It was another round of supplies, seemed it was all he did in Baska so far, gathering supplies that is. He wasn't sure how long his journey was going to be but today he's decided to take it easy with the items he bought. Instead of spending all of his money in one place he obtained only the over coat he had his eye on and another bandanna. The objects didn't cost him much, a few jewels and all. Now he was sitting in the bar about to enjoy a bit of dinner. It was the middle of the night, thus the bar was only now beginning to get packed as he had already ordered himself a meal and a drink.

His meal was simple, a sandwich, bacon, lettuce and tomato, simple is as simple does and the bartender made it extra simple for him. His drink was only a beer, adding on to his simplicity. It was a tankard filled to the brim with the golden ale. Wit a bite of his sandwich he downed his drink before coughing, the food going down the wrong hole as he beat his chest for a moment to straighten himself out. He knew better than to eat swiftly, but it was nice so nice to enjoy himself that he had gotten carried away.

She walked down the street with a bitch face on. She cared about no one enough to care how she looked at them. It was enough that she has one friend who she actually did care about, Kaede. She wasn't here still and never will she be. By a guess she was still in Oak, waiting for her or doing her own thing. Seraphina felt in need of a bar and tonight she wore a red cocktail dress that went down to the upper part of her knee. On the left side was a slit-cut that revealed some of her thigh, but not too much.

She wore inch heeled boots of black, spiked cuffs on her wrists and wore silver hoops for earrings. Today was rather a night to enjoy and to enjoy was its own meaning to what one desired. For her? For her it was to ignore people's existence unless they were the waiter, bartender or someone who fucking pisses her off. She tried her best to ignore all that weren't in those categories. Finally she opened up the door to find gazing eyes of perverts and thirsty men and women who didn't care what gender you were, but being herself she walked passed them all to the bartender to order some things up. ''Hey, bartender?'' she spoke in a cold dominatrix tone while slamming her hand on the table. It was loud here, so why not? The man turned around while cleaning a jar that once had beer in it with a clean handkerchief. ''I'll have three shots of the dead four horsemen.'' she ordered up. ''For food, let's have cheese-balls and a burger with cheese, lettuce and bacon. A thing of ketchup too! Thanks man.'' she spoke and put down some money for it. She motions her hips and butt to sit on the stool of red cushion goodness as she waited.

Baron took another bite of his sandwich and a swig of his beer. If only he knew just how much his night would be changing. He jumped a bit when a woman came in and dominated the tone of the room, the bartender seeming like a bumbling mess as he did as he was told. Baron spared a glance to the woman and much to his surprise it was her! "It's you!" he chirped with joy as he drank the last of his beer and took a few bites of his sandwich. He smiled at her warmly and hopped down two cushions to sit next to her. She was probably in no mood, but he'd try his best to speak formally.

"How are you doing? Oh and... I am sorry about the gym I ended up freezing up there like an idiot and... You're not... Gonna accept the apology are you?" he'd nervously laugh as he to stir up some conversation though his nerves were getting the better of him at the moment. When all else failed and he couldn't wrack his mind for an answer he'd tap the bar and speak to the bartender, "Uh, her drinks and food are on me." he tried his best to crack a suave grin.

She really waited for that drink or two... even three. Not only that the food at bars were the greatest as the grilled food amazing compared to the dumb crap rich people fed you. She remembered eating at the balls, dancing, eating what people described as grilled food, but this... this! This was grilled food. She thought of that as soon as the bartender was yelling at the cooks to hurry, afraid of her wraith. As she was waiting she heard a voice that sounded all too familiar. Her eyes lowered, left eye twitching as she looked at the man, Baron. ''Yes, what about it?'' she spoke coldly and looked at him non-satisfied.

He spoke about last time they met and all of that drama. Her eyes of brown coldness gazed at him. ''It's in the past. I honestly don't care.'' she spoke and saw the plate be put down. The burger was four inches thick, bacon was grilled nicely, lettuce fresh and this was going to be great. Her heart was pounding with love for it as she took a deep breather. ''I am here just for food. I don't really care what you think or do. This food is fucking great though!'' she spoke and took a bite. She loved food, more than one could imagine by looking at her. Possibly this was something in common she had with a specific woman she met not long ago.

She had such a vulgar tone, he loved it about her but he was also fearful and rightfully so. He couldn't blame her, she's an angry woman and he liked that about her in fact the liked it so much that the coldness in her eyes was met with warmness from his smile. He didn't care if she disliked him, nor did he care if she went as far as to not care about him he wanted to get to know her and if it hurt him in the end he wouldn't mind. In fact he'd smile at her longer and nod, "The food is pretty good, so how about we get some more? Like a lunch." he inquired not wavering. What could he say? She was beautiful and even if she hated his guts he'd still think so.

What could he truly say about her? Her eyes were fierce, her expression cold, and her demeanor dominant like a lioness, forceful and domineering. She was angry, neutrally so and when she entered a room everyone would know. To Baron she was a goddess where to most men she was a prize, to him she was the light of the heavens personified, to others she'd make a wife fine and dignified. He wanted her, he knew he did, but she despised him and filled him with dread. With words diminishing he'd speak, hoping she'd listen and feel them a treat.

"Fair maiden, I know you do not care for my presence, but you are so beautiful and radiant I must asks, is there anyway I can get you to smile? I know you hear those words alot... And I know you want me to leave you be, but I don't know what it is about you I must know you more, unless you want me to depart."

