It was supposed to be a peaceful evening, you know like the type of evening where you go to Batra's inn and just enjoy a pleasant drink while letting the worries and concerns of the day be washed away. After having finished her work for the day Seta had decided it wouldn't be a bad idea for her to visit the inn, after all Mokuba was already asleep and it meant there was an excellent chance for her to enjoy a good drink in peace.

Like usually her trip to Batra's inn was far from eventful, sure she spotted a drunk here or there, sometimes a patrolling Rune Knight to make sure everyone was staying out of troubles but all by all it was a peaceful night.

Just like usually, upon opening the door leading into Batra's establishment the brunette found the bartender, Batra himself to be busy serving drinks, and best of all her seat at the bar was not taken! Feeling like today might be her lucky day the young woman made her way to her seat and after sitting down placed some jewels onto the counter. "The usual for me Batra." Luckily she had come here more than enough for the man to know that she wanted a Vodka Martini cocktail, prepared in a very specific way.

After being served her drink and bringing it to her lips to sample the flavor Seta decided to start her usual conversation with the man. "How is business going Batra?" The man, who had just started cleaning a glass turned toward her and stated with a calm smile. "The usual, business is running well despite the recent attack by Grimoire Heart. Some even say it's running better than normal because some people are trying to forget that the event even happened."

That made a lot of sense, she could imagine a lot of people would prefer to put the entire mess behind them, in the end no sane person held a love for war and the suffering it brought. "However, I do have a rather serious problem..." The man paused while Seta raised an eyebrow curiously. "Oh?" Batra nodded his head lightly as he gestured slightly with his head toward the kitchen behind him.

"One of my cooks quit for a reason he refused to tell me, and with the other cook's shift ending soon it means I'll have to close down the kitchen for the day." Seta nodded her head lightly, bringing the cocktail to her lips once more when Batra suddenly looked as if he had an idea of sorts. "Say Seta, you sometimes cook for your brother, right?"

Seta nodded her head lightly, although it was usually the cooks of the Kaiba household who prepared their meals, Seta did have a certain fondness for cooking meals for her little brother, but it was already too late when she realized where this conversation was heading toward. "So Seta, could you help me by running a shift in the kitchen? I'll pay you for the effort."

How in the world had it come to this? A question Seta asked herself as she found herself dragged into the kitchen shortly after she had finished her cocktail. Not only was she wearing an apron, but she was forced to cook for total strangers! A grumble escaped her lips as Batra explained each function of the large kitchen of the inn, and after confirming she knew everything the nightmare began. "2 breaded chicken wings please!"

Batra's voice had already stirred Seta into motion, the chicken wings already frying in the pan while she was adding the seasoning and spices that Batra had shown her before. Perhaps it was due to her experience, or her desire to get this over with as soon as possible, but Seta soon found herself finished with the work she had prepared, the breaded chicken wings carefully placed on a plate that she handed over to a waitress.

"Excellent work Seta, the guest is very pleased! Next up is a portion of french fries!" Oh gods seriously? Just the scent of the french fries was already making her hungry, and yet as she was preparing the french fries the next order already had come in hot on its trail. "3 hamburgers!" Wait who in the world ate 3 Hamburgers? Did Lil Wayne visit Batra's inn or something? Or maybe that weird Saiyan? Nonetheless, by the time the french fries were done she had grilled the meat for the burgers and placed them in their buns, handing over the two orders while she could have sworn seeing a familiar face in the crowd.

"Next up is 5 hot dogs!" Geez, five of them?! Did Lil Wayne suddenly duplicate or something? Rushing back and forth in the kitchen Seta could find herself getting slowly exhausted at all the work, but at long last the end was starting to come in sight, just a bit more and she would be done for the evening. "One hot potato!" Wait, seriously only a single hot potato? Why order something like that on its own?!

Shrugging her shoulders lightly Seta resumed working on the order, the baking of the potato fortunately taking only a little bit of time, and with the final order done and the inn closing down Seta was flopped onto her chair, a long sigh heaved from her lips. "Never ask me to do this again Batra, I'm a duelist not a cook." The man laughed softly at her complains, placing a pouch full of jewels onto the counter. "I'm sorry to have dragged you into this Seta, but you did an awesome job. All the clients were pleased with their orders, so I believe you did a perfect job with it." At least Batra seemed pleased and happy with the results, even if she was exhausted like hell from the work. "Anyways, I'm going back home, talk to you next week Batra." The man raised a hand in a parting wave as Seta grabbed a hold of the pouch and made her way outside the inn, having finally finished her work for the day.
