She came here too often lately. Still waiting for Odin? Always waiting for Odin.. It was realy waiting for Odin or was it just: there was no better place in Oak to hang out? Even though the bar wasn't really different, the atmosphere being dark, the hidden personalities in here, it was open more often and other people had joined here too.

It seemed more open, more normal citizen joined. That's what she was looking at, the people. Sightseeing inside, very effective. Especially with eyes like hers. She was drinking a normal cup of tea, something she could have enjoyed when she was a human but the taste was rather blank.. there was nothing. It didn't even taste like water did. Which made her frown and look with a frowny face at the cup before she put it down.

Dressed in a dark red dress and her hair down made her stand out a little. New people that entered looked at her and she looked at them. It was getting annoying the vibe of blood. There was someone at the bar that had just cut his hand on a broken glass. There was a girl on the other side that might have cut her finger during peeling an apple or something because there was blood and a wound at her finger. Even so small and all, it was visible to her. A guy opposite her more at the door than at the back like her, had bumped his head on something because there was a wound hidden by his hair, but she could see the drops. She looked at the pet that was next to her chair.. "It's not fair now, is it my dear." Victoire only raised her head and shook it. They started to trust each other a little more now, since the change that was.

With smoke rising from the tip of his cigarette, and his hands in his pocket, Aonaka made his way through the streets of Oak. His eyes met with the gray clouds on the sky for a minute as he thought about how long he had been walking. Half an hour? 2 Hours? There was nothing in his life at the moment than walking. His life had dulled for so long. He realized his cigarette was dangling from his lips, and took order to himself and gently dusted the shoulder of his coat. His smokey trail mixed in with the somber air he radiated with no knowledge.

Perhaps it was for the best. A dull life had the most open canvas to be filled with grace and nobility. If it wasn't dull, then it probably had a disgraceful side to it. He didn't want to be like that. He couldn't. Art was enough for excitement, or so he hoped as he slowed down his steps, but it wasn't.

In front of him he got a scent. A scent that was easy to follow, yet it was mixed with the unpleasant smell of alcohol. "Tea." he said, almost hissing, between his closed teeth ever so silently. Perhaps it was sage, he liked his tea, but he wasn't a gourmet of it. He took easy steps as he looked around with raised eyebrows and slightly sour expression. Drunk people. He didn't want to be here, but he had walked for so long, same streets again and again, that he desired a rest and a warm drink more than anything.

The wooden parts of the floor slightly squeaked beneath him and he started to unbutton his black coat, putting it on the stool next to him since it was unoccupied, and raised his fingers to call for the tender. He eyed his surroundings once more, there were people his age, mages, perhaps celebrating after getting a request rewards, loud laughing and such. His trance was ended by the clanking of the aromatic lime tea being put in front of him, causing a smile to appear on his face. He took the cup to his mouth when his eyes met something he didn't expect, a... wolf? or was it a fox? Pure white, standing gently. The woman with the red dress next to her, was she her owner? Maybe she was like him with animals. He couldn't help but notice the cup of tea as well. Among the ruckus of the classic pub noise, she had a different aura about her.

He gently raised his own lime glass without thinking much, as a way to say hello. He would quickly get captured by a small wave of anxiety that he tried to dim down with sips from his tea.

There was a new person coming in and Nastasya her eyes had followed him shortly. He wasn't bleeding, which was actually a relieve. She turned back to Victoire to see if the pole fox needed anything but she seemed to enjoy the warm company of the people and the little bit of fire that was behind them. Which was weird for a fox with ice powers but hey no one knew and no one was going to explain.

Her eyes scanned the room again and saw the new guy sitting at the table opposite her. When their eyes met, he lifted his glass as a greeting and she smiled a little. She took her own glass and copied the gesture. Maybe it was nice to get over and get to know him but she tried to keep far away from people because of the change. However she would still have to work with her guild members and well yesterday also happened and she had no idea why not apart from that one good reason. That's when Victoire did the work for her. The small fox walked towards the young man, it must have been something she felt or smelled but when Nasty called her out, the fox didn't return. Fine..

