As Kazumi had stated to her fellow guild mates, she thought that the best thing they could do right now was to go up to this strange new guild that had appeared before them on the island and try to communicate. Of course, this was only a decent idea if they decided to do it cautiously. Sure, they did not want to jump to any conclusions, since such a thing might lead to unnecessary conflict, but they also had no reason to assume these were friendly people. Therefore, Kazumi and Kira moved toward them slowly, without wanting to alert the treasure hunters of their presence just yet, inviting the rest of the party to do the same if they so desired.

Unfortunately for the Fairy Tail mages, the strangers scattered before any of them could do anything, and with so much tree life in the way, Kazu was not able to see exactly where they all went. “Huh, that’s strange.” Kazumi whispered to the nearest guild mate, in case someone was still nearby. “I guess we should go down there and look around.” She was already going to the mouth of the tomb anyway, if someone was still there she could simply just go with her original plan, no harm done.

Upon reaching the last known whereabouts of the Kerberos party, it was clear that everyone had cleared out. However, the guild had left their belongings in this camp, so surely they were going to come back. The question was, did the Fairy Tailians want to wait for that to happen, not knowing what they were doing on their island? Looking around the camp, there wasn’t really much to take note of besides a cool looking notebook with three canine heads and the guild’s name. It was indeed Kerberos as Tori had informed them. However, looking at it, the book was blank; apparently unused. Kazumi put the book back down on the little fold out table where she found it and turned to her guild. “I see two choices here. Wait for those guys to come back, or head inside. Any thoughts?” Personally, Kazumi was not about to wait around for a strange group of people, but she was also not about to split her own party either, so before voicing her opinions, she chose to hear everyone else’s.

Sael watched with nervous apprehension as Kazumi stepped forward, moving closer and closer to the stranger ground. The crystal mage motioned for them to follow though he'd have to decline, giving a slight 'no' in response. Not if it turned to be a trap he'd rather leap in after the action started. Though, the next turn of events left him confused. When Sael looked back to the cave entrance the entire group had vanished. Even if they had been paying attention  there was no clear way to trace their movements through all the plant growth. Kazumi suggested that they all go down and investigate. With the threat of attack gone the cloud mage saw no reason no to go down this time.

When they had reached the mouth of the tomb it was apparent that this wasn't just some random group. They had been prepared and set up a decent sized camp here. A quick search through their camp proved the Sael's point. The men had come from a guild called Kerberos. Along with proof of who they were they had discovered a blank book. Perhaps they wanted to take notes on the tomb? Either way, he didn't like the looks of it. At this point Kazumi presented the Fairy Tail group with two choices. The first being to stay and wait for them, the second: They continue on their original journey.

So basically, wait for a strange group of folks from a mysterious guild they currently know little to nothing about, or continue on the journey assigned to them by the Guild master herself. The choice seemed rather obvious to Sael. Plus he wanted to put as much distance as possible between them and the group. Not like they had anywhere else to go on Tenrou, seemed as good as an option as any to go through with the mission. "I'm thinking we go on ahead. Not like we have anything else to do. Having another guild here is rather suspicious, we should probably hurry and get what we came for."

A strange group on Tenrou Island?

It was like something out of a mystery television serial or novel. If those guys with the strange guild emblem really were apart of Kerberos, that infamous treasure hunter guild, then Houren knew that they were going to be in a pinch. Treasure hunters were craft guys, people who put aside morality and virtue in exchange for riches; in that respect, it was pretty obvious that they would choose a target like this. This island belonged to the Fairy Tail guild, and it wouldn't have been unusual if outsiders believed that the island was home to all sorts of valuables. It was uninhabited by humans most of the time as well, so it was, for the most part, easy pickings. These Kerberos guys just happened to be unlucky is all, that they chose  to pillage the island while Fairy Tail members were actually present, and what more, those Fairy Tail members literally just saw the treasure hunters enter a tomb that they clearly tried to force their way into.

''We're going inside,'' the Fire Dragon Slayer said, appearing after the supposed treasure hunters had already taken their leave, presumably into the tomb. A quick consultation of the map that Cecilia had given to them showed that this tomb was the destination that she had marked out for them. Houren decided to explain the reasoning behind his decision. ''Whatever Cecilia wants us to get for her is inside there. Better yet if we run into those guys; we can teach them a lesson or two about trespassing,'' Houren wasn't entirely sure about the strangers' guild mark, but after casting his eyes towards the fold up table and seeing ''KERBEROS'' scribbled on the cover of the notebook, he knew that Tori's hunch was correct, and these guys were some crooked, glorified burglars. He grit his teeth in frustration, directing his gaze now towards the defiled tomb.

Houren had no idea who's final resting place this was, but whoever they were, they must have been of great importance to the guild and its legacy. He wasn't really one for sentimentality but disrespect of this degree was absolutely unacceptable, and he needed to make sure these Kerberos guys understood that. Since the map indicated that whatever they were looking for was in that there tomb, he supposed it was a no brainer that they all had to go in. With that in mind, he decided that there was no point in waiting to see what anyone else had to say. They might have been reluctant, but a mage's priority should be the job, and if they wanted to complete that, there was nowhere else for them to go.

