Aoi Mitsurugi
Today was originally going to be one where there was nothing much to do in any way. Much or Orchidia's streets had been cleaned up from the festivities and thankfully nothing too horrible had been going on. With jut minor arguments and the occasional drunk pedestrian whom refused to be denied another drink, it was rather peaceful and calm here. It made everything all the more fun to relax with the boys and get to know the people a little more. Of course, some shared the nameless neko's hatred of the Rune Knights and the council in everything they've done to them and others, but she was hard headed and refused to sway from her own goals to change everything for the better of everyone. That in it of itself needed experience to know what anguish others have gone through. Be it something that sickened her or something that would just be mildly saddening, it mattered not the reason why, but how. How can one person fix it? She couldn't alone, and thats why she wanted friends of these people she met. Taking those with the experiences she lacked and those whom needed someone to help guide them along more. Time and patience were two things she didn't have, but she'd have to do it as best she could, no matter the reason.

The red haired Knight approached the river just near Orchidia's limits in attempts to answer the cries of a desperate sounding man. He had requested help for something from a mage, and particularly so, Aoi wanted to jump in and help in any way she could. During her approach of the river, she found a man visibly cowering behind a rock. Observing him for a moment, she found he had peeked about the corner of the rock every so often to look at something before he shot back over and wrote in a small notepad. As Aoi approached the seemingly frightened man, she squated down in front of him in partial to avoid the chance he could see up her skirt. Her arms wrapped lightly around her knees and she smiled sweetly. "Are you the Detective who asked for help?" She asked, watching him look over her up and down several times. He nodded and began to explain the situation to her. The strain and fright in his voice made her instantly take his hand and stand up. "I'll lead the way then, you just stand back and take notes for your uh.. case, then. Alright, Detective?" With a small smile, she tried to keep him on level with his delusion to avoid any case his worries were much larger than she had thought they could have been.

Headed toward the bridge over the river, the mage Knight had walked her way toward something strange. "I think I see something ahead, stay a few steps behind me." She warned, holding her hand out behind her to create some distance between the two of them. Her worry was that if thing was some sort of magical thing that would attack, she would rather see herself harmed than this already mentally ill man that for some reason nobody had come to do anything about. Putting it all to the side for the time being, Aoi had slowly walked toward the ball. As it grew more in her eyes, there was a sudden pull she had towards it. She felt this major compulsion to reach for the ball and without thinking or trying to approach the situation in another manner, she had reached out fully and touched the blue ball. In a sudden rush, she had felt herself transported almost. Looking around, everything seemed a little foggy and hard to see, but a person had been out in the distance from them. The chilled air had become harder to breathe for her, and as she took a step forward and attempt to adjust her vision to see the person, there was a force that pushed her back to reality.

With no warning, she yelped loudly almost enough to mimic a small scream as the ball of light threw her back with such force she didn't know something like that could do. The direction caused her to fly into Dex, hitting him into the wood rail on the parallel side from the side they had been at. Dazed and confused, she looked down to her arms and legs as they felt a little beat up, she found that Dex was unconscious. "H-Hey. Hey, are you ok?" She asked, shaking him lightly. He made faint noises and moved, so thankfully he wasn't dead, but it seemed a figure had come to loom over the two. As she shook her head, she discovered nobody was there. Was.. her mind playing tricks on her because she touched the ball? Grabbing his arm, Aoi pulled him up and started to carry him to the hospital to get checked out. Along the way, she had started to feel her knees getting weaker from trying to support his full weight alone. Huffing, she dropped to her knees for a moment. Suddenly, someone had approached her and tapped Aoi on the shoulder. Turning around, she noticed a rather popular figure around Orchidia and he offered his help rather suddenly. Nodding, Aoi and Dacol carried Dex to a hospital where he was placed in a room.

Unconscious for several hours, Aoi had fallen asleep in the chair near his bedside awaiting him to awaken. When she heard him stirring, she jumped up from her own slumber and yawned, smiling as he had asked about how she felt. Once they were sure of his condition in no serious danger, he rewarded her and asked her to go home and rest. Wishing him well and to get better soon, she gave a curtsy and exited the hall, making her way to her quarters to rest and tend to her own minor bruises. It had taken her a little longer to get home however, as her own bruises had started to swell up some, increasing her own difficulty to walk.