She stood up and took her cup of tea. "Sorry for her. She has never been so curious." she said as she eyed Victoire standing next to Aonaka and looking at him with her blue eyes.

It was a nice ad-don to his time in the pub that the woman was kind enough to return his gesture. After all, in the world that was this crowded and messed up, these kind of elite behavior was to be sought and applied, for it was the only way fitting for humans. It didn't take more than a few seconds and tea sips that Aonaka saw the white fox jump down from where it was and watched it's small little paws move towards him. The white fur and slow moment made a warm feeling rise with-in him. "What a graceful little friend." he mumbled to the woman who had followed her perhaps pet. He listened to the woman as he reached down to pet the fox, hoping it wouldn't bite.

He then turned to the woman and semi-forced a smile, "I work with animal companions, maybe that's why she had an interest on me." he said. He placed the cup on it's small plate and gestured towards the stool in front of him. "Why don't you sit down?" he asked, hoping that the woman would provide civil and quality entertainment. "I have a bird myself, but he isn't with me at the moment, sadly." he added. "Is the fox your pet? Or maybe the correct term would be companion." he asked her.

Nastasya couldn't help but feel happy when the stranger said Victoire was graceful. That indeed she was and pretty with her silvery white fur. She smiled again a little, it was surprising how much she had smiled to this person, that wasn't really like her. But she didn't care about it right now.

Victoire didn't seem like she wanted to leave and was reading whole stories in the smell of well probably his pets as he explained. She nodded when he made the statement. It did explain a few things. She actually didn't like that Victoire let herself be petted by this stranger but it was up to the fox not to her. "Thank you." she said after the seat opposite his was offered to her and she went to sit down, making sure to do it gracefully herself with the dress on. "I think companion is the better word for the stubborn little beast that she is. I found her in the woods, unconcious. I took her to the vet and she has decided to stay with me." She said and looked with a loving gaze at Victoire, "Strange how easy you get attached to such a little beast. But you have a bird as your companion?"

Thankfully, the fox didn't seem to mind that Aonaka petted her a little, a bite at a moment like this would be troublesome and embarrassing, to the point the thought of which made him gulp. He made sure to touch the fox as little as possible, to not disrupt the fox, her white fur and the owner, he didn't like his bird being touched himself, so he should've thought before making such move.

He smiled at his new stool-mate after she sat down. Aonakas eyes followed the flowing dress for a second and he appreciated the quality material it seemed to be before taking another sip of his tea and enjoying the taste. "You're welcome." he replied to the thanking words of her and almost instinctively reached for his packet of cigarettes, the black cover gleamed under the lights of the pub and the rich smell of clove and tobacco slowly capped the area around them. He almost closed the box before realizing his rudeness, slowly shook his head to his own dismay and gently placed the box open, towards the woman, "Please do not hesitate if you use." he said using a soft and raspy tone and lighted his own cigarette taking a huge breath while taking small amount of care not to exhale towards the woman.

"I see." he said after listening to the woman and her story of meeting the fox. "Beasts aren't like humans, I always assumed." he said, bringing his cigarette to his mouth and drawing a small circle with a smile, "They don't betray and understand loyalty." he told her, taking another puff. "My bird..." he trailed of for a second as bad memories flushed in. He leaned back lightly and gently rearranged the bottom of his red sweater because his fingers needed a job to do and exhaled from his nose before smiling again. "I found him when he was just in an egg. He helped me tons through a lot of situations." he said and stopped himself there. "They are truly exceptional creatures. My name is Aonaka." he commented and introduced himself briefly. He had no reason to rush the woman to introduce herself, which is why he avoided the questions of "What's yours, what's your name" and such.

She was still holding her tea cup but she looked rather amused. What role would she play today. What would she be apart from her annoying vampire self it would be more interesting to play something else. Iny Miny Moe. She gave a small smile again and let Victoire walk back to her and jump on her lap.

