Rishi walked around, trying to find the place where she could finally find what she traveled for. Of course, she didn't know what she was looking for, but she did know that it was going to be something that played a big role in her life, something that would change everything. She wandered around the streets until she felt what she had been feeling before but much stronger, so she stopped and sat down, waiting for what would come next. She put Venus in her lap and looked around, seeing if anyone or anything would show up. It was pretty odd that she would follow her heart all the way to the other side of Fiore, but she knew, she just knew that something was here. She could see colorless flowers, small people, and empty shops. Her face was stone cold, as it had been for the past week or so. She has no idea what was wrong with her. She used to be able to see the world in vivid color, but now everything seemed so dull and grey, and her mood was always so sad. Maybe this would bring her back to life, maybe this thing that brought her here was the thing that she was looking for, maybe the emptiness in her heart would finally be filled, and she would be able to see color again.

Of course today had to be one of the coldest days of the week. For a fire mage like Jeremiah, the cold wasn't as hard to deal with around this time of the year. Around December was when he didn't like stepping foot outside of his home. Today though, as the sun beamed directly over the town of Oak and people walked about handling their business, the Savannian just happened to be walking. No mission in mind or destination to meet...just walking. The day before he had finally obtained his grandfather's Panther ring so he was feeling more than accomplished today. It wasn't easy getting the item either, but in the end he was able to unlock some more of the power that dwelled within him. It was ironic really how he was considered to be one of the top mages in his guild, yet he was still learning his magic. With his hands in his pocket and a scarf around his neck, he glanced over as he strolled, eyes meeting with a white haired girl's who sat on the bench beside him for a slight moment. Turning his head to face forward again, he kept walking. What to do...what to do...

The grey haired girl had been looking around, though her eyes made it look like she wasn't looking around at all, just looking empty. Just then though she had started to burn up, and she couldn't understand why. Her heart had started beating very fast, and she had no idea what to do. She could feel the thing getting closer, and once a man walking by looked at her for the slightest moment, her heart skipped a beat. Was he the thing she came all the way out here for? It was quite a bit odd that she traveled across Fiore for this... man, but if this is what she came for, then she wasn't going to let this chance get away. "Uhm... Excuse me?" she said, her head slightly tilting and her hand now stroking Venus' soft curls. "It looks like you know your way around here... would you mind showing me around?" She didn't know what she was doing anymore. The words just came out without her thinking about it, and that wasn't a good thing. Her eyes glimmered in the light, and all she had to do was just hope for a fleeting second that the man would turn around and talk to her.

"Hm?" A voice from the direction of the woman he glanced at called out to him. The Phantom stopped dead in his tracks before turning the face the woman who spoke. Now that he was able to fully realize that she existed he noticed the animal that rested under hand as she petted it. The woman's long white hair complimented the winter season. Like Joan and Lilja however, this woman had a different type of beauty. It seemed like lately the unvierse was introducing him to all these beautiful women including Thorn, it never failed. There was no reason for him to complain though, he was in a good mood and he honestly did enjoy meeting new people. The girl asked him if he would mind showing her round since he looked like he knew where he was going. With a friendly smile he responded. "Oh sure, why not?" He slowly took a few steps towards the girl. "Just out here visiting Oak?" he asked with an eyebrow raised. He caught himself raising an eyebrow way too often but he couldn't help it. It was something he did when something peaked his interest, even if it was only a little interesting. The pet she held reminded him of the pet Audrey had - just a little. Who was this woman though?

The girl's eyes showed a sign of happiness. She couldn't express it with her mouth, but her eyes said it all. She was happy that he had turned around, and she could feel something warm inside her forming, and the feeling was kind of tingly. She liked it, and she sort of didn't want it to go away. He had asked her if she had been just visiting, and she really didn't really know what to say. Should she tell the truth? Or should she lie and say she was just visiting? "Well... not exactly visiting. Something brought me here, a feeling. I don't really know how to explain it, but I guess, to put it bluntly, my heart told me to come here," she said quietly as she stood up, placing Venus on the floor "My name is Rishi, nice to meet you." A slight smile came across her face as she stuck her hand out for a handshake. Was this the person she came out here for? She kept thinking as she talked to the man. He was a bit... different. And a whole lotta cute. The complexion of his face was flawless and his skin looked sun-kissed, and it truly was amazing.

