Kazuki
"Mister, are you a Wizard?"

Kazuki stopped his progression through the streets, which was admittedly leisurely, and turned to the source of the voice. It was a small boy and Kazuki merely blinked once before he folded his arms and spoke. "What makes you think that?"

The young kid pointed at his hand, which bore the Fairy Tail mark, and Kazuki gave a wide grin. "Ah. Well, ya got me." The blonde haired man looked around once, twice, before he squatted and spoke again. "Wanna see a trick?" The kid nodded enthusiastically and the Earth mage picked up a pebble. He showed it to the boy before he flicked it upwards with his thumb. He then made the pebble whiz around the boys head, orbiting him like Earth did the sun which caused the boy to near scream in delight. The pebble stopped just in front of the boy, and only finally dropped once the young lad outstretched a palm. "You keep it," the mage spoke before ruffling the kids hair as he stood. "It's lucky now."

The kid clutched the pebble and nodded furiously to the wizard as Kazuki waved and turned as he began walking down the street yet again.

Rishi had been walking down the streets of Magnolia, sipping her ice cold, fresh squeezed, homemade lemonade. She had enjoyed the streets, as it seemed that was where most of the fun happened. She had her hair up in a ponytail today, as she wanted to be able to feel the cold winter air on her neck, something she hadn't felt in a long time. She had been smiling, and her day had gotten a little better when she had seen a mage showing a kid a little trick, and she had seen it had brightened the kid's day. She ran around the alleyway that was next to her and had came out in front of the blonde mage. "That was quite a trick you showed that kid," she had said in a light and childish voice. Her red eyes shown brightly in the sun, and the shadow she had wished was behind her was non existent. Sometimes she had missed her old life, not having to live the life of a monster, but that just seemed to be who she was, and she was going to have to accept it. "My name is Rishi, what's yours?" She had said to the man smiling.

Kazuki
Kazuki had continued his walk, hands being placed back into the pockets of his hide pants. His mind began to wander as he gazed at clothing shops--he should get new clothes. Those that he wore had been stitched from hide by his mother, and while durable, they hardly fit the fashion in Fiore. He supposed that was the price to pay for growing up in a quiet, small town. He wasn't ungrateful, of course, he'd be remiss if he didn't admit he missed his parents and his sister, and wrote to them weekly.

The sound of sing-song voice, but more importantly a feminine one, brought the Earth mage's blue-green eyes from the shop windows to the young lady in front of him. At her explanation, he found his face actually flushing as he rubbed the back of his neck. He glanced away. "Ah, that's hardly fair. If I knew a pretty lady was watching I woulda done a cooler trick!"

Being put off didn't last long as he gave a large grin, a small almost giggle following. "Kazuki Kobayashi, Fairy Tail Guild Wizard. I'd add extraordinaire, but...if ya didn't recognize me, I'm hardly extraordinary yet! Nice to meet ya, miss Rishi!"

Rishi had smiled at the man. His fashion didn't really fit in her book, but it made him quite unique. She had never seen such clothes before, and they seemed to be made out of animal hide. "must be itchy," she thought to herself as she had thoroughly looked at the man, her head and eyes moving up and down the slightest bit, her eyes ending up running back into his. His words had been soft and rather cute, and the compliment that had come from him and only made Rishi giggle. Her eyes had glimmered in the sunlight, giving off a mystical feeling, and she had been pleased to hear that this man had been a Fairy Tail mage as well. It was always nice to meet new people, and especially if she was supposed to be in an alliance with them.

"Oh cool you're in Fairy Tail too! That's pretty cool, I wasn't expecting to see any members of the guild out here today," she said in a soft tone. "Hey uhm... where did you get those clothes from? They're a bit odd to be wearing in a place such as this." She sort of wanted to help him get new clothes, as that had sort of been what she had specialized in. She thought for a second while waiting for a repsonse.

Kazuki
The Dragon Slayer looked her over as she surveyed him, perhaps both sizing the other up. She was incredibly pale, a start contrast to Kazuki's tanned skin. She also smelled...off, he wasn't sure if it exactly her, either, as they were close to the canals. Still, his smile didn't fade and neither did the mirth in his eyes.

As she stated she wasn't expecting to see any members outside, Kazuki came to the conclusion that she too was a Fairy Tail wizard. Of course the inclusion of the word 'too' would have also been a dead giveaway, but Kazuki himself would admit he wasn't always the sharpest knife in the drawer.

As she asked after his clothes, the Slayer felt the heat creeping back to his cheeks. "Ah, honestly? My mother made them for me when I left home." He tapped the boots on the ground. "Lightweight, durable, but...well, we don't know much of fashion way out there, so...I can understand the question." A laugh was given here, shrugging. "I'm still relatively new to Fairy Tail, and it's all I can do to keep food in my belly and a roof over my head."