The Fire Dragon Slayer took the lead, knowing that the prospect of an ambush was not entirely zero. They had not even considered the fact that the island would already have living humans inside it, and so they did not exert any caution when landing. Kerberos' representatives had plenty of chances to spot them. ''Let's not tarry,'' he addressed his teammates, focusing on no one in particular as he stepped into the tomb, and after successfully entering, was greeted by a labyrinth. He consulted the map again, and by some sort of magic, it had transformed into a map of the tomb; as expected of Fairy Tail's diligent guildmaster.

Winderlin followed behind Kazumi ready for a fight to break out. I mean come on now, no one was going to just talk this through at all. To be completely honest Winderlin has been itching for a fight for a very long time. He hasn't tried using his spells in a while so this was a great way to try. Sadly by the time they got there though there was no more members to fight. Everyone disappeared and left. Winderlin was pissed off. He crossed his arms and sighed. He was going to say something when Kazumi pointed out a tomb and a camp.

Winderlin got happy about this cat and mouse chase game that this other guild and them were playing. It was nice knowing that some people still fear the great guild of Fairy Tail, or so Winderlin wanted to believe they feared Fairy Tail, but he knew that was more or less not the case. Winderlin looked around the camp to see if he could maybe find anything cool. He peeked in some tents and looked around others and nothing was there. This was kind of a bummer for Winderlin since he was feeling like a bad child and wanted to be like this badass dude and impress his friends but usually luck was never on his side in these cases of anything.

Kazumi gave the choice of either waited for them to come back to the camp or following them into the tomb, as much as he wanted to fight he felt that maybe they should stay near the camp and do a steak out. It just gave them an advantage for several thing and they could find out why they were here in the first place. Winderlin was happy with his idea and was happy to share before Houren decide that the whole group was going in. "Cough, love ya buddy but if we have to go in sure we can go in, but maybe let's actually have a team talk before we shout out what WE ALL are going to do, thanks." Winderlin said smiling. He was trying to be rude or anything but more trying to make a stand point of being a team and having to talk and make plans and stuff. "Oh and by the way I guess we can follow them into the tomb thingy, I've been itching to fight someone."

As the group descended from their vantage point, they realized that the people from the treasure hunter guild had vacated the area, leaving their camp and possessions waiting for them. The doorway to the tomb had been opened, leading most of the mages to assume they entered the resting place of whoever eternally dwelled on the sacred island. Kazumi and Sai performed a quick investigation of the intruders' belongings and confirmed that they belonged to the Kerberos treasure hunter guild, but not much else. Their notebook had all blank pages, leading Tori to the conclusion they were meaning to take notes, but had yet to do so to any degree.

The group's crystal mage said out loud what Tori assumed most were thinking. Do they wait for the individuals to return to their encampment? Or do they pursue them in hopes of beating them to whatever they were after. Before anyone could give an opinion, Houren declared that the Fairy Tail wizards would indeed be venturing into the tomb after the trespassers, announcing that the guild master's map was pointing them into the tomb, so waiting would be pointless. He also pointed out that if they would run into the treasure hunters, they would learn why trespassing on Tenrou Island of all places was a grim mistake.

The Dragon Slayer was then scorned by Win, who said that a consensus would be necessary to deem fit entering the tomb, to which Tori had to disagree. "Sorry, Win. But Houren is right. We are going in the tomb." The blonde had a look of seriousness on her face that none of the group had ever witnessed before, not even Kazumi. "If whatever the guild master wants is in that tomb, there's a good chance that's what Kerberos is after, so we can't let them have it. What's more, they're trespassing on OUR guild's sacred island. Our homeland. Anyone not willing to take action against this grave insult to our guild doesn't deserve to call themselves Fairy Tail!" she said, her voice almost reaching a growl of anger. Without another word, Tori followed her fellow Dragon Slayer through the rocky doorway.

As the group followed the corridors of the apparent labyrinth in which they found themselves, Tori had to admit to be impressed by how everything had held up for being as old as it was. But that sense of awe was quickly overshadowed by the anger that welled up inside her for the Kerberos guild. Every step was another degree of seething rage that was only getting stronger as time went on. Before long, the group reached a break in the floor to great to leap. The chasm was filled by a lake of sorts, looking to be quite deep. Swimming was surely an option, but that would take too long, not to mention fighting in wet clothes would have been a hassle that Tori was in no way prepared for. She sighed as she did not want to reveal her element to Houren prematurely, but it seemed that she had no choice.

The woman walked in front of the water and held out her arm, pointing her open palm towards the water. A single icicle fired from her hand, making a small splash as it dove beneath the surface. Within seconds, the group would see the water begin to freeze from just beneath the surface, and in no time at all, the ice was thick enough to walk across. "Come on. We have no time to lose." she said simply as she progressed across the chasm.