He offered her a cigarette which made it clear what role she would play. She took one and thanked him again, she asked him for his lighter, said she left hers. It would be a nice way to look like a classy lady. She softly petted Victoire between her ears. She listened to him, watched him closely, "You seem very attatched to your bird. I hope Victoire and I get a bond like that when I am able to spend more time with her." She listened to him some more and he said his name, which brought again a smile on her face and she first took an inhale of the cigarette, exhaled before she replied, "Nastasya."

"Oh, of course, this is my bad." Aonaka said swiftly before making quick moments to reach for his lighter. A small amount of fire magic would stand out right here and now, but he had no such skills and had to do it the classic way, but the passed opportunity of a stand-out act such as that made him slightly clench his chin. He considered whether to light her cigarette for her, but such act could be taken wrongly and there was no need for petty clash if intentions and understandings, so he would just slide the lighter on the table towards her as a slight sound of friction came out. He watched her light the cigarette and couldn't help but smile with empty open eyes. This town wasn't that boring, in the end, but perhaps interesting would fit this situation and his understanding of it better. "It has clove in it." he gently informed before sniffing and moving his thumb across his nose to scratch it very quick and focused back on the conversation.

Her comment about his bird made him avert his eyes with a sheepish smile. "Perhaps I do." he commented before taking another sip of tea. He looked at the remains in his cup and realized he might have to order another cup, perhaps mint this time. "I've always had a connection with animals and magical beasts, they are creatures of true admiration if I do say so myself." Aonaka said and looked at the fox on her lap and moved his cigarette that way to point at it. "You two do seem compatible and well understanding of each other from what I see here."

The woman was kind enough to share her own name with him, and Aonaka was glad she did. Within the puff of her cigarette smoke, her wording of her name, "Nastasya," was a beautiful scene, so much so that Aonaka couldn't help but admire the small remnants of smoke that danced outside from between her teeth to outside as she said her name. "Nastasya..." he trailed of and repeated after her. "That is a wonderful name, does it mean anything?"

Aonaka would raise his hand to call the nearest worker to order another cup of tea. "Mint green tea." he would say without looking at the worker. "Make the taste of the mint stand out." he would order and asked Nastasya if she wanted anything, but then again, not everyone was a fast drinker like him, and he wished he could enjoy his cups more slowly. "If you don't mind me asking, what do you do? Are you a mage? The most I've seen were quite..." he stopped in mid-word to search for a better meaning. "Barbaric?" he asked and let out a small chuckle.

She gracefully had taken his lighter to lit up the cigarette and blow the first bit of smoke out of her mouth. Aonaka added that there was clove in the cigarette and she looked at the cigarette that she was holding between two fingers in her right hand, "I already like this one better than my own." She admitted and she thought about the time she had done smoking, which was a long time ago and even not for a long time but it was good she had done it, so she wouldn't faulter and cough herself to hell and back.

Since her tea wasn't that important to her, she simply continued to smoke and not focus on the drink. It all tasted like nothing. So she was actually surprised (but didn't show) that she could taste the cigarette and the clove in there. She nodded when he said he always had some sort of connection with animals, that would come in handy. She looked at Victoire in her lap when Aonaka pointed it out, "You may have a point. But we have had our ups and downs. I think she has had quite some downs before I found her. So maybe I see ghosts that aren't there. I'm just not used to it. I traveled a lot so everything is different. I'm here already for quite a while."

Than came the time to introduce each other, he started. She eyed him. She had never thought about using other people. She had heard Yumi her comments in the back of her head. It was getting slightly annoying, she had seen the Khorne gathering. She had thought about what the others did but she had always been al-. Did it matter, she just met the guy. She shook her head slowly with a tiny smile on her lips as she said her name, "It comes from the name Anastasia and it means Reborn." It was more accurate since the last couple of days than it had ever been.

