Bianca might as well apply for a full time job at the theater. After the previous job that involved fighting a bald man who was a bodyguard for the director at the theater, here she was again sitting on the double bed in her inn room as she opened another envelope from the theater. This time it was Rebecca and not Alice. She wondered what the girl wanted this time. Maybe she wanted another person killed? Bianca did not mind. In fact, she was actually excited to see what was written in the letter. Unfortunately this time she just wanted Bianca to sneak into Alice’s dressing room to put a letter for her. The more she worked for these people at the theater, the more she realised how dark they were. The first few requests were simple ones that even legal mages could do for them, but they probably did not want the good guys to find out what dirty dark secrets they had. That was probably why they reached out to dark mages in the first place. Bianca went out to her veranda for a morning smoke. She dressed up in a simple outfit - a T shirt and shorts and left the inn again with the letter folded neatly in her back pocket. By now the innkeeper was friends with her, so she asked where Bianca was headed to. The vampyress simply replied by saying that she had a job to do. The innkeeper lady nodded and said ‘good luck’ to her. Bianca wondered if she needed it.

She took a shuttle bus this time that went from the center of the inns to the park, then to the theater, then back to the inns area again. She only discovered this shuttle bus recently when the innkeeper lady told her about it since she saw Bianca going out almost daily and coming back late in the evening. Bianca thanked her for this information. She could save the energy she used for walking for other things, like fighting bodyguards and killing snitches.

Bianca entered through the backstage door again, remembering that Rebecca’s dressing room was closer to that compared to Alice’s. She would sneak in there first to get the letter and then sneak into Alice’s room to place it there. This was easier than the last job, although it was ranked the same. Of course she would have to be sneaky and who knows who she might run into while doing that. She did not use a disguise or anything because that would make things more obvious. She would pretend to be doing a simple job for Rebecca in case she ran into anyone else. She was good at telling lies, so hopefully this would go as easily as she expected it to. The vampyress, once she was inside the backstage area, sneaking into Rebecca’s room. Since she was a vampire and everything, she was completely soundless and unless someone actually saw her with their eyes, she was never there at all.

Shutting the door quietly behind her, Bianca searched Rebecca’s dressing room for a letter. Since Rebecca was not there, all she had to do was find the letter and proceed to getting into Alice’s dressing room to plant it there. Rebecca’s dressing room was a mess compared to Alice’s. Her makeup supplies were literally scattered everywhere on the dresser and her name was written sloppily on the back of her chair. While Alice’s was printed on a shiny cloth in a pretty cursive, Rebecca’s was literally just written in some ugly red ink on a dirty cloth wrapped around the backrest of the chair. Bianca made sure she did not make a mess of what was already a huge fucking mess while she browsed through each and every drawer to find out where the stupid letter was, until she found it between all the makeup supplies. She knew she should have looked there first thing but she did not want to make noise in case she dropped something since they were literally in messy piles. Thankfully she was able to take the letter out of the mess with an incredible amount of patience and determination.

She blew the powder off the envelope and took quiet steps towards the door, twisting the knob very slowly and carefully so that she did not make any sounds. She hid the letter under her shirt. The corridor was empty, so she turned in the direction of Alice’s dressing room which was just a few steps away. Bianca kept her eyes forward, wondering if there was anyone standing near her dressing room, or if anyone was watching her. At the exact moment she reached Alice’s dressing room, a tall male rested a hand on her shoulder from behind. “What are you doing?” he asked. The vampyress turned immediately so that his hand was off her shoulder, almost smacking him across the face. With a relieved look and a sigh, Bianca gave him a look.

“Gosh! Don’t scare me like that! I’m just bringing something for Alice,” she said as though she was so surprised. The guard or whatever he was gave her a look of suspicion and then turned away. Bianca simply entered Alice’s dressing room, naturally, since the guard was still there and probably watching her like a stalker. She shut the door behind her, taking out the letter from under her shirt and putting it on the dresser. She actually stopped to wonder where she should actually place the letter. The dresser was the most obvious place. She would see it right when she entered, but maybe that was not a great idea. Bianca looked around, and then noticed Alice’s coat on a hanger. It was the coat she wore a lot. Bianca took the letter and then carefully placed it in the coat’s pocket. With a satisfied smile, she walked over to the door to leave. Her job was done. Well, half of it. Now all she had to do was make sure no one caught her.