•Kazumi Kiseki•

The young Crystal maker mage could not help but feel disappointed in some of her fellow guild mates. A couple of them seemed to be jumping to unnecessary conclusions without properly gathering information first. They had no actual proof that the stranger guild was filled with bad people or anything, and yet here Tori and Houren were demanding that they be punished. Tori even going as far as to say that anyone not agreeing shouldn’t be in the guild! Tch, well that’s a little extreme. Kazumi had had this thought before, but what if they just found an island and wanted to explore it? Though there was no denying the unlikelihood of this theory, it was still a possibility that should have been respected until enough intel was gained to discover Kerberos’ true intentions. This of course was why Kazumi had wanted to talk to them in the first place. The whole thing was definitely more than a little frustrating.

Either way, the guild unanimously decided that it would be best to just walk into the tomb and get what they came to the island for. The faster this went, the faster they could all return to the comfort of their homes. Of course some were more…Enthusiastic than others to enter the dungeon as it were, and while it came across as Cocky to the point of almost arrogance, that was probably just Kazumi’s distorted feelings caused by already being a bit irritated. “Well I’m glad we all agree to go in at least.” She said with a sigh that she had unsuccessfully tried to catch before it came out. With that, she followed her compatriots into the tomb where Adventure surely awaited them.

Eventually the group came across their first obstacle: an underground river. With seemingly no thought or care, Tori froze the flowing water so that they could cross, in theory not making this an obstacle at all. The crystal maker felt like some kind of communication beforehand would have been nice and could think of a few better ways to go about the situation, but again, she was already annoyed. Her mind was blowing things out of proportion so until someone did something actually Detrimental, she wouldn’t say anything. Kazumi picked Kira so that her natural body heat wouldn’t melt or weaken the Ice in any way as she slowly crossed the bridge, trying not to slip.

Sael hadn’t wanted to come across as too demanding. Especially to Kazumi or King. Though that concern was blown out of the roof by the reactions of some of his other guildmates. Houren was already intimidating, in a leader-ish way, so he couldn’t really blame him, but it still felt like his was a bit pushy. Tori on the other hand… -Sael gave a stern look to the ground at her response- PURE INSPIRATION. Just as you’d expect from one of the leading members of Fairy tail! King was pretty nice too, man, now I wish I said more. At least we all decided what we’re going to do now. (Looking back on it though was there ever a real doubt?) Although he did manage to catch Kazumi’s irritated tone. I suppose we could’ve gone a bit easier on the comments? Nonetheless he gave the crystal mage a sympathetic pat on the back as he entered the tomb.

The actual specifics of the tomb were, in a word, massive. What kind of person was important enough to build - All of this- he asked himself, mentally gesturing to the entirety of the area around them. You have to admire their efforts though, even if this was nothing more than a recycled cave system the amount of work one would have to place into building, once again - All of this - It was simply breathtaking. He glanced around at his fellow guild mates, his eyes caught at Houren and the map. His head tilted unbidden-ly, curious. Just how extensive were those instructions, surely they couldn’t have mapped the entire area? Then again it could easily be enchanted. I wonder if it could sing and dance to tell us where we were suppose to go. Sael was pretty sure he’s seen it somewhere.

A few more minutes along their journey, led by Houren and his trusty map, brought about one of their first obstacles. Before them lay a massive cavern, filled with water. “Oh I got-” He started quietly, only to pause as Tori walked up to the waters and make her move. They walked up to the water, calm as the waters before them before firing a icicle into the pool. “Well, that’s one way to solve the problem.” He muttered, slightly disappointed to see his chance to shine go to waste. Either way they got to their destination, that was ‘all that mattered’. Kazumi and Kira went ahead first, and careful not to fall over, Sael crossed after them.

In the end, they all ended up going into the tomb after all. For a second there, Houren had wondered whether it would be a good idea to leave one guy behind as a lookout to look out for ambushes, but he held his tongue and decided not to suggest this to the other guild members. This was just like the time back in Hargeon port when they had all disagreed on whether they should split up or not to find Captain Seagull. The Fire Dragon Slayer could not recall the ultimate conclusion that they had reached but he did remember his own stance; that is, he was heavily against them splitting up and even now, his view on the matter did not change. In fact, one could even say that he was more convinced than ever that sticking together was the correct choice. There was more than one Kerberos member on the island, that much was for sure, but there could very well have been more excluding the ones that they had seen earlier. Considering that, it would actually be dangerous to be split up. It was best if they all stuck together, just in case a fight actually broke out.

The first obstacle that they would encounter in the tomb would be a large pool of water as it were. The Fire Dragon Slayer couldn't believe his own bad luck - out of all the things in the world that could have stood between them and whatever it was that Cecilia was looking for, it had to be water? The one thing that Houren absolutely despised, mostly because his preferred element was weak against water, but it wasn't as though swimming was his favorite pastime either. He intended to ask everybody about their magics to see if there was someone in their party who had just the right spell for this occasion, but it looked like he didn't even need to do that.

Before he could say even a word, Tori had already stepped up and performed some sort of spell on the water that Houren could not see properly. He watched with trained indifference as the large pool of water froze over, and he came to the belief that Tori's elemental affinity was that of frost - the elder brother of water, and fire's rival. It was almost fitting that this would be the case between them but he said nothing more on that subject, simply flashing Tori an uncharacteristic thumbs up if she were to direct her attention towards him. He took the map out again and began to read it, walking along the ice as he did so, making sure that he was, at the very least, near the front.