When he ordered new tea, she asked for a new one since this one got cold. She eyed the pub quickly, her lilac eyes scanning for the people covered in blood in her eyes. They were so easy to see. She wanted them to leave, and fast. Her gaze turned back to Aonaka when he asked her what she was doing, he asked it rather politely. Which gave her a reason to answer. "You are right I am a mage," she couldn't help but chuckle when he mentioned that the most looked barbaric, "Oak owns its barbaric state to the Guild of Phantom Lord. You could describe them as Chaotic Neutral, I bet there are a few big people in there that won't really stay neutral but the town took over the alignment." she obviously wasn't going to tell him she was part of Grimoire Heart. So there had to be a reason to why she was here. "I used to travel a lot. I lost my family not a long time ago and I just couldn't stay in Orchidia to bear with the burden. I actually sort of ran away to here." She tried to make her eyes turn a bit bigger and demanded tears to show up in the corner of her eyes. She had acted for so long that she might almost forget who she really was, but the tear was there, one was enough, in the corner of her left eye. She brushed it away and muttered an apology.

"Reborn huh?" Aonaka said while leaning back, he crossed his legs and relaxed his posture a bit more. "I forgot my own name, so I just picked a random one." he told her and chuckled before enjoying his tea and cigarette, which he took the last puff out off and put it out by pressing it to the ashtray. "Aonaka seemed fine enough, I suppose."

Aonaka eyed the clock from his peripheral vision. He felt like he had to worry, but it's not like there was any place he would be late to, Panthello had his foods ready and it's not like the bird got cranky when left alone. He sighed and returned his focus to Nastasya. "Sorry." he said for his aloof moment, and relished in the pain of embarrassment with no expression that would notify so for a split second.

"Oh, I see." he replied to her being a mage. "Please don't misunderstand me, I didn't mean they were all barbaric. I am a mage, and well, I do hope I act as civil as possible." he added to ensure he wasn't mistaken. But Nastasya's warm chuckle had eased him already. He took another big gulp of his tea while listening to Nastasya's explanation of Oak's state, which made him raise his eyebrows. "Guild, huh." he muttered. "I heard them but I am unsure about what they are exactly." he added. "Are you perhaps in one? Are they like... agencies or something?"

While asking however, Aonaka took extra care to Nastasya's choice of words, alignments to be precise and leaned back in pleasure. Hearing such words, which Aonaka associated a lot with from someone like Nastasya made his long walk a little bit more worth it.

After listening to Nastasya's words and a little but of insight about her past, Aonaka couldn't help but feel worried. With slow moments, he leaned forward, eyes locked on the place where a tear used to be. "I.. see." he managed to say. "Don't feel sorry, emotions relieve people of their past sometimes, and even in sadness you can find some sort of art and grace." he told her with a weird sense of wanting to console. He then thought for a split second before turning to Nastasya. "If you want, why don't we leave here, the atmosphere is getting heavy thanks to the drunkards and we can go to our separate ways afterwards."

He had forgotten his name, and he picked a new one. That's more or less what she had to do for her job as Grimoire Heart member but she sometimes forgot and she could curse herself again and again if she full automatism gave her normal name. She should really stop doing that. But it was too late, it wasn't possible to fix it so she should just go on with her act of a classy lady. She finished the cigarette not much later and put the last part in the ashtray, "It sounds like a nice name." she answered when he said his new name Aonaka sounded fine enough.

She waved his sorry away, she had pulled that act many times, it wasn't a problem. Maybe it was good if he left, maybe he would forget her name too. But actually she liked his company. She took her cup of tea from the waiter because if he would put it on the table, she wouldn't be able to reach. She wasn't even bothered by the fact that it was hot, "Don't worry about it. I totally got what you mean. There are some people that like to misuse their powers." If only he knew that she was a blood magic user, he might think different of her. They talked about Phantom Lord shortly, and he seemed to get the idea about the town before Aonaka asked her if she was in a guild. As if she would tell, "I am not part of a Guild. I don't have the feeling one really fits my way of living." she gave as some statement, "You will learn that Guilds all have there way of handeling stuff. For example Phantom Lord is from what I have heard a rather solo Guild. You are just there in case of back up. Fairy Tail on the other hand is like family. I am not certain about all Guilds since I do not participate in any. If I would look at some, it would be Lamia Scale, I would say that one is rather neutral on what really fits with them and what does not. For example Blue Pegasus seems to be for only the pretty people. Not my style." She gave a warm smile when she finished that, mentioning all the Guilds that were known in public, "Of course you could also join the Rune Knights but that also isn't really my thing."