Jeremiah chuckled at what the girl said. A feeling brought her here... "A feeling" It was only a bit funny because it was rather Fairy Tail-ish? Fairies were all so warm and cuddly, believing in the power of friendship and following their heart, much like Rishi's reason for coming to Oak. However he did realize that people believed heavily in intuition, even he was one to react off of instinct and emotion. Sometimes it was a dangerous thing to do but others times it actually brought results. "The heart huh?" He added. The heart could be a dangerous thing if you didn't use your mind as well. Despite being the fire demon slayer, his personality to the outside was always cool and collective but really he was a rather fiery person. Although generally level-headed, it wasn't hard to get him heated at all. All it took was for someone to rub him the wrong way and all hell could break lose. Rishi stood up and introduced herself before putting her pet onto the ground. True story; Jeremiah loved animals - more than people to be honest. His golden orbs sat and watched the small woman in front of him, she was kind and it was easy to see that her heart was tender, it also helped that she wasn't shy either. "Jeremiah, pleasure is all mine, Rishi." His orbs never leaving hers. The bronze sorcerer was respectful, and far from evil, but he just couldn't help the devilish look in his eyes. "Come on, let me show you around. I gotta warn ya though, there's really not much to see around here. To be honest, the only interestin' thing we have is a boring ol' art gallery..." he laughed.

The man seemed to think about what she had said about her heart out loud, and Rishi had worried. Had she said something wrong? Did she mess up? She didn't know, and she wasn't really going to ask. He introduced himself as Jeremiah, and she thought about it for a second. "Jere...miah... okay got it," she said as she repeated the name in her mind over and over again. This name was important, and she had to keep it bookmarked in the back of her mind so she never would forget it. He had laughed about there really not being that much in Oak and Rishi giggled a bit, staring up into the man's eyes. The golden eyes were like sap, keeping her eyes in place, making it almost impossible for her to look away. "Alright then, interesting equals boring art gallery, that makes sense," she said laughing. "You are quite the cute one I must say," she said as a warm glowing smile began to form on her face. At this moment she knew that this really was what she came all the way out here, and she knew that it was worth it. She was sure that more was going to form off of this moment, she just wasn't sure what.

The young Phantom began to stroll forward with his hands tucked deeply in his pockets. Rishi laughed along with him after he revealed that there wasn't anything really interesting in Oak. Th snow haired girl was pretty cool off the bat. Needless to say he already was thinking of different positions to put her in, he was a teenage boy after all. Sometimes he just couldn't help but to think about beautiful women in sexual ways but could you blame him? He noticed that Rishi kept her eyes peeled on him and seemed rather interested in him. As the two walked along the new girl admitted that he was cute - which of course he knew already because of self confidence - but he was too humble to say something like that at out loud. "Thank you, thank you." He said softly with a smirk as his golden eyes remained on hers. He stroked his chin playfully as if she made him feel himself a bit, then with a chuckle he replied. "But you're the real beauty here." he added. The Phantom's expression shifted back into a warm and genuine smile. Jeremiah liked a girl who wasn't afraid to speak her mind, he liked a girl who was confident enough to say how she felt because he himself was confident. Someone like Rishi had to know that she was very attractive though, pretty girls usually knew they were pretty right? "Your boyfriend is a lucky man."

Rishi's pale face had started to gain color, becoming red as she listened to Jeremiah speak. He had flattered her with his words, and she had never been told something so... so different, something she wished she would have been able to hear a week or so ago, when her world became colorless, depressing, making her feel as if there was nothing left to live for. Now, standing with Jeremiah, she could see the world full of color slowly come back to her, the colors seeping from the cracks in the floor onto everything her eyes could see. It was nice to see color again, and this time she was going to try to keep them.

He had said that her boyfriend was a very lucky man, and Rishi had looked down for a quick second, her eyes leaving Jeremiah's and looking towards the floor, feeling a slight bit of shame. Maybe she looked like she was supposed to have a boyfriend, but she didn't, and when she looked back up into Jeremiah's, golden eyes, she said, "Well... I don't have a boyfriend, and I never have either." Her eyes showed a hint of sadness, and as she looked into the bright golden eyes, Venus had been rubbing his head up against Jeremiah's leg, letting out sounds of happiness.

The more he watched Rishi, the more he saw how precious she was. His compliment only caused her to blush and look away quickly. It was at that moment he knew that the girl wasn't too confident in herself. A part of him felt like shit, only because he knew where everything was going but...what made her different? He felt that something about her wasn't like any other girl but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. It was no secret to those who knew Jeremiah on a personal level that he wasn't the type of dude to be tied down by any one person. He liked to keep his options open but lately it seemed like there was too many options to keep up with. From that one weird girl in his apartment building to a few girls in Phantom Lord. Thorn, Lilja...and now possibly this new girl? It wasn't his fault and he wasn't obligated to act a certain way for anyone but these girls were keepers - with exception of Thorn who was on the same type of timing as him.

Something about Rishi though... maybe it was just her general appearance but there was definitely something. However he only just met this girl, it would definitely take a little time for him to get to know her before he could see her as anything more than someone he was interested in. The white haired woman told Miah that she didn't have a boyfriend, nor did she ever have one. An eyebrow arose at the new information.

