Overall: Aurelion is a handsome young boy. His light blue hair and violet highlights adorned with his golden circlet give him an exotic type of look. His kind yellow eyes bring smiles in people's face with their sparkle. His charming smile is enough to captivate someone's heart in an instant or cheer them up when they're feeling down. He's not the tallest guy around but his elegant stature and fit body make him highly attractive. He likes wearing comfortable, elegant clothes including long sleeved shirts, gloves, silky pants, flowing robes and cloaks in shades of blue, black and purple.

Personality: Aurelion is a kind, cheerful young man with a warm smile. Life to him is a gift that should be respected and embraced with utmost love. His parents raised him with love and kindness making him able to generously offer them to the ones he thinks as friends. He values good friends like family and is protective of them. He can often take the role of a big brother even if he's younger than them, taking care of and giving them advice whenever they ask for it.

His kindness also extends to his everyday life from handling missions to small errands he offers a warm smile and tries hard to see them realised. Always polite and heartwarmingly friendly, he leaves a deep impression in people's minds.

Despite coming off as a flirtatious individual he is looking for the person that will speak to his heart and feelings, waiting patiently for that moment to arrive.

Emotions have a dominant place in Aurelion and as such he is prone to react based on his feelings and emotions at a given time rather than logic. However, he has been led to rushed conclusions a multitude of times with bad outcomes and is currently trying to keep his emotions in check when faced with serious decisions.

In battle Aurelion takes a somewhat supportive role. Through defensive and supplementary spells he tries to give his allies an advantage, however he won't hesitate to use his offensive spells as a defensive measure if he or his allies are threatened.

Likes:

Starry Sky: At nighttime and particularly when the stars and moon can be seen shining on the sky, Aurelion likes nothing more than going for a walk. During this serene time under the brilliance of those shining planets he feels truly at peace.
Singing & Dancing: Aurelion's father taught him how to sing and dance from a young age, even after him passing away Aurelion continued practicing as he found comfort in the art, a doorway to let go of his frustration and the emotions that piled up within him.
Nature: Aurelion loves nature, the blossoming flowers during spring and the delightful scents they exude captivates him as he spents time just admiring their different colors and beauty. He's a friend to animals, often seeing that they show less fear towards him than others.

Dislikes:

Fights & Arguements: Aurelion dislikes participating in fights or arguements, he will never attempt to start one and always try to find a peaceful solution through words and communication. If he is forced to fight he will stay behind his protective domes and shields while the attacker is losing the will to fight over time.
Crowded Places: Aurelion dislikes multiple noise sources -like the market- and as such he will only go there during the very early hours when people have yet to gather. He doesn't particularly mind the noise in the bars and the taverns as long as it's kept to a certain volume, and not to the point where he can't even hear his own thoughts.

Motivations:

Love: Be it love between a friend, a family member or a partner, love has a special place in Aurelion's heart. Keeping him motivated when things turn ugly he will always think of a way to protect his loved ones first.
Parents: Aurelion is constantly trying to better himself as a mage. Not being able to help neither one of his parents when they needed him the most has made him a fighter in life, striving to train his magic enough so that he can protect any and all that ask for his aid.

Fears:

Death: Aurelion doesn't fear death itself, he fears what death brings. Suddenly being cut off from life, his dreams and aspirations unfulfilled, a true love that was never given a chance, not having spent enough time with people that mattered to him. The thought of it can also drive him to his limits and make him act on instinct.

Magic Description: Cosmos is an astral type of magic, utilising the universe to allow the user to cast spells. The magic is breathtaking to watch as it involves a variety shades of blue and purple mixed with brilliant golden light. The caster can summon comets and meteors to rain down on enemies, create protective stars that revolve around allies, buff his own strength through cosmic power and cast supportive spells to help himself and his allies in various situations.

History

History: Aurelion grew up in a loving family, his parents showed kindness and cared for one another raising him with those qualities in mind. Aurelion became a cheerful young boy, he would study literature, art, practice singing and dancing with his father during the day and then at night his mother would take him to one of the hills located near their house to look at the starry sky. Aurelion was mesmerized by the stars and the moon, their serene light made him feel calm and warm inside as he laid on the hill with his mother. She taught him the constellations and the planets and how he could find his way in the night by looking at the sky, the night sky was a map and Aurelion was captivated by it.

At the age of thirteen he lost his father during a quest to chase away some shady characters that appeared in the town at night causing trouble, despite him being able to accomplish it the fates had a different plan in mind. Those people belonged to a dark guild and as his father was forced to fight and was able to succesfully defeat the three of them, a curse was cast on him as one of the members drew his last breath taking Aurelion's father with him. The dark guild having caught word of what occured and who was to blame tried to assasinate Aurelion and his mother, unsuccesfully so as his mother was an astromancer and brought down the wrath of the stars upon them. Flashes of golden light, purple and blue dust and the screams of the dark guild members as they were being crashed down by the meteors, Aurelion was scared but at the same time amazed by what his mother achieved. The same night of the assasination attempt the two of them packed their bags and left for a different town, they had to hide so they would live in peace.

A few years passed with the two family members having settled in their new home, Aurelion now at sixteen was working at the local bakery and his mother was handling mage quests so they could live a somewhat comfortable life. From the day they left their old home Aurelion asked his mother to teach him how to use the magic of the stars, having seen the gift inside him as well she agreed to train him in her free time.

Despite their efforts to conceal their true identity the remaining members of the dark guild eventually caught wind of the family's whereabouts, they were seeking revenge and they had their mind set on getting it. One night as Aurelion and his mother were under the night sky looking at the stars she saw a vision, men in black cloaks surrounding them, her hands were tighted and was laughed at, her son was lying unconscious near her a wound bursting with blood on his head, she wept and wept and the laughter was getting even louder and more paranoid, she screamed for help. At that moment her sight returned, her gaze was once more on the shining stars and Aurelion was resting beside her.

Almost a week passed that the two of them set out on a trip, Aurelion heard of the vision and was worried during this whole time, he had no idea where they were going and his mother didn't seem like she was going to talk anytime soon. As they found themselves in front of an abandoned old manor he saw his mother's eyes tear up, this was the place of her childhood. She took Aurelion in the interior and down a hidden door to a chamber with two altars, on one a golden circlet and on the other a golden necklace with a light blue stone. She explained that these were left behind for the heirs of the family, the necklace for the girl and the circlet for the boy. Cosmos, Aurelion's family's magic allowed for vast use of the stars but if the caster's knowledge and magical prowess wasn't enough it would require part of the caster's life force each time a spell was cast, and these heirlooms made sure that this drawback became void, however his mother was certain there was a deeper truth hidden inside them. She gave the circlet to Helios and wore the necklace herself, they were getting ready for a fight.

As they stepped outside of the manor they found themselves surrounded by the dark guild members. The battle was raging, spells were being fired towards every direction. A dark bolt suddenly hit Aurelion's mother, she let out a cry and fell on the ground, he immediately run to her side -they laughed-, she wasn't going to accept this ending. Asking Aurelion to take off her necklace she turned to the sky with her hand reaching out for it, her eyes flared up with a golden light as a brilliant light came down from the stars burning each dark cloaked guy into cinders. With her final breath she pleaded Aurelion to live a fulfilling life, she was proud of him as was his father, and as a final favor she asked of him to wear the necklace and find out all that he can about the two items. Aurelion promised her he would through his tears and grieved for weeks.

Four years later, the twenty year old boy is living his life as a mage handling requests from the boards and spending some nights bartending at the local bar as his quest for the two heirlooms continues.