After that she tried to fake the pain of losing a family. She didn't feel bad about them, she killed 3 of them herself. It wasn't a problem. He seemed to be focusing on where she had wiped away the tear, something that brought her joy that she was still hiding, it wasn't a moment to show that. It was her moment to apologize again, "Oh yes, we could leave. I must admit that I rather like your company. I'm sorry." It was something she added softly, as if she got the feeling that she was actually pushing him away from her. But it was all play, she was rather liking this one. This act was becoming one she might remember the most.

Her companion was the most informative, and Aonaka was grateful about learning more about the world he had thrown himself into. If his directional skills and memory was a bit better, perhaps he could piece together his memory to see where his "past" had happened. But alas that was a thing of past, and was nothing sort of a problem that would require re-attendance with the information he gained now. He nodded as he listened to her explanation and thanked her, "I'd say a woman like you would fit Blue Pegasus." he would compliment Nastasya before chuckling warmly and asking her to leave the place after seeing her sad face, hoping that the clear air would make her feel better.

How weird.

She had accepted the offer, and after paying for their drinks, which Aonaka didn't offer to pay for them all and acted like a complete piece of lumber, he wore his coat and met with Nastasya outside. he pointed towards the road with an open hand as if to say "After you," and started to walk with slow steps.

As the cold air brushed past Aonaka, who couldn't find any conversation topics and only concocted to replying whatever Nastasya could ask or tell him, he thought about his feelings. Nastasya wasn't in the middle of them, but he was yet to make anything stable with his life now that he was on his own, carrying a burden he didn't notice. Under the stars and the gray colored cold scenery around him, Aonaka realized that he was feeling warm after a long time. This nice interaction was some sort of thing that brought him back to the ground a little bit more.

"You know..." he mumbled without realizing. "I don't think I like this town." he continued to say. Then he silenced for a while and shook his head. "Sorry, that was out of nowhere." he said while smiling and looked at Nastasya. "Is there anything you want to do specifically? I am fine with just walking but it is only fair to ask."

Nastasya had given her speech about the guilds. Adding that she wans't exactly sure, which was true. She belonged only to one Guild and since Grimoire Heart was a secret, she didn't tell anything about them, for obvious reasons as well. She forced a blush to enter her cheeks when Aonaka said a woman like her should be able to join a Guild like Blue Pegasus, "You are just teasing," she answered but you could see that it made her happy because she was smiling.

She eyed him shortly when he put on his coat, she wondered what kind of person he was as she had just paid for her own tea. It was not a problem but it was something that she could use to try and find out what kind of personality he had. She left as the first of the two of them out of the building, she thanked him with a warm smile and looked if Victoire was next to her, "Have you been in Oak before?"

She looked up at him when he started to mumble which ended into him saying he didn't like this town. She couldn't help but laugh about it, "It is rather parculiar, isn't it?" she said with a soft chuckle, "It has it's charm if you only know where to find it. I love the Church, I'm not an illumin myself but it's a nice building," to destroy, "Or the gallery, we could go there, if you like art that is."

the "to destroy" part had me in stitches hahaha.
Aonaka was particularly enjoying the cold breeze that was caressing his face, and despite he was yearning for warmth, he also enjoyed the cood embrace that was a contrast after the athmosphere of the bar that had started to get somewhat suffocating. It wasn't a lie that he had good company also, after all.

