It was around the end of the afternoon and Alice had already done enough for today. However she just didn't sit down and stop for the day. Thinking about sleeping made her yawn and she gave herself some motivation to do something. Since it was the late afternoon everything was still open.

It might be a good idea to see more of the city of Crocus. For example she could visit the Gardens. She stretched her arms above her head and yawned one more time before she headed that way. She had enough money, had enough wallets stolen to go on for a couple of days in the cheap inn that she stayed at the moment.

The blue sky of this morning was now changed into grey clouds with some blue patches scattered across. She really hoped that it wouldn't rain, for she wasn't dressed for that, nor did she brought an umbrella. She was dressed in a skinny jeans with a grey sweater that showed her right shoulder. However that would not be seen easily for she was also wearing a black coat that reached just above her knees and dark blue high heels. Her orange hair swayed in the wind that was quite cold and she shivered a little just because of the feeling.

She entered the garden while most of the people were leaving and wondered around in the maze of plants and hedges. She didn't recognize many flowers, the most easiest ones like roses and irises she knew, but that was about it. She yawned again while turning a corner.

Miyu Kazuyo
Miyu came out of her small, 'temporary' home, looking gloomier than ever. The rays coming from the sunlight are being blue, rather than being yellow. She was sure that winter days make strawberries and other berries spread through bushes, she decided to go to the gardens, like what she does every single day.

She came of her house, feeling the chills down to her spine. Miyu put her hand out as a snowflake fell down on her hand. It was colder than ever. She went back inside to close her coat, hiding her chest and her stomach to reduce the coldness of her body. Again, she came out, and her breath made a fog to show how cold it is.

The blue skies turned gray. She sniffed the air, although she cannot sense rain, she knows what it smells like. "0.5% chance it would rain." She told herself. However, she did not prepare for rain. She knew that her leather coat and hood would be thick enough to avoid getting herself wet. She never owned an umbrella. Not because she doesn't have the jewels for it, but because she thinks that she did not need it.

Finally, she sighed, locking the door of her house as she left. The snowflakes were disappearing slowly, but Miyu has not noticed. Walking towards the gardens, she saw people leaving. She knew for herself that she hated people. Being the introverted person she is, she avoided everyone. Miyu was sure that nobody was in the garden, she entered the arc of hedges and walked around, sniffed the fresh air, and checked for bearing berries.

She turned a corner, and saw an oranged haired girl. She walked pass her, pretending not to notice. Keeping her straight face, she turned another corner, avoiding the girl she just saw.

Alice was a person that thought every thing and everyone was against her. When she rounded the corner, she absolutely didn't expect another girl to show up. Well it was a bit her own stupidity that didn't think about someone else joining the gardens. The Gardens covered a lot of ground, they didn't even have to meet and how many more lonely could be here, she didn't know.

However this girl had some sort of arrogance over her. She didn't even smile to her as a greeting, she simply passed Alice. Pretending not to see her at all. And oh boy Alice knew she was abscene with her red hair. She wondered how she could get the attention, say some snide remarks without being mean. "Excuse me." She tried with the most friendly voice that she could come up with. She turned back around the corner where she just came from, if she got the attention from the girl, she now must find out a question she could ask. You work here was a stupid one. "I was wondering if you notice that the flowers don't carry any signs. I don't know much about flowers or their names. Does it bother you?" she was really surprised by her own question. Alice liked to be just as surprised as the other person when she spoke, apparently today. She had wanted to ask if the chick new where the exit was or anything else that made her walk away but no Alice her brain just started a conversation.

The wind wasn't able to go through the hedges, so Alice was safe from the wind and up till now also from the rain that still wasn't there. She wasn't sure what to do or how to stand now she had asked a ridiculous question. She just crossed her arms in front of her chest and let her hips sway to one side, leaning on her right leg and simply staring with her brown eyes to the girl opposite her.

Turning in the corner, she heard loud footsteps. probably from a person or a child running, she couldn't sense it. Miyu continued to walk slowly, then the footsteps stopped a meter behind her. Miyu stopped walking as well.

