Overall: Icarus is a young man with dark skin, medium-length white hair, and gold eyes. He is tall and lean yet muscular, and always carries a sword with him. He also wears a white off-the-shoulder tunic, white shorts, a thick golden belt, and gladiator-style sandals.

Extra:

Personality

Personality: Icarus acts differently depending on the situation he is in. During combat, the boy is very cold and distant. He is calculating and analytic. Detached, but focus. He will hardly talk if the fight is serious. In fact, he doesn’t talk in tense situations at all. Especially when the balance of power in the circumstances are uncertain. When there are too many factors in the air for him to predict an outcome and he is left in the dark, waiting to see how the situation plays out, Icarus won’t say a word.

When the balance of power is pointing in Icarus’s favor, however, he would grace those nearby with his voice. His speech is a sign that he is in charge and that he’s calling the shots. The Angel of Silence only emerges when he is a simple mercenary or assassin. When Icarus takes charge and speaks, he doesn’t do so smugly. He merely address the fact that he is in command and continues from that point forward, like leading is natural to him.

Icarus is a very selfish individual. As mentioned above, everything he does has to benefit him in some way or another. Favors are just another way to create debt of the receiver that can be called upon at any time, and taking advantage of favors others’ owe him is one way he manipulates others in order to push his own agenda forward. He is constantly trying to twist the wills of others so that they carry out his motives.

The intelligent Mage largely creates his network of jobs through mutually beneficial business partnerships. All individuals can be bought in some way or another. Some desire money. Others seek power. Price and form of currency are just variables. After Icarus finds their price, he ensures to buy out his allies so that they can assist him. At the end of the day, they each get what they want, and Icarus especially draws himself closer to his ultimate goals.

Icarus has to change his personality slightly to get people on his side. He needs to seduce them in a way. Luckily, he's good at getting a read on people's desires and lures them in with what they want. It's all about how he presents himself and how he feels about them. He makes people feel like they are valuable to him, and that isn't a lie. He tries to reel in those who have something to offer and contribute. A unique skill set. He paints himself as the person who recognizes and appreciates their skill as well as the kid who can provide them with their deepest desires.

But what type of guy is the mage truly, behind the violence and the manipulation and the ambition? Firstly, he is cruel. Icarus has no rules that he goes by. There are no moral restrictions that prevent him from seeing his goals through all the way to the end, by any means necessary. That makes Icarus a very dangerous individual. Especially for a Mage who was raised by the S.O.F.K Organization. Ethical arguments don’t apply to him considering that he made the rules. A angel has no religion to follow.

Icarus is all about power. He works to increase his own scope of influence and decrease that of his competitors. Therefore, he hates it most when there are people more powerful than he is. Especially Mages who have a higher rank than him. Those who have a lot of power solely due to their titles. He refuses to find a mentor and take the role of a student due to his pride. Acquiring power through his own means is more important to Icarus than growing as powerful as possible, but barely so.

There's still a kid behind the mask, however. If we inspect Icarus as a kid and nothing more, he seems almost pitiful. A self-loathing is concentrated in his soul, revealing how dangerous to himself he is. Icarus doesn't care about preserving his own health. He has goals in mind and he'll pursue them to the end, even if it kills him. In fact, he's eager to die in the future once he has sought his unknowingly revenge. That is all he is, a vengeful “demon” reacting to the pain within him and his self-hate.

Icarus’s detest for himself comes from a continuous internal conflict that he has been faced with since his conception. Icarus and and the Mages of Fiore are at war with one another. Icarus’s revenge and hate is far more dominant than anything the world can combat him with.

If Icarus ever had a soft spot in his heart, it is gone. There is no one who can draw pity from him. Not children. Not mothers. Not the crippled. He treats himself like an agent of God, and God isn’t selective. There are no rules of war that God abides by. He is all powerful and decides who he allows to live and who’s life he strips from them. Icarus is that will of God.

But along with his personality is his fighting style. Icarus’s fighting style can be summed up with a few words: Controlled. Precise. Ruthless. He is a person driven with a focused anger, and his combat reflects that. All of his boiling rage and fury is directed and concentrated toward his goals and tasks at handing, acting as a powerful motivation backing up his raw power, analytical brilliance, and combat strength.

Likes:

Knowledge- Icarus strives for knowledge as he is a man who wants to become one of the greatest Mages to ever exist.
Power- Icarus yearns for power as a person who doesn’t have much power won’t be able to be a great mage.
Animals- Icarus has a large love for animals and is considered his soft spot.

Dislikes:

Idiots- Icarus really hates people who display themselves as not being smart. This is one of his pet peeves.
Kids- Children are a hindrance that are the cause for many things. Which is ironic since he is a child himself.

Motivations:

His Family- Icarus is extremely motivated by his dead family as they give him the strength to become more powerful and smarter each and everyday.
Life- life itself gives Icarus motivation because he knows that as long as life his in his body he can achieve greatness.

Fears:

Death- The only thing that Icarus fears is death itself as he won’t be able to achieve anything if he is dead.

History

History: Born to Hakka Ali and Luke Ichihara. One could assume that the histories of Icarus and Jeremiah would be almost the same. However, that isn’t the case for the young Savannian.

For most of his life, Icarus always lived in the shadow of his older brother. Never being able to see him, or even be near him as their mother felt that Jeremiah was a threat to the child’s safety. At the time, Icarus didn’t really know what that meant or what magic even was. All he knew was that he could never see a person that was biologically related to him. Unknowingly to the family. Not being able to see a brother that he looked up to would cause him to gain certain attributes. He wasn’t dumb for his age even though he was five.

Icarus had been around his father and mother far to long to not know that Jeremiah was going to be a strong man one day. However, the same could not be said for Icarus. Even though born to two powerful mages. He didn’t hold the magical capacity that would turn him into a embodiment of magic itself like those in his family. His parents didn’t really care for his magical abilities. As they felt that Icarus wouldn’t be anything too special anyway. Pain, Regret, Anger. A lot of emotions ran through the mind of the five year old as he lived in the household and grew older. If it were not for one unlucky day. He would have probably ran away from his home and went to the ends of the world by himself.

Growing to the age of nine. Icarus’s mind had already grown to be that full of hate. Even if he didn’t show it on the outside. He had learned to resent his brother Jeremiah for not being there for him. He still didn’t understand why exactly he couldn’t see his older brother. However, he knew that Jeremiah didn’t do anything at all to try and see him.

For some time, his father had been on a mission for the Rune Knights. Icarus didn’t know what for, but when he came back it was a rude awakening. Not even a week after his father’s return did a group of people attack his family. Icarus’s whole house, as well as the entire block was set ablaze. His father, mother, and Jeremiah had been killed. Though, he had survived barely with no burns. At the time he didn’t know a organization had destroyed his home. So when he had been rescued by some people from the fire. He had only assumed it was people from child services. However, that was not the case. The people who had gotten him out of the fire seemed to almost teleport. As he was in the fire at one moment and in the next he was in some kind of giant factory.

For years, Icarus lived his life with S.O.F.K. Being taught things such as fighting, science, and even the use of magic. He wasn’t just an empty vessel as his family thought. His magic was just dormant and had needed to be awakened unlike that of Jeremiah’s. The Organization saw something in Icarus and taught him many more things. Such as how to gather intel and kill. He would become a mercenary for S.O.F.K. Not even caring about his family’s death as he had a new meaning in the world. And that meaning was to takeover the world as he knew it.

Hi there, I'll be reviewing your character application.

Everything looks great to go, could you just edit in the type of spells that your class can do, in your magic description?

Bump when you're done!