He held the map in front of him. "Come, it's this way," he waved towards his teammates, gesturing for them to follow him as he led them into a room that just so happened to be filled with beautiful plants. He simply shrugged, believing that some Fairy Tail mage from an earlier generation was a big fan of botany, and began to make his way to the door on the other side. When he was roughly ten meters in the room though, the Fire Dragon Slayer felt a tug on his left ankle, initially believing it to be one of his guild mates but eventually realizing that it was one of the vines from the plants. "Looks like the plants can come to life!" he said loud enough for his friends to hear. He imbued his right hand with fire (his left hand was holding the map still), dropped to one knee and punched the plant.

Winderlin could tell no one was truly happy with the whole talk outside. I mean you really couldn’t blame anyone with that either since, well, everyone had their own sassy comment to one another. Winderlin was a bit more happy that Kazumi agreeed with him but wasn’t to happy that Tori if we didn’t want to go we shouldn’t call our selfs members of the guild. Winderlin felt that she was blowing this way out of proration, but there was nothing else Winderlin could do. He no or thag Sael didn’t say anything and felt bad but hey like said before there was that could of been done now.

The group walked through the tomb and Winderlin wondered who really did built all of this and why. What was the purpose of all of this and who really needed? No on could answer those questions though so it was pointless asking so Winderlin just kept walking which lead them to their first issue ok the travel after these strange people. Well it was an issue but Tori took care of it with no problem and frozethe whole damn thing. It was smart and quick thinking but the magic could of been saved maybe but hey at least the job got down and everyone was able to cross safely. Winderlin really wanted to unfroze the water and swim but he knew he couldn’t do that so he just sighed and kept walking with everyone else.

It was a bit ways as the group walked before they came in contact with another issue. I mean for something that was suppose to be Fairy Tail Guild protected it was doing a terrible job at letting us through, which made Winderlin wonder how far and or what did the other guild have on this island and more specifically in this tomb, but before that thought could finish Houren was fighting a plant. This was strange but made sense when he said that the plants could come to life. ”our of all the things they could of had down here they had to have man eating plants. Not only is so unoriginal but like time comunsing and annoying to be honest.” Winderlin said putting his pointer and middle finger against his temple. Afterwards he puts his hand in the air and water began to spin and form around his hand until it formed a double sided sword. Winder hasn’t used his powers in a while and was shocked he could use this spell still but did it anyway and began to twirl the water sword around his fingers and hands showing off his skills. This was completely another one of Winderlin’s talents. After that he bagan hacking at any vine or plant that dared try to grab him and of course helped any member out if they needed it.

Before she crossed the new ice bridge, Tori noticed that a few of the group had planned to say something, but fell silent in the aftermath of her actions along with Houren giving her a thumbs up for making short work of the would be barrier. The guild members crossed one by one before entering a room filled with beautiful flora. But before she could admire any of the exotic plant life, vines had moved of their own accord and started to tangle themselves around the group's feet. Houren made short work of the unlucky vine that had chosen him, as he wrapped his fist in an orb of flames and punched downward at the plant, incinerating it instantly. "Of course." she thought to herself. It would be her luck that the first fight against a fellow Dragon Slayer would be the one who had elemental advantage over herself. She started to imagine being on the receiving end of that punch, but was interrupted by yet another vine that had chosen her to be its victim. "Two can play at that game." She thought to herself. She engulfed her left fist with a mist that solidified into a chunk of ice and punched downward towards the vine as well, pinning it to the ground. While this was not enough to kill it alone, as it was still reeling trying to escape, Tori kept it bound while she extended her right arm. A similar looking mist would extend from it, also solidifying to form a blade of ice which she swung down to sever the vine from its roots.

As the severed piece of vine wilted and released its grip on her leg, Tori turned to see how the rest of her guild mates were faring against the aggressive flora. She kept the sword ready to attack again at a moment's notice, while also preparing to release another spell should it become necessary. She wanted to go all out to really show Houren that she wasn't about to go down easily, even if he had the advantage over her, but at the same time she knew that she had to conserve her energy for when they found the intruders from Kerberos.

Upon crossing the sudden ice bridge, Kazumi set Kira down and stepped to the side, waiting to make sure everyone else safely made it across before following them into the next room. Luckily, everyone seemed to make it across fine, though as they did, Kazumi noticed that she was noth the only one bummed about  how mind numbingly quickly this was solved. Maybe in the future this would lead to better communication, but only time would truly tell.

In any case, with the underground river cleared, the party moved onto the next room. It was actually quite surprising how beautiful it was, a secret underground garden. Surely this was the work of some magic, though Kazumi could not claim to be a botanist. It was times like these where Kazumi wished that Shin had not left. She was sure that he would know all about these flowers. As the group proceeded, Houren became the first to fall victim to the plants’ apparent… “quirk”. They were actually plant monsters, attacking the fairy tail members with their vines. Since she was at the back of the pack, Kazumi was able to take advantage of Houren’s warning. She stepped back, to the doorway of the room, and was able to see that there were 6 plant monsters total.  She held her hand out, and from it an army of Crystal butterflies formed, splitting into two groups and hurtling toward two of the nature targets. Their razor sharp wings made quick work of the plants. Destroying them both.