She plucked a cheese ball into her mouth, feeling the warm bread and the cheese melting within her mouth. Her tongue swirled the texture of the cheese before swallowing it all in a gulp. After a few, several she then grabbed for her shot and took one, feeling the alcohol run it's course. 'Damn, these hit hard.' she thought. Her eyes winced in how strong this drink was and then shook it off. ''Hey! Excuse me. Can I have a huge bowl of pineapple?'' she spoke coldly and calmly as she would make a small tiny smile as she received them. Her head bowed as it spoke for it, meaning thanks from where she was originally from.

Her head turned towards Baron who spoke to her again. What was wrong with this guy? Did he like games? Cause she will disappoint him. As soon as he said fair maiden, she spoke. ''Stop there. I am no Maiden nor fair. As to that, don't compare. Twas true that I am unmarried, beautiful I may be, but those words lack intelligence you see. Most men use it for humor now-a-days, pigs they are.'' she spoke coldly and calmly once more as she forked a piece of fruit into her own mouth. She thought for a moment and looked at his appearance, thought on his personality so far and cornered her eyes to look at him. ''Just call me Sera or Seraphina.'' she started and looked away. ''Dumb name. I know. Named after some stupid legend and race.'' she spoke once more and sighed, taking another shot.

It seemed his not so bold approach worked though she immediately corrected him, aye she wasn’t fair but boy was she lovely and there was nothing that’d change that.He liked her assertive nature, even if she was cold about it. Even the small smile she had cracked when getting more food made him feel elated at the sight. It was likely she could crush him with little effort but he wouldn’t waiver as said before! He was a man and would do what he pleased and if that meant sitting next to her passive aggressive self… So be it! Maker bless his body for the beat down that may come. Every blow she hit him with would be one of love as he hoped her anger would turn into pleasure.

“Your name isn’t.. Dumb… Haven’t really heard anything like it… But uh… I don’t know... “ he cleared his throat, he was feeling himself become nervous now as he spoke to her. This was far longer than their last conversation and it was already getting to him, he remembered what she said about men being pigs and wanted to refute it… “I-I uh, I hope I don’t sound a pig to you, b-but if I do um… You can totally tell me to… I’m sorry!” he spun his chair the opposite direction and moved back three seats away. He couldn’t do this.. She was too womanly, too beautiful, he was too shy, too reserved… She was so far out of his league!

Baron was talking carefully or so it seemed. He was trying to not mess up and honestly it interested Seraphina. 'This man is trying hard to please.' she thought as she tilted her head a little, her cheek against her hand as the elbow was on the table-counter. Her brown chocolate eyes gazed at him as she became curious about him actually. He wasn't bad looking, rough on the edges, but not bad. She didn't mind a rough bear-like guy as she wasn't into the playboy types. They were too much drama and didn't care much about em. He stuttered words, unsure on what to say exactly as he spoke about her name not being completely dumb. 'How cute.' she thought and inner smirked within her soul part.

He was flustered as he moved away from her. Slowly, with the free hand she grabbed a piece of fruit and nommed on it after plucking it with a toothpick. ''If you like someone, don't be a pussy. Be a man and own up to those feelings.'' she spoke coldly and calmly, almost mono-toned like usual. Her eyes looked away while nomming on pineapple on that toothpick. 'Wonder how many women he has flirted with so far.' she wondered and then looked at him. 'Too many perhaps.' she thought once again and took a deep soft breather. ''Are you coming back here or not?'' she questioned somewhat irritated in her cold tone, eyes slanting beautifully annoyed.

Baron was ashamed of himself, he couldn't look at her or anyone else at the moment. He had looked a fool in front of her and wanted to die for doing so. he didn't mean to look an idiot but just seeing her made him flustered up and nervous. Never before had this happened to him, never before had he truly ever flirted with a woman or had even been alone with one for more than ten or so minutes if he wasn't related to her. This woman was just... So interesting. Sera was her name and Sera, if she could read his mind she'd know very well that he didn't have a clue how to speak to her without sounding like a doofus.

He was ashamed and kept his eyes on the bar whilst the bartender and some bar goers that had already been staring at the woman silently watched before turning their attention back to what they were doing. He half expected her to smack him for speaking to her when she first spoke, but instead she asked if he was coming back or not? Not wanting to look a fool he carefully slid back over to her. Even when she was annoyed she was beautiful.. Maker, what was she doing to him?

"I'm sorry I'm annoying you and all..." her words earlier were true, if he was interested he should have said so, but how was he to speak to someone like her? She was so intimidating. "I mean... I do think you are uh.. I do think I might... I think you're very neat and stuff and I would like to tell you that I do think I might want to get to know you better..."

Baron looked at clock and nodded, it seemed it was about time he got going. He patted the woman on the shoulder and gave her a hug. "I'll see you later, I gotta get going my dear. Clock is running and I'm almost out of time." he nodded to himself. There was no time to waste, he needed to get going and run along home before he was scooped up by the night sky. He wandered out of the bar and headed out of the bar stretching his arms and legs as he exited. He looked around and thought to himself, maybe just maybe he secured himself a chance. Just maybe though, he would have to meet her again.

He rubbed his hands again, and left out swiftly pulling his hood over his head. Sera was beauitful, but too beautiful for him it seemed. he would maybe see her again one day but for now he had to get on with his life and wave back to her as he left for good. Not for good, but well, he went on his way. He marched into the night with a smile on his face. He totes talked to the girl he was crushing on and that made him so happy he could hop and skip.