"Huh... I find that hard to believe, guess I'm in luck." His words were blunt, yet he spoke warmly. It would seem like he feared nothing with how he spoke but he spoke in a very respectful way. "I'm supposed to be showing you around right? Alright let's see..." He faced forward before looking about the stores that the two approached. Rishi's pet began to rub his leg causing the panther to stop and pick the animal up in his arms. "You hungry?" The best place he could think of right now was a diner in Oak that he loved so much. It was the perfect place for the two to sit and chat for a bit.

This man had broken through Rishi's wall of security, and it was obvious that she had become more tender and a little less confident in herself. She wasn't sure about what Jeremiah was thinking, but being so gentle probably wasn't going to be her best move right now. She had been warming up to him, and it seemed like Venus was too, watching him rub his head against Jeremiah's leg. Rubbing his head against anything was rare, as he really hated it whenever his curls got ruined. Today though he didn't seem to care, and when she saw his face when the man had picked him up, he had seemed almost as happy as when he was eating her freshly baked macaroons. Venus let out small yips of delight and snuggled up in Jeremiah's arms, and Rishi watched with a small smile from the sidelines. Then she realized that the girl had never introduced Venus to Jeremiah, and to him, the small pet seemed just like any other pet on the street. "Oh I apologize, that's Venus, my companion," she said walking over and gently patting the curls on his head, and he nuzzled against the girl's hand as she did so. "I am actually, all this traveling has made me quite hungry. Have any places nearby for a small bite, Mr. Tour Guide?"

Jeremiah loved animals. In his more youthful years he would often go out in the forest or woods and have an entire voyage to search for different animals. It never usually went as planned though, he usually only had luck with finding different types of rodent like creatures and bugs. He did find a bearhound one time. Those were rare creatures but they were pretty gently, the irony. The little creature he'd been holding snuggled in his arms. Animals loved him too. The Savannian began petting the creature before Rishi revealed her name. "Is all good. Sup Venus." This was the second person he met with a creature like Venus, the other one was Audrey's snowy companion. "Oh uh yeah, I do know a place. It's a diner around the block called "Daisy's. They have a really good dragonfruit smoothie." He turned to face Rishi with a smile. "And the pancakes are amazin' too."

Rishi thought for a second. Was this really the best choice? She could walk away now and not have to talk to this man ever again, or she could stay and maybe get to know him. She didn't know what was to become of this, but she wasn't sure it would be the best thing for her. Her heart was so tender, and it wouldn't be able to deal with something like a heartbreak, it would most likely completely stop on her. She didn't want that to happen, so she wasn't sure whether or not she should keep going with this. She thought for another second before coming to the decision that this was good for her, and she would continue on the path that she had started down. "Sounds nice, and I do love a good smoothie," she said as her stomach started to grumble. "Well at this rate anything sounds good." she laughed at what she said. Really though she knew that it wasn't too much food that she was hungry for, it was blood. She wasn't going to ask something so selfish from the man though, so she would just try to act as normal as possible throughout this whole thing.

Jeremiah placed the pet down gently before facing Rishi. Alright then, so it seemed like she did want something to grub on after all. After telling her about the famous smoothies that Daisy had to offer she seemed to be looking forward to it. With a light smile faced Rishi. "Alright so what you do is..." he began pointed forward towards the direction of the diner. "You walk down this block and you make a left at the corner. Then you walk for another two blocks and boom, you should be right in front of Daisy's" The Phantom smiled lightly. Surely Rishi would love the food Daisy's could provide, they were one f the best diners in Oak. After pointing her towards the direction he began to walk away before waving her off. "Have fun at Daisy's, I'll see you around or somethin'." Honestly, he just wasn't feeling this today not that it was anything against her, Jeremiah usually acted on impulse and right now his instincts were telling him to leave. No love on this side, kid.

Jeremiah had put her small animal down, and as soon as his feet touched the ground he had run over to Rishi faster than she had ever seen him run before, standing as close to her leg as possible. She had kind of wondered what this was all about, but she quickly dismissed it as she had listened while the man had told her the directions to Daisy's. She watched and listened carefully, but really she wasn't going to go. She might go later, but at that moment she really just wasn't feeling like doing anything. He walked away, leaving Rishi and Venus there in the middle of the town. She looked around for a moment before remembering where she had come from and started walking back that way. She didn't want to move again. Maybe this was a false alarm, and her heart had failed her. This was really something she hadn't expected from something she trusted so much, but it had seemed to be so. At least she got to travel all the way across Fiore and meet new people, but for now, she would rest and wonder what the real point of traveling so far really was.