When all of the plants had been wiped out and after a quick and well needed break, The Fairy Tail mages were off to the next room. Who knew what would await them there?

Gradually, one by one each member of team Fairy Tail made their way across Tori's miniature ice bridge. Some more enthusiastically than others, he thought to himself as he glanced towards Houren. Sael himself was a bit disappointed that he didn't get to help too much on the trip. Hopefully he would see some action soon though, however if you think to what that entails, perhaps it was best not to see any action. The lake was a strange enough thing, what else could be stalking behind the shadows?

Not too long after the group collected themselves did Houren take the lead again. Whatever was on the map it led the group to a big room. Pretty bare, minus the disturbing amount of wildlife (especially given that they were inside a cave with little to no light). It was pretty big as well. Nothing much to do except move on. Only thing was they weren't alone. Around about a dozen steps into the space Houren started screaming something. A flash of red and the scent of burning filled his nostrils. When Sael took a look around he could see that they were surrounded with very animate plant-life.

Sael jumped up when he felt something snake around both his legs, sneaking under his pants. "Well hello there, how are you?" He was answered when they snaked further up his pants. The cloud mage bit his lips, withholding a laugh. Damn these things are ticklish. Then they started moving and he couldn't even try to cut back laughing. "Alright- HAH- Oh my- Stop it! That freaking tickl-ules!" He cracked up, squirming and spasming as he fell to the floor hysterically. However they refused to let up their onslaught and he was finding to harder and harder to catch his breath as they climbed further and further up. The cloud mage's eye narrowed into a slit and his mood soured instantly. "Did you hear me? I said knock it the hell off!" He yelled. With a snap a giant cloud shaped in a fist smashed the vine holding his right leg down, quickly making short work of the other one. Great now he was going to have to clean his pants of plant juices later on. He groaned to himself.

His eyes followed down the length of the vines that he crushed, leading him to the source of their terror, with a sweep of his hand an arc constructed out of hardened clouds sliced through the monstrous creature with ease.

He looked to the others seeing if they needed help with their own creatures. Everyone seemed to have already fought off their assaults, however Sael could spot one left and he quickly dashed and smashed it flat with his handy assistant.

Team Fairy Tail quickly regrouped after the incident, taking a short break, during which Sael elected to clean his pants out of those perverted vines. He could swear that some of them were still moving. Afterwords the group headed down to the next room, a whole new set of challenges were hopefully not present. Sael's clouded fist following behind it's human companions.

Another vine wrapped itself around Houren's leg not long after he had gotten rid of the first one, and imbuing his left fist with fire like he had done earlier with his right, he made short work of it by forcing it down on the plant's stem. Everyone else, at least those who had been attacked by the vines had already finished their respective battles as well, so picking up the map again, the Fire Dragon Slayer knew that everyone was ready to go to the next room. It was fairly obvious which door they needed to take so it wasn't as though they really needed the map right now. The tomb had been a labyrinth but by now, it was merely a case of passing these 'tests', and advancing to the next room until you reached the last room. He opened the door and entered, receiving quite the surprise when he found himself looking up at someone, or something. Earthland was full of living things of all shapes and sizes but rarely did Houren ever find himself having to look up at another living organism.

His reaction was immediate, balling his right hand into a fist and imbuing with flames, much more potent than the ones he had used against the vines. The golem (Houren saw that there was six of them scattered around the place) closest to him lunged first, but the bulky creature seemed to be slow and Houren met him midway, leaping slightly so that he could give the earth golem an uppercut that sent its head flying completely off, and rendering the rest of the body completely obsolete. He didn't bother looking back at his guild mates, instead trusting that they would begin to pour into the room and start fighting these golems of their own accord.

He outstretched his right hand and began to shoot a long, but narrow stream of fire at the golems, moving his hand around the room so that he would be able to deal damage to more than just one golem. The stream wasn't much of a threat to his nimble guild mates who could simply maneuver their way around it, but that wasn't something the slow, bulky golems could replicate. The Fire Dragon Slayer grinned to himself as his stream of fire clipped the ankle of one of the golems, forcing it onto one knee.

"Let's finish 'em!" he said it to no one in particular.

Winderlin chuckled to himself since they plants weren't really a match for him. He just swung his sword around in his hand so elegantly and gracefully and kept cutting different vines each time protecting his whole body. Everyone else seemed to be holding up pretty well and they all past the room with no issue at all. They all kept walking further and further down the cave thing which confused Winderlin a bit more. One there were traps here which meant that there was something here worth protecting, but what? On top of that, what did this pother guild want with it and how did they get here. But even further than that, with these traps each member is using there magic which means if we do get to the end and run into the other guild we all would be too weak to fight them, so why not wait for them to come back out the tomb, but then again Winderlin didn't question any of this from start nor did he asked anyone before hand, so he guessed it was too late.