"Excuse me." The girl said. Miyu sighed in her mind, trying not to be rude. She turned around slowly, headfirst, and raised a brow. What will the girl say? Miyu wouldn't know. She isn't a powerful mage to read minds. "I was wondering if you notice that the flowers don't carry any signs. I don't know much about flowers or their names. Does it bother you?" The girl asked, positioning herself into a standing position that she would be comfortable at. "No, it doesn't." Miyu replied, lightening her shoulders a little bit.

Miyu was thinking if the girl in front of her might want to know the name of a certain flower; Miyu knows them all. The silence made the Miyu blink a few times, quicker than how she normally blinks. "... Why?" She tried. She asked why. Miyu wasn't really the type of person to be talking to someone, she usually leaves them alone after answering one time. But that girl seems to think that Miyu's gloomy aura affects her surroundings. She wouldn't want that, she wouldn't want another person to have a bad first impression.

Alright so the stupid question was dropped and it was ridiculous but she had already asked it, so she didn't want to walk away and mutter a never mind. She was too prideful maybe for that or maybe if you voiced it differently: too stupid to admit.
However the other person didn't seem to be bothered about the fact that there were no signs. She should probably visit in the summer instead of in the winter and maybe in the high season there were signs. The other one shrugged even and now she had to come up with a thing to say and again: that wasn't Alice her strongest point today. "You know all the plant names?" she said curiously because that was the only reason that she could come up with that it didn't bother people. She didn't even think that someone wasn't interested in names.

"Oh you know. I think it's interesting to know the names." it was Alice her time to shrug, it wasn't that important but she hated the not knowing more than the knowing. For example if she was in a shop later if she would ever buy flowers, she wouldn't know the name, she would have to point. Than why would you go and visit the Gardens in Crocus. It was just stupid.

What's up with her...? Miyu asked herself. The girl is obviously stuttering, and the words coming from her mouth seemed unsure. Miyu's head leaned a bit to the left and raised an eyebrow, but kept silent. But the thing bothering her wasn't just the girl's mood and personality, but the symbol on her left arm. She knew what that is. She remembered a friend from her that guild, however, did not remember what her friend's name was. The people from Phantom Lord are usually evil looking, with lots of scars and tattoos. But the girl remained happy and nice, and kind off mindless perhaps. "Oh you know. I think it's interesting to know the names." She said with a shrug, keeping her pace. Miyu is losing time to breathe. She felt like escaping the oxygen of communication. Not knowing if she should accept the offer or not, she breathed in, inhaling a small amount of air. "You are from Phantom Lord, are you not?" Miyu asked, keeping her nice tone and questioning expression.

She didn't try to intimidate the girl. Her expressionless face is enough to scare a child, she didn't want to get her voice sound like she was angry. Speaking like a noble would make her scary persona look a bit good. Like an angel helping you out when you are crying and needy. But of course, Miyu looks nothing like an angel. Her white hair would make her look like one of God's fellows, but her face seemed too emotionless to make her look like one of those.

She wasn't sure where the question came from, neither if it was a serious one. She knew even without looking that her left arm was covered in her black leather jacket and thus no one would be able to see her Phantom Lord insignia. Was this girl super good at guessing or something?

However her eyes remained clear and not surprised at all as she simply shrugged, "That's ridiculous. Are you offending me by guessing I'm a Dark mage? That's really, really ridiculous." again she crossed her arms in front of her chest and shook her head. "Never mind my question." Alice said and she turned around, it took the greatest of affords not to pull her jacket closer around her. She simply turned around and went to look for the exit.

Exit.

Curious as ever, Miyu was utterly confused. The girl left quickly, feeling quite annoyed for something Miyu did not know off. "That's ridiculous. Are you offending me by guessing I'm a Dark mage? That's really, really ridiculous." The girl said with a serious face. Miyu became as confused as before. Miyu wanted to speak, but the girl was speaking too fast that she couldn't move her lips, nor her head and body. The girl probably had troubles, or perhaps, a really bad history. They didn't even exchange names.

"Never mind my question." The girl said and walked out with crossed arms. Miyu thought that she was quite rude. Or, just mood swings from the weather's mood. She couldn't understand why. Except, understanding that she really couldn't communicate properly like a human being. She turned around as well, going for the second exit just in time as the rain was sprinkling.