The first thing was Nastasya asking if he had been to Oak before, to which Aonaka actually had to think before answering. His self-location knowledge was quite low because he didn't know where he was, to begin with. "I'm in Fiore, right?" he asked and thought to himself audibly at the same time, realising that it was a stupid question that was supposed to be in his mind he quickly continued his words. "I don't know where is were, honestly." he answered. "I've been in a lot of cities, I just kept travelling with the sum of money I had, however, this town is where it ran out." he told Nastasya. "Still looking around for jobs to do but not everything fits me." he commented.

Nastasya's chuckle to his self-commentary was a nice gesture, and Aonaka felt in the middle of gratefulness and embarrassment. But it seemed as if she hadn't minded his out of anywhere questionnaire. He joined her chuckle before listening to her and nodded hesitantly. "Particular... is a fitting word." he told her. And at that moment he remembered what Nastasya said about Phantom Lord being here and felt sick in his stomach for some weird reason but quickly never minded it.

Nastasya had seemed to have some ideas about where they could go, and both of them were interesting to Aonaka. "Well now," he said, thinking. "The churches are wonderful places, are they not. You just have to get rid of the corrupt believers and you will surround yourself with some dedicated, pure and probably eloquent people. While I love art myself, humans are the most versatile kind of art." he told her and forced a smile to ease his ramblings. "So I'd want to go to the Church, can you point the way?" he asked Nastasya and wondered in awe what kind of place he would find.

Nastasya was curious as to how Aonaka came here. Most of the people that ended up here had a job to do, such as herself but also as the Phantom Lord members and probably the Knights. she didn't know what to think of why he was here, that's why she asked if he had been in Oak before, trying to find little information that she could connect to other information. However he asked if he was in Fiore, to be sure and she couldn't help but chuckle, "Yes, yes you are." She tried to stop laughing, "Sorry," She started, "It sounded more funny than it is. I have never been outside of Fiore myself." was all she added to explain her laughing, it was indeed not even funny but maybe for her in this situation it was.

He easily explained himself and she nodded, she had been a traveler too, only she did had enough money to go everywhere and return home to find the person she had been looking for, for months, "I know exactly what you mean. I thank god can live of quite an amount of inheritance money but I need to keep my eyes open for jobs that fall into my personality description. As i said before, this is a town based on Phantom Lord and that's what you will find the most." Rough and Tough people that needed jobs and were used to living in a not entirely friendly way of cooperating with each other. Nothing she didn't like, she was glad to be with people like that instead of the fake people that did everything to be nice.

She suggested the Church or the Art Gallery to him and she listened to him, explaining somewhat what he would prefer. It was nice, how he talked and she could try to find her way in his thinking. She looked at him sideways as she went on to walk around Oak and when he told her the Church would be the place, she gave a warm fake smile and nodded, "Of course, follow me." and she went on to go to the Church, which had been her task, with Caius but the thing hasn't happened yet. Maybe it was time to find  Yumi soon and ask.

The church was a big building, you could see some things that might needed to be fixed and she was a little bit hesitant to enter the building at first, so she remained outside to show the building first, "Doesn't it look marvelous?"[/color]

"Hey! Is it that funny?" Aonaka asked with a sly smile when Nastasya started laughing at him. Perhaps showing naive sides weren't that bad if it was during the correct situations, such as this one. Given any other, Aonaka would be filled with fury, at himself, at his surroundings and then at the people around him, of course in a way that it isn't shown but bubbling inside. "Well that's one thing settled then," Aonaka said as they continued to walk, now sure where he was a little bit more.

They had talked about here and there, perhaps even comments about the places and shops they saw as they walked by until Aonaka made a comment about his current situation and Nastasya explained her own, agreeing with him despite the different states the two mages had found themselves in. She had talked about an inheritance money which caused Aonaka to cock an eyebrow. "Huh, are you from a big family or something?" he asked Nastasya. Given his past, he realized how different it could've been for her. Perhaps it was different kinds of hardships she had went through that hardened her to the eloquent person she is now, not everyone gained combat eyes, some people gained spiritual dignity, and from the short amount Aonaka had spent time with Nastasya, he would never rule out that possibility.