They all went to the next room which shockingly wasn't what Winderlin wanted to see. There were golems there. Winderlin didn't know what to do anymore, like how many rooms were there of this stuff. Houren was the first person to attack and Winderlin followed suit in attacking after words. He kept his sword with him and walked further into the room twirling the sword around. He took the second closest golem and strike it with his staff  to see it had somewhat of a small effect on it. SO Winderlin kept moving around the golem striking it with his water sword. He wasn’t sure if this was the most effective way to fight the thing but this was the only good attack he had that was close range enough minus his hand to hand combat skills which would be pointless because this was a golem not a fleshy human.

After standing by while Houren dispatched the last of the rogue plants, Tori wondered what would be in store for the Fairy Tail members next. It seemed like this chain of rooms had been an elaborate series of tests, meaning that whatever they were supposed to retrieve was certainly worth all the protection. All the more reason to get to the item, whatever it was, before the intruders from Kerberos did as far as the ice mage was concerned.

Without wasting any time, Houren led the group into the next chamber and sure enough, there was another enemy. Golems that looked to be made of stone took to shambling towards the group. Their clunky bodies only reinforced her suspicions as to their composition. Houren made quick work of one, giving it the same treatment as he did the plant creature, only with the opposite hand before releasing a stream of fire into the direction of the rest of them. "Oh, come on! We don't have time for this!" she shouted towards the golems, not even attempting to hide her irritation at the situation. They had to find whatever the guild master wanted before these goons from the treasure hunter guild got to it first! Granted, she didn't remember finding anything confirming that was why they were there, but she saw no other reason for the group to have wandered into this tomb in the first place.

She let out a deep sigh, likely loud enough to be heard by her guildmates. "We have to make this quick." she said sternly, knowing that time was of the essence. "Everyone fire off the strongest spell you have at the group of them so we can take them all out at once." she instructed, knowing that no matter how tough these things were, they couldn't withstand a barrage of this magnitude. Waiting for Winnie to take a safe distance to release his attack, Tori built up her magical energy inside of her. After the coast was clear, she took a deep breath and shouted, "FROST DRAGON...." she knew this would reveal her secret to the rest of the team, probably the rest of the guild after whoever talks. But this wasn't a time for secrets. Desperate times call for desperate measures as they say.

"ROOOOOAAAAAARRRRR!!!!!!" she shouted as she released the magic that had welled up inside her. A huge funnel of icy wind escaped her mouth as she roared towards the golems. Surely it was strong enough to take down one creature by itself, maybe even two. But combined with the might of the spells everyone else would throw, the group would make quick work of these so called guardians before making their way into the next room and hopefully the Kerberos members.

Well apparently, what waited for them in the next room were some golems, as an eager fire dragon quickly found out. The stone creatures were large, and they absolutely seemed like they would take more of a hit than those plants back in the other room. She was sure that the others also noticed this. So far Houren and Winderlin seemed to take the close combat approach, attacking with their respective elemental powers. Meanwhile, a currently desperate Tori had a more cooperative plan in mind. In all truthfulness, Kazumi actually found that to be rather infuriating. NOW she wanted to teamwork this? What kind of consistency was that? Of course, Kazumi was simply being a stubborn, irritated mess within her own thoughts, but surely she was at least a little justified here? Ever since she noticed the treasure hunters, Tori had been acting rashly, making her own decisions for the rest of the guild without consultation, and NOW she wanted to work together? Beyond that, The crystal maker suspected he only suggested it because it would be the faster option. Kazumi could only sigh. Well, Tori wasn’t WRONG, this would be the faster option, but it still seemed out of place. Besides, Kazumi wasn’t fully convinced that Kerberos had even gone through the tomb. Surely the party would have either seen them trapped by now, or they would have seen the path of destruction the other guild would have left by defeating said traps. As it stood now, there was no sign of anyone being there ahead of the Fairy Tail Crew. Something about that was weird. Of course that was a separate thought for another time.

It was suggested that each party member unleash their best spell at the living stone. Frustrations aside, it wasnt a bad idea, though they would have to make sure to hit as many as possible. Bumping her fists together, Kazumi created giant gauntlets of crystal that hovered around either side of her body. She then pushed her arms in a flat, circular motion in front of her, so that her fists met again. This triggered the Crystal fists to do the same, coming from both sides of the golem group to not only hit two of them for b rank damage each, but also to converge the group of them together more so that her companions could get a better shot. Surely when everyone worked together for once, the golems would be defeated, and when that  happened, Kazumi would voice that nagging feeling she had. “Hey, before we move on, something isnt right. There is no sign of Kerberos anywhere. None of these traps were triggered until we walked in. So either we’re here ahead of them somehow,” Kazumi waved a hand toward the map Houren kept with him, indicating that if they were in fact ahead, that was probably why, “or they never came in here in the first place. I'm not sure if its a good or bad thing yet, but it’s something ive noticed.”

Sael was not surprised, nor particularly eager to continue when they entered the next room. Half-heated exhaustion and weariness would do that. Not that the six hulking earthen golems about the room would have anything to do with that. The young mage flinched when Houren shouted a battle-cry, the force behind it echoing throughout the room.

