarded and thank Shimura.
