After arriving in Era, North took a look at the note he'd received regarding his secret mission. Upon doing so, he noticed something that he seemed to have overlooked before. The allotted time for everyone to meet was almost three weeks from now. "Are you kidding me?" North asked himself, furious at his own stupidity and carelessness. Here he was, in Era, the capital of the magic council, and a place with literally no work for mages of his kind. "What am I supposed to do here for three weeks?" He questioned, throwing his hands up in the air. He continued to fume for several minutes before finally taking a deep breath and calming down. From there he rationed that he could possibly head over to nearby Hargeon and find some work there. There was always work for dark mages in port towns, as they were the perfect place to smuggle in illegal goods. That way, North could at least rake in some cash while he waited for this secret mission to start. So, with that idea in mind he set off to the south, hoping to find some work and maybe some thrills and fun along the way.
