ManaEven with the nearly 4 months he had spent in Orchidia, Fujaku hadn’t scene a sight like this before. The massive plant stretched so high into the sky that its tip was obscured by the cloud cover above. It was impressive, to say the least. In Joya there were stories of plants like this growing to impossible heights and touching the very heavens themselves, allowing the Gods to come to Joya and the mortals to pray at their feet and give offerings, or for great heroes to ascend and attempt to steal the golden fruits and elixirs of immortality. He had always thought of these to be things of an older era, one he would never see. Yet, now here he saw it with his very eyes as he rode behind the man named Konstantin.
The horse he rode was a chestnut color, nothing special, just a simple aid to get from town to town. Now that they were with Lord Nerva they needed to be mobile, but to say the horse was a pure breed would be a lie. It was fine enough for travel, and it would do its job well enough. Fujaku looked around the path as they made their way toward the town. He looked at the treetops, still foreign to him. before turning toward Kon to speak. “This Quest… Is it wise? Perhaps a spirit from above have decided to come down to earth and see the people who pray to it. Or perhaps a great hero has climbed the tree. If we cut it down it could have dangerous after effects. I think we should take stock of what has happened within the town before we simply… destroy this plant. Do you not think so as well?” he had a hard time remembering certain words, destroy being one of them.