They talked about jobs afterwards, "Yeah... I check out around sometimes and it is definitively petty jobs. I'd hate to do them but hey, jewels are jewels." Aonaka would comment about it. "What kind of jobs fit you then?" He asked with a slight desire of learning more about Nastasya. He wondered if people could do the same to him based on his job selection. Nah, direct communication would always be better.

The church looked wonderful from outside and Aonaka eyed the great architecture with content in his center. "Whoa..." he whispered under his breath as he looked at the symbols, the big gate and the stained glass, stained glass was his favorite. "Well then, let's go." he said after Nastasya introduced the building very swiftly and Aonaka nodded before reaching for the door. However, at that point, he felt a sharp pain surge through his palm, the middle of his palm was punctured deeply by a loose screw on the gate. "What the--" Aonaka cried out slightly before looking at his had from real close. Warmth, life was seeping out in not huge but still much quantities. "This hurts, dammit." he commented still holding his wrist as his hand got redder and redder. "I suppose we will visit this another time," Aonaka said. "I will have to treat this before it gets infected, my apologies."

She couldn't help but laugh again, it seemed that Aonaka didn't mind but she tried to stop herself, it actually didn't fitted her character for today much. She needed to stay the classy lady. So at least she hid her smile with her left hand. As they continued to walk, Victoire darted away from somewhere out of no where and her little white paws were covered in mudd.  Nastasya rolled her eyes, "I told you many times Victoire. You will need to bathe everytime otherwise the hotel kicks us out."

They talked, continued, she pointed out shops, maybe he could use some hints right now, she didn't know when he arrived afterall. It wasn't a happy city where they would tell you everything you needed too know. Everything in this village could be dangerous, but she didn't add that obviously. They passed the alley in which she turned, and her purple eyes lingered a bit longer on there but not noticable. She listened to him again, turning her head slowly and nodding and telling her own, where obviously the question came from if she was from a wealthy family, she again nodded, let her eyes follow Victoire who was darting in front of them. She had to look absent minded, "Well you could say so. However since I'm the last living person of my family, it's rather a wealthy person." She didn't say her name yet, she had already messed up by giving her real name instead of the name she always used. How stupid of her. She was actually more curious to him and she blinked rapidly to make it look like she didn't want to cry. He said he had lost his name, she should have asked but it was now that they were talking, not really like before.

The topic changed to jobs, as she knew there were petty ones here, she had to keep her act going. And to remember. "Well, petty they are indeed," especially those they could all have done themselves, "I keep kids from stealing, since that's a good cause. I ask nicely for people to pay their landlord, also a nice cause, saves fighting and corruption. But that's about it." Which was obvious a lie but she covered most of the things that were needed here.

She asked if it wasn't marvellous and he seemed to like the building very well. He walked to the door and she hesitated a little bit more, what if they would recognize her? Well she had a different air over her so probably not besides she and Odin had escaped the wrath of the priests, run through the catacombs and came back and no one arrested her, she was fine.
She smelled it before she heard him, her eyes which were normally purple turned into bright red orbs without her knowing. She started to breath rapidly and took a step away from Aonaka whom didn't seem to notice it at this moment. Victoire came to her feet but she kicked her away softly, she needed to keep control.

It felt as if her fangs were growing, but it was just the pressure of needing the blood. She had been in control all day but seeing it, smelling it alone with fresh air and not combined with sweat, this close. It was difficult to breath. She swallowed hard and tried to stand up straight again and remove her hand from her mouth, but it didn't work yet. It was still too much, thank god he didn't turn around, "Good idea." she said with a strained voice, "Fix it first."

