Fayre

It was an airy, full of life and nature day here upon Marigold, a beautiful city near young Fayre's hometown of Hargeon. A bright sun shined through the clouds floating ever so peacefully over the rural farmlands of Marigold. It was a year now since Fayre was last seen in this region. He was on an adventure around Fiore, deciding to train and see the beautiful sights of the land while eating brand new delicacies. It was time Fayre joined a guild however, and joined a family of mages. So after visiting his mother in the great town of Hargeon, Fayre would join up with a band of ex Fairy Tail members and begin a new guild together to help protect the lands and people of Fiore.

Before his second adventure he had departed on in the past year, Fayre had gone on another small adventure to see glimpses of Fiore. At the end of that short journey, Fayre had left back home to the city of Hargeon to visit his mom. He sailed to Hargeon from the white city of Astera at the end of a great war in the nation of Fiore, where demons and seraphs battled as Earthland strived to protect the very place they call home. It was a peaceful time in Fayre's life now but little did he know, his true adventure would begin to unfold here in Marigold.

In the past year and some months the young man had seen many sights. Yet many more sights would soon to come. Fayre walked through the farmlands of the city he would arrive in, looking for the coordinates of his guild's illusive base that lied somewhere near. However, the white wizard would stumble upon an overgrown vine suddenly, and trip. It seemed a plant vine had grown onto a dirt path of the farmlands, becoming a nuisance to travelers venturing through the area. Fayre would trip onto the dirt ground but pick himself up, looking to see what it is that just caused him to trip. Noticing the vine that had overgrown, Fayre would pat his clothes down and begin continuing on his way, before that is an older man would call out to him, sorry.

Farmer Jim: "Oii~ Boy! Apologies for the vine in the way! Hey youngin, are you new to the city by the way!?"

Said the elderly man, waving to the young wizard in elation that a new face has wandered about these rural parts. It was nice how kind people can be in the rural city of Marigold. However, this would become rarer to Fayre the longer the young man remained in Marigold. People around this area did not like guild conflicts and the noble affairs. Farmer Jim was a kind and respected man though. Fayre would see this as he would have tripped over that overgrown vine, and was apologized to.

Fayre
Fayre: "Oh, it is no problem! Also, yeah I am new to the city."

Farmer Jim: "Ah well, that is nice. You see, my crops have been overrun by these darn vines. It is a pest to my hard work here. You don't happen to be a mage now, huh? I am an aging man and I need someone to clear these vines out."

Fayre: "Oh, yeah, I don't mind helping clear these vines from the area. Your name, pops? Mine is Fayre."

Farmer Jim: "Oh, call me Jim, son!"

Conversed the two as the birds flew past them while the vines moved as if alive. It was not good that Farmer Jim was working with these bothersome vines. After talking with Jim, Fayre were to begin staring into the scape of plants. It seemed pretty bad. Fayre would walk onto the grasslands of moving vines and suddenly have his leg tugged by a vine! It would move very life like, this must be the work of magic, Fayre thought. He would try and move through the vines and cut them with Gale magic spells.

Fayre: "Gale Cut!"

Roared the white wizard, trekking further into the field of vines and plants. A cut of wind would help clear the path for him, but Fayre were to encounter more vines trying to grasp him and try and bring him down. Fayre would be determined though in his task at hand. With valiancy, Fayre trudged onward through the plants and cut any vines trying to grasp onto him. It seemed they had more strength the deeper one went. Perhaps there is a source of the vines that moved with life? Fayre had to be careful not allowing himself to be grasped by the vines that grew stronger.

Fayre: "Hora!"

Said the wizard loudly, coming to the center of the vines and plants. Setting foot upon the middle of the infestation of vicious vines, Fayre would be attacked by many vines all around him. Panting, the white wizard would throw his arms out and cast Gale Gust and cut the vines trying to pull him in. A bright white magic circle forming beneath his black boots, Fayre would blow sharp violent winds in the center of the vines.

Fayre: "You won't stop me! Gale Gust!"

Young Fayre shouted, throwing his boots to the ground and his arms to his sides. Wind blew through the area, slicing the dangerous living plants and unveiling a blue glowing orb beneath the soil of the land. Fayre stood tall, seeing the blue orb in the ground. Was that the cause of the overgrowth of plants in the area? It appeared to be. Fayre stepped up to the blue orb that looked cracked, perhaps by the spell of his. Fayre kneeled down and grabbed the blue orb, examining it.

Fayre: "Huh, well this problem is solved."

Said the wizard, placing the blue orb up to the light of the sun before deciding to find a nearby rock and throw it against the hard rock, crushing it to small pieces and blue fragments. Fayre smiled and would take a seat upon a small rock. It was a job well done. Now the young man just had to let Jim know that the source of the problem was destroyed.

Looking at the cloudy sky of the beautiful Marigold, Fayre would ponder upon just what kind of adventures await him here in the humble city of Marigold. About to stand up, Fayre would be greeted by Jim who had seen him crush the blue orb. He would pat Fayre's back and thank the wizard, rewarding the boy with jewels who truly earned it.

Jim: "Hey! That was pretty good, son! You are not a bad wizard!"

Fayre: "Aha, thanks pops."
