Below her frontal fringe is mostly visible a wide and stern-looking gaze, making her seem at first the demanding and condescending kind of individual. Completing the rest of her princess-like, heart-shaped pale mug is a small nose and thin lips. In terms of physique, the young Vollan looks nothing more nothing less than frail and fragile. Yet, looks might often deceive you and she's not an exception. Due to her father's strict training regime, she has become certainly stronger than most girls around her age. While being as modest as possible is rather important to her, Agnes is most of the times seen wearing garments of academic type, thus shirts with short sleeves and medium skirts allowing especially the skin around her legs to be exposed, finishing with loafers of whatever tone she desires to take for the day. ⚔ PERSONALITY ⚔ While she might appear to be at first your typical condescending brat and respond to you in a tone of such type, deep within, the girl is a kind soul. One could say she's testing you first before actually proceeding to further develop whatever ship of sorts is desirable. Once you gain her trust, once you gain her faith, then sooner than later, Agnes will begin to treat you like she'd treat any other closed one, with as much care as she can deliver. She's also not selfish about her own goals, wanting to join the Rune Knights, not only to protect her family and friends, but also to protect the lives of other people, those residing in Fiore. Not only did the academy teach her such, but her parents are still the biggest part at shaping her into the individual she presents to be now. Humble, modest and polite are also words which describe the young Vollan. She understands the kind of position she's in, how old she is, comparing that to people of higher ranks or ages. And through that she respects whoever deserves it, be it the elderly or her superiors. Agnes is also quite the dutiful and proud knight, wanting to always fulfill her tasks to the maximum of her abilities, refusing to ever say 'no', hold back or go back on a mission, but most of all declines not completing an assignment of whatever type, even if it might go against her beliefs. Due to that, Agnes might also be considered a reckless and naive teenager, unable to fully make her own choices and almost instantly agreeing with those of others as long as they sound well to her, which clearly has a chance of leading to disaster. She is also the kind of person to get easily distracted, more often than not forgetting about any not so relevant possessions, ultimately leaving them behind. ⚔ HISTORY ⚔ Agnes was born to a married couple, Gottfrid and Isabella Vollan, in a small house somewhere within North Fiore, on November 23rd of the year of X773. The birth went as one would normally expect, filled with happiness and good health. Since then, the girl has been living a rather peaceful childhood, yet still at times strict whilst she aged more and more due to her father's admiration of strong women, thus wanting to make her daughter one by training her almost every single day and night. While also at times demanding, her mother has always been the kind and gentle housewife of the family, taking part in helping Agnes build up a strong personality for any future endeavors. It was until one day, through her father's training, that she had discovered what kind of magical abilities she possessed. Whilst doing a focusing exercise, by keeping her eyes on a single object as it moved faster than her eye could see, the girl ended up able to somehow stop it in its tracks through what appeared to be telekinesis. At first, Agnes and her father had turned skeptical, until she turned her head to the latter and accidently smashed that same object against the side of his head. The moment she removed her focus was the moment that same object dropped on the ground. It didn't take long for them to realize why she could do such, as those same magic capabilities derived from her late maternal grandmother. Little did she know that a tragic event had happened to her family when she was just three years old. She merely found out after asking her father, remembering she had met a cousin of hers during that time and wondering why so many years were spent with that same person, that person's name being Alisa. She learned that the latter's mother had died and her father, Ingmar, had left her with Gottfrid, being Agnes' father, where she was also trained in a similar manner. She was told about the robbery that killed her cousin's mother and ruined her father, about the relation between her father and Alisa's father, and other important matters. In the end, it motivated Agnes to chase the same career of her father, to become even more excelled in her magic and be able to protect those that can't protect themselves, especially those close to her. To prevent the same thing that happened to her cousin, after losing a parent. After leaving the Rune Knights' academy, she had finally joined its ranks, putting a beginning to her own promising and bright journey, at the same time hoping to reunite with her cousin. |