He was implying, of course, that he wasn't exactly strong enough to take the more lucrative jobs, and only had money for basic necessity. "But I like your clothes. Fashionable, I'll take a guess, but I think they're cute. Suits you." A wink was slid in here, obviously the man was a shameless flirt when it came down to it. He gestured for her to walk with him. "I was actually on my way back to the guild. Allow me to accompany you, if you're going the same way?"

Rishi had been quite surprised with what this man had to say, as he had caught her off guard. He would make flirty compliments, and her face would become more flushed as it happened.  She had never had anyone act in such a way towards, and so she was a bit confused. She wasn't exactly sure what she was supposed do, nor how she was supposed to act. His story on where his clothes had come from was quite adorable, seeing as she had never heard of anyone making clothes for someone else out of such materials before. The clothes didn't look terrible of course, they just didn't really fit in too much. She had thought for a second before replying to the compliment, " Aww thank you! I do try to keep my fashion as up to date as possible, and i'm happy to hear that someone likes it as much as I do." After she had said that though she had realized that there was a wink there, and it had almost slipped past her. She had a slight smile on her face as that wink had faded, and her face had turned pink. She couldn't really control it of course, but she would like to hide those feelings and let them out later rather than them show themselves right then and there without her consent.

He had signaled for her to follow him, and he had wanted to see if he could walk with her back to the guild. She needed to finish up her daily work around there anyways, so she had happily said, "Of course! I wouldn't mind having you around, you seem like a nice guy," and with that she had started walking along the street, next to the mage that she had just met yet had a strange feel for.

Kazuki
At the agreement to walk back with him, Kazuki's grin widened to a full smile. "Awesome!" Said simply as he began walking. Though, her words of him being a nice guy made him laugh. "Yeah, my mom use to tell me that too, but she would say 'Kaz, you're too nice to strangers! What if they kidnap you!' " He laughed at this. "There weren't even any strangers in my village! Who's gonna kidnap me, the cows?!" His blonde locks wave as he shook his head, the memories of home always bringing a warmth to him. Perhaps the wise words of his father were true: you never truly know what you had until it was gone.

Every day, as a boy, he had wished to leave home--was ready to. And now that he had, he couldn't stop wondering how everyone was doing, how they were filling in the hole his absence left. After all, he had his own set of chores, and now with him gone, they had to distribute them to other people which only increased an already decent sized work load. No doubt his sister took them, willing to help out for her brother's sake in any way possible. Damn, he missed her. Daily. She was his best friend and confidant, he told her everything and she him.

"So, tell me about yourself Ms. Rishi."

Rishi had been laughing non-stop, as the stories this man had told were just hilarious. She was enjoying her time, and was glad that she had come out today. She was planning to just finish up her guild chores an go home, but coming outside for a break really did make her life a lot better. She had met a man that she would never forget, and this was one of the best times of her life so far. He had wanted her to describe a rather peculiar thing though, and that thing was herself. She wasn't really sure how to respond, as she never really had to explain anything like that to anyone before. "Well uhm... there isn't really much to say. I like fashion, lemonade, cookies, and hanging out with you! Of course the last one was just added a few seconds ago but I think it's a good addition," she said with a big smile on her face. Her feet glided across the floor and her hair flowed in long arcs behind her, the white strands blending in with the clouds. Her smile could be seen from a mile away, and her eyes shone brightly against the sunlight. Today was a good day, and the decisions she had made she felt were the right ones, otherwise she would have never gotten this opportunity.

Kazuki
Kazuki folded his hands behind his head as they walked, listening to her speak on herself he noted that she said there wasn't much to say. Of this, he had his doubts. She was a guild wizard, after all, so surely she had some tales of the things she's done. Even if they weren't flashy, experiences like that made them who they were. Kazuki reminded himself he would do well to remember that for his sake, too.

"Well, I'd say you're leagues ahead of me in the fashion department!" He gave a chuckle here and noted that she liked cookies and lemonade. Lemonade was hard to come by in the village, in fact they didn't even grow lemons there. The trader, which only came once a year, would have to bring them with them when he did. So when he arrived, lemons--among other things--were coveted in the village. He remembered a particularly bountiful harvest season that saw his family net a couple for themselves. Being the first to try one, the six year old boy then had his sister try it--insisting it wasn't sour--and laughed for days at the face she made as she bit into one with a full bite. Even now it brought a boyish grin to his face.

At her words of hanging out with him, however, the Slayer found himself at a loss of words. He merely flashed her an earnest smile, and a small 'you too' as they walked unsure of what to say. Usually more quick with his come backs and remark, he was slightly fascinated at how quickly she had disarmed his wit with a simply sentence. He recovered, of course. "Aw, that last one nearly made me blush!" Said with another chuckle as he navigated through the streets. "I'm sure there's more to you than that, though. Like, you're a princess from a faraway land, or a guild wizard and part time assassin, saving the world from one nefarious politician at a time!" Of course both of these were far, far stretches, but Kazuki was if anything, a bit of a goof.