Winderlin was the first to take up arms after Houren, then Tori, whose mood was dropping faster than the temperature of her icy fury. He doubted he could do too much to help her and King looked like he could use the help so Sael leapt to the aid of his like-novice friend. With a snap of his fingers a small cloud materialized in-front of him, jumping on the small cloud its shape focused to mimic a small imitation of a staircase. Using his cloudy path he sprinted up and back around the golem, leaping on top of it's back. Snapping once more before he landed. His right forearm another cloudy hand condensed into being, gripping the constructs head, his other arm mimicking the motion on the other side. It struggled and tired to buck the mage off it but Sael had locked his feet onto the creature by shifting his cloud around his feet. Connecting the two foes together. Sael nearly jumped back as he tried to rip its head off. His muscles strained with the effort and his face contorted under the force. Sael could make out a faint crack when the giant golem thrust back particularly hard and added to Sael's efforts. In a split second the crack multiplied and the damage snaked around the rest of the construct's head. Sael's foot cloud dispelled itself and he went flying.

His cloudy hands let go of their vice grip on the stoney head and shifted behind the cloud mage, the stronger one extending itself and expanding, creating as soft landing while the floating hand caught it's master and slowed down the fall. Sael sighed as he landed on soft clouds and with a nod, dispersed both constructs with a puff. The young mage dusted himself off before glancing a look in Winderlin's direction, a worried smile growing on his lips.

Sael's eyes snapped back to Tori who rallied the others to focus their attack power into one strike. That was a subtle hint to get out of the way, and he took it, bolting off to the side as he stumbled to get up and out of the way. Tori and Kazumi both charged up their spells and blasted the rest of the golems that were present in one collision of magic.

His ears were still ringing a few moments after the the blast, and his heart was struggling to catch up with his lungs. He stared at the two mages before him and wondered how he ever thought that he could help them. These mages were more than capable of completing this mission on their own. Looking at what Sael and King had to do together... Well, he could indulge in his self-pity later. When there wasn't anyone around.

As the group gathered around Kazumi shared her thoughts on the Kereberos guild and Sael could find himself agreeing on more than a few points himself. "It is rather strange that we're the only ones dealing with all of these traps..." He remarked. "But perhaps it's a good thing, maybe they haven't entered the cave, which means whatever the Master sent us here for, is still here." He shrugged at the last part. Unsure what to make of the situation. Maybe his guild mates would have a better insight on the situation.

Not one to be outdone, the Fire Dragon Slayer immediately released the sustain on his current spell and moved back so that he was closer to the rest of his teammates. There was an especially destructive spell in his arsenal, but it wasn't really one that was appropriate while Winderlin and Sael were doing their close combat thing. When the two of them received the cues to move back, Houren began to charge up his spell, a direct parallel to Tori's Frost Dragon roar. The others may or maybe not have been surprised by the sudden revelation that one of their teammates was a Dragon Slayer, but since he already knew, Houren was only interested in what kind of element she utilized. After seeing the display with the body of water earlier, he suspected ice, but considered the possibility of it just being plain water manipulation but now his doubts had been put to rest.

He released the spell when it was deemed safe to (that is to say when nobody was in the vicinity of the spell besides the golems), and joined in with the rest at the end when Kazumi made her announcement, which, now that it had been pointed out to him, did strike Houren as odd. "If it means the thing Master wants us to retrieve is still there, then it works to our advantage," was the conclusion that he came to, but he still didn't like the idea of some trespassers being present on the island, and he made that opinion known as well before they headed into the next room, which fortunately turned out to be the last.

"This must be it," the Fire Dragon Slayer said with some excitement as he headed up to look at the jewel. Fortunately, they had the good sense to not hand over every single food item they had to those monkeys, and it was a simple case of taking the jewel and replacing with a similarly shaped apple, as to not trip any kind of security system. "Now we just need to get out of...here," he had begun to turn around as he spoke, but found that they had already been teleported outside.

The fighting kept going on and it was starting Winderlin up a wall. He was able to keep up but he wasn't sure why this was a thing. He want to be back home and sleep and cozy and warm and swimming, not fighting these stupid monsters and finding people. His master was clearly sending them on a wild goose chase and it was stupid. like why was this even a thing. He did a few more flips and slashes in a different direction, and then a stab here and then a twirl slash around the back, but it was their Fire Slayer Dragon, Houren, who was the one who completely took out the rest of the golems and that was the end of that. Winderlin sighed of relief and sadness.

They began to walk some more and further into the cave before Kazumi brought up a really good point. Where was the other guild thing people at. They were no where to be found which somewhat bothered Winderlin. He wasn't sure if this was a trap or just a small thing that didn't matter but it was still neither the less a thing to look at. They walked some more before they found a jewel and Houren pointed out that it might be the thing that master sent us to get. Winderlin felt so happy inside and couldn't believe it. They finally found the thing but it was simple. They knew they had to make their way out but Winderlin felt like that was the whole point to begin with now. What if the other guild wanted them to find it and just bring it to them. Winderlin started to get the chills and a bad feeling. I guess only one way to find out, but then Winderlin blinked and they were out. They were no longer in the cave but outside. Winderlin wasn't sure what was happening and more. He blinked a bit and looked at his other guild mates, on what was happening and it was completely confusing. He kept a nice and tight grip on his sword still just to make sure that he was ready in case of anything was going to happen to them.