Her acting must have been A1 since the guard left her alone after bumping into her. Bianca was about to leave the dressing room that belonged to Alice when the door creaked open, and a very familiar face appeared, striding into the room until she noticed Bianca’s presence. Jumping up with a shriek like every time she was frightened by Bianca, Alice almost lost consciousness as she fell to the ground. Bianca immediately bent down to help her up, although she knew that this was bad news. She was caught! But if she could fool Alice, that would not be the case anymore. She held Alice’s hands as she helped her up. “Oh, Alice! I’m so sorry for shocking you.” Bianca helped Alice stand back on her two feet as she immediately removed the flower in her eye. “Here, this is for you. I came by to see if you needed me to help you with anything, ‘cause it’s a bit strange to not receive a letter from you in the morning,” she said with a laugh.

Once Alice regained her composure, she laughed as well, saying, “Wow, I did not expect you to show up at the theater looking for work,” and continued to laugh. Bianca joined in on the laughing as well, although it felt incredibly awkward laughing at something she did not find funny in the slightest. Alice then looked around asking, “I don’t really have anything to ask you to do, but since you are here, could you do me a small favor? It’s nothing big like the previous ones.” Bianca did not expect Alice to ask her to do something, but now that she had, she could not say no. After all, that was what she told her she was here for.

“Oh, of course, Alice. What do you need me to do?” asked Bianca, a bit nervous. If it involved anything harder than like delivering flowers or something, she would ask for extra payment. If that was the case, then she got lucky. Alice did not notice anything out of the ordinary. She did not even take her coat, or look at it, so Bianca was safe. She even already planned to act like she was surprised when Alice did find the letter. She was usually prepared like that, her mind would make these plans on its own like on instinct. Alice then dropped the bag she was carrying around on her chair and took off the coat she was wearing at the moment.

“Could you massage my neck? It feels like it’s about to break.”

Bianca gave Alice a confused look that disappeared in a moment. “Sure!” she said then started to massage her neck for her. She did not usually give massages to people, but she had strong hands so it seemed Alice liked it. After a few minutes, Bianca stopped, asking, “Is that enough?” to which Alice nodded with a satisfied groan.

“Thank you so much for that!” she said cheerfully.

With a smile saying, “Oh, no problem, Alice. I’ll see you later then.” Alice said goodbye as well and Bianca left her dressing room, shutting the door behind her and walking in the direction of Rebecca’s dressing room. She let out a sigh of relief, looking back to see if Alice was coming out before she entered Rebecca’s dressing room again and waited there patiently for her client to show up, since Rebecca was not there. She was probably practising or something, but since Alice was back in her room too, it would only be a matter of minutes before Rebecca came back as well. Bianca was starting to get the hang of things here in the theater. She knew how to handle the lacrima lights and the curtains, she knew how to act, she knew what kind of shit was going on here - illegal shit, by the way - and not to forget she knew almost everyone here by now, and the director was afraid of her.

The door to Rebecca’s dressing room creaked open, it was almost like from a murder scene in a movie. Bianca got up from her seat, eagerly waiting for Rebecca to get in. She heard some voices outside, so Rebecca was probably talking to someone just outside the door. Once she got in, she jumped again just like Alice. Bianca was probably the sneakiest person they had ever encountered, but she could not help that she was naturally that way. She was of the vampire race after all, and vampires were naturally sneaky. “Hello,” said Bianca with a smile. “I’ve done the job.”

“Jesus! You almost scared the life out of me,”
said Rebecca with a laugh. She shut the door behind her and dropped her things on the chair that had her name on it. Bianca stepped aside so that Rebecca had some space to breathe. She was probably tired from whatever it is that she was doing just now. “Alright, then here’s your reward,” she said, fishing out an envelope from her purse. Bianca accepted it and opened it to check if there was money inside. Once she noticed the bills, she pulled them out and folded them, placing the folded bills in her pocket and returning the envelope to Rebecca. “Thanks, by the way,” Rebecca said with a smile.

“Yeah, no problem,” Bianca replied with a smile as well before she left the room, checking to see if anyone was in the hall outside before taking her leave. She went back to her inn, got changed and then left again to hunt for her dinner. She had not eaten in a while and her stomach was protesting already so she could not ignore it anymore. She only went back to the inn to keep the money and change into her regular clothes before going into the woods to look for food. Normally you would not find people in the woods but in the woods here, there was always someone either lost or hunting too.