Pressing over the wound, Aonaka accidentally caused more blood to come put of the wound. "How can something so small bleed so much?" he questioned and realized the danger, quickly turning to look at the nail his hand got struck in to see if it was rusty. Thankfully, it didn't seem like it was. He thought about using his healing magic, however, as fickle as the magic was, self healing wasn't a possibility. He groaned silently, pain and annoyance mixed together. He tried his best to keep on a cool facade but the pain was very real. He hated the way he looked and wanted to get away from there immediately.

When he heard Nastasya's comment, he answered. "Yeah I checked the nail and it wasn't rusty or anyt--" he talked, cut off in the middle from what he saw from his peripheral vision. Nastasya's form was bending, her hand in her mouth, she looked in distress. He turned around quickly, the speed causing a single blood drop to fall to the ground, a small layer of panic embellished in his tone. "H-hey, you alright?" Aonaka asked her and walked one step closer to see if she was fine. "Talk about church huh, we had a double trouble the moment we came near it's vicinity." Aonaka mumbled off and looked at Nastasya's face. "Do you feel sic...k?" Aonaka said but towards the end of his sentence his words trailed off, as he had came in contact with Nastasya's eyes. Red eyes. He took a step back. "Are you... alright?" he asked once again, this time with uncertainty.

His hands on his side, his posture uptight and tense, a weird sense of danger yet allure clouded around Aonaka. Drops of blood falling from his hand to the ground echoed ever so slightly thanks to the rain puddles on the ground, and the echo made him realize how silent the streets were. They were alone on the street, the moon slowly showing up. Aonaka was at a lost for words.

It was only a matter of time before he would turn around and would see her and she tried with all the might and power that she had in her, to stop. She was fighting herself so bad, and she thought being a vampire wouldn't be such a problem. But apparently she couldn't handle the fresh blood that she smelled now. Why did hands bleed so much, why because every damn muscle kept pulling itself back and forth. Keept straining, kept bleeding, started dripping.

Since she was hunched over, he didn't noticed immediately. He probably thought she would faint any minute because of the sight of blood. Which would be a nicer way. However she could feel him muttering and stopping before he finished the word completely off. Her eyes looked up, the red orbs at his eyes, she could see some fear and she saw the step back, while she took the step closer. She couldn't help it, her hands stretched, made it some sort of hug, she hugged him, tightly, too strong for him maybe. She could smell the scent of human, feel almost his blood streaming and before she knew it her fangs were in the right side of his neck and she was drinking blood. His blood.

She had even liked him, it was ridiculous what she was doing. As soon as she was strong enough to resist, she let go, "Sorry." she let go of him completely and turned around, whistled once for Victoire and ran away, quickly to her hotel. Crying because strangers were okay but strangers whose name she knew, were a bit less than okay.

Her footsteps started to disappear towards the end of the street.

Aonaka was staring to the sky. His back lying on the cold floor that was now mixed with rainwater, mud and blood. The smell danced around him like a wild tendril, up from the ground towards his nose and captured him in ecstasy. What had just happened? He tried to gulp but he couldn't. His back hurt, his chest hurt, but nothing was comparable to the pain on his neck, like it was bitten by two stray firebeetles that came to him, fiery pain, spicy pain, emotions and senses mixed together as small drops of rain started to fell down again.

"Ha....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The fallen druid of a mage laughed and cackled. His right hand rose from the ground and he slapped it to his right eye like a grip, covering his right eye, fingers attached to his head like a devil's claw. He laughed as his irises started to grow smaller and smaller, his grin reached to his ears as his head moved erratically with each cackle. The pain was not important, neither that he was losing tons of blood.

He thought about a lot of things, he thought about where he was, and he saddened himself with his own thoughts. He was lost but he was laughing. He was crying, warm tears down his face but he was laughing. The blood felt like a warm embrace to his neck, crimson string where he was bitten.

Bitten.

Cold.

As the last shop owner close to Aonaka closed his shop's door and didn't look at Aonaka slightly, not wanting to get involved with whatever was going on, Aonaka realized that this town wasn't so boring after all.