The Dragon Slayer was relieved that her idea worked. The golems, no matter how durable their constructions, couldn't stand up to the combined assault of 5 of Fairy Tail's top mages on their worst day. After crossing the room now strewn with rubble, Kazumi addressed the group with her suspicions of the treasure hunter guild's presence, or lack thereof, within the tomb. Seeing as how the band of Fairy Tailers had triggered each of these traps, or tests, themselves, surely they would have run across them by now. Tori had been in such a rage up until now that she didn't even notice...but the crystal mage was absolutely right. "Maybe they wound up taking a different path that we overlooked?" the ice mage suggested as they entered what looked to be the last room of this path, the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. Regardless of anyone's retort to her thought, Tori actually was thinking clearly now and silently recounted the last few hours of their day. She was disgusted with herself. Here she was snapping at her beloved guild mates, including Kazu who she saw as her closest friend within the guild, albeit that wasn't saying much these days, considering that Tori had been anything but a good friend to the black haired girl lately.

She continued scolding herself in her own mind as Houren found a jewel of sorts and replaced it with an apple from the snack bag. She wasn't sure when he got that, or what made him think to pull such a stunt, but she wasn't gonna complain. She actually almost chuckled to herself as it reminded her of an old book she read back home about a treasure hunter that did the same thing, but instead used a bag of sand. "Good thinking, Hour...en?"

As she finished her the name of her new rival, the group found themselves outside the tomb, back at the Kerberos members' camp. She looked around for anything or anyone, but the place looked exactly how they had left it before they walked into the old catacombs. Before anything else, Tori felt the need to address her guild mates. "Everyone, I'm sorry about how I've been acting all day. I've...had a lot on my mind lately. And it's not right for me to take it out on any of you. Kazumi, you in particular. These last couple of months must have been harder on me than I realized. From now on, please let me know if I get out of line like that again." she said, trying to force a smile. She was happy that their mission had been a success, but she was disappointed in herself beyond what words could portray.

"Well, I guess we should get back to Captain Seagull. He will be thrilled to hear that we were able to retrieve...whatever it is we were sent here for. I would have liked to get my hands on those intruders, but the mission should take priority."
she suggested to the group, unwilling to make calls on their behalf any longer. While waiting for the group to decide, Tori gathered to herself how much growing she had to do as a Fairy Tail mage...and as a friend.

With the golems finished off, The party moved on the the next room and Wouldn’t you know it? The item they needed to find was there! At least, Kazumi assumed so. She honestly had not been clear on what exactly they had been there for this whole time, but Who cared! The quest was completed! Time to go home! As soon as Houren grabbed the treasure, everyone found themselves back outside as if they had never gone in. Of course, the dragon man still had the objective so all’s well that ends well. Everyone decided that it was time to go home, but not before Tori decided to apologize for her behavior, calling out Kazumi Specifically. The crystal mage blushed in embarrassment and looked away, not really liking how she was suddenly put in the spotlight like that out if nowhere. “Uh, we can’t worry about that right now, lets just go home and If you feel the need to talk to me you should speak with me later.” With that, Kazu wished to move far away from that conversation, agreeing that it was time to meet back up with the captain. Finally, they would all be going back home.

Sael handed a nod to Houren's theory. He was getting around to that part to. Although Tori did have a pretty good alternative. The caves were pretty extensive and the Kerberos guild didn't have a map to guide them. Down here, from the subtle context clues he's gotten from their short trip, getting lost was rather damning. The group took a few more moments to settle themselves before deciding to head out and continue the search for this mystery object.

The next room was kinda bare like the ones before it. The only decorations delighting the room was the jewel piece in the center. Houren took as few steps forward, "Careful..." Sael warned, but the older mage was prepared. With the fruit bag? A quick exchange of jewel and fruit caught the cloud mage off guard and a moment later the group was teleported outside of the cave.

"Well, that was rather anti-climactic."
Sael huffed out, his brain still processing that he was outside. Looking around, it seemed that everyone else was caught in a bit of a daze as well. Tori, taking advantage of the situation, decided an apology was in order to Kazumi. The latter mage blushed at the other's words, and Sael's heart was popping up with all sorts of implications. In any case he was still too dazed to come up with any sort of response and agreed that they all should head over to the ship.

With everyone sanding confused on where and how they got here, they sort of just overlooked it as a whole. Everyone took a mental sigh Winderlin felt and wasn't sure what to say or do with anyone anymore. He knew that he didn't need his sword anymore but kept it out anyway for a touch of specialness and just in defensive in case of the other guild came back. He knew that they could of taken a different path but it still felt weird, like they want them to go in and find the think.

Winderlin was taken back from his thoughts hearing Sael whine about the jewel easy steal which made Winderlin giggle a bit but that ended shortly hearing Tori and Kazumi. Tori was saying sorry and going on about how she has been acting which confused Winderlin a lot, he knew that she and everyone else including himself have been a bit rough but that's what happens when you are a family. She said sorry to Kazumi personal and she held this strong talk to me later stance but Winderlin could tell she was happy, which made Winderlin laugh even harder. "I love you all so much."
