ManaSyliph sat in the back of the bar, scribbling pointlessly on the back of a napkin, he really wasn't in the mood to talk, he had just gotten here and he was hungry so he might as well eat something. Waving a waitress over he asked for a menu, which she handed him as soon as he asked, with a smile and a quick nod she disappeared back into the kitchen to fetch some food. Syliph looked over the menu, they had a lot of interesting food, but he decided on something similar to his past, Obereon chicken hawk, they're were a lot of them so over hunting them wasn't a huge deal, they reproduced like 7 times a year.
The waitress kindly brought him the plate. The first bite almost made him cry, the chicken hawk had been cooked like how its supposed to be cooked, in a delicious sauce, while slowly broiled, it was a bite of his childhood. Raising his hand he politely asked for a glass of water. Taking sips he felt himself sinking into memories, but this time not ones that were awful, more like snuggly ones, ones that didn't want to make you cry.
He remembered the day his sister Elexia was born, he actually needed to go find her, wherever she was.
He had been sent over to their neighbors house, they had a hunting dog who he liked to play wiht, he remember running around, and his father walking over from their house, he was smiling like an idiot. He took Syliph in his arms and took him home to meet his sister, Elexia, who they had named after his mother's mother. She had been a relatively quiet baby, she hadn't been as difficult as he had been as a baby. As she got older they learned to hunt together, and watched their parents use magic to farm. He remembered the first day they went to school together, as customary in their culture, the first day was always put to learning about the birth of the zodiac gods.
On the first night the wirld was born and the stars shone on its surface, Aries was born, he split the lands, so people could raise farms and have power, but with land came war. When two land owners traded instead of fighting for land. From this Taurus came from the astral plane.Every time the humans invented or try something new, the astral plane would expand, allowing a new god to descend and lead them, they were the gods of the people. They would lead them and remind them of their many feats. After Taurus, Gemini came to earth when artists and architects arose, Cancer came forth when a child lost its mother, and another showed mercy and adopted the child. Leo came forth when someone rose up and lead the people. Virgo arose when someone planned the perfect battle. Liba was born when someone was wrongfully convicted, and then a trial was held. Scorpio arose when someone invented the best invention, Sagittarius arose when the adventurers arose, Capricorn had risen with the first college, Aquarius rose with reason, And pisces rose when the first cure arose. All of these were important and contributed to society, when the Illumin attacked we were forced to hide, so the gods combined their amplified values and saved us and built the perfect hidden villages, and thus we were saved
