Summary: In the world of Martial Arts, the four Novas are recognized as practitioners with the potential to become the greatest fighters some day. The rate at which they grow is considered monstrous, allowing them to surpass their peers easily. Kaidou, the Southern Star, used to be trained in the Satsu Mountains when he was still young. Since he quickly absorbed what the Masters taught him, he caught the eye of a retired Master there who no longer wished to battle anymore. Released from his boredom, he took young Kaidou under him and taught him the way of the Death Cutter. The practitioners of these beliefs believe that killing the opponent is the way to use their martial arts skills. It is the belief that martial arts were created to kill and destroy. During his last training and battle, he was tasked by his Master to use the Death Cutter to kill him or to be killed.

In the current day and age, Kaidou is considered to be one of the most monstrous Novas. It is still unclear what Kaidou is up to and what he is trying to achieve. Many Masters have sent out spies to keep an eye on Kaidou or to even take him down before he would become too much of a problem to deal with, but no one has ever returned. Unaware to most, he was present at the First Martial Arts Tournament in Baska Town to watch the next generation. It was here that he saw potential in one of the participants, Erebus. He believed that this person would have a lust for battle and an insatiable thirst for blood if they were taught the art of the Death Cutter. Without being noticed, he knocked out and kidnapped Erebus in the middle of the night after his loss. It was time for another Death Cutter to be born.

Details:

Create a topic in Oak Town, traveling is not needed since you've been kidnapped and brought here.
You wake up alone sitting against a tree in the outskirts of Oak Town. It's the middle of the night and you're not sure what happened except that you were walking through Baska Town.
You will find a note in your belongings with the following message: "I have seen you fight in the Martial Arts tournament, you have potential. The lust for battle and the thirst for blood, it can be found, but not in that sword you're carrying with you. If you wish to become stronger, break the weapon and with that also leave behind the thoughts of wielding weapons. I shall seek you when you are ready."
There is no name underneath the message which makes it vague but after reading it you must make a choice which will determine whether the story shall continue or not.
If you wish to learn martial arts from this mysterious person, you must break your weapon. Do note that your character will no longer be capable of wielding anything in their Weapon Slot anymore in the future.
To break your weapon, hit with it repeatedly against the tree. The amount of times you need to swing it depends on the amount of strength you can exert and the durability of the weapon.
If you don't wish to break the weapon you can simply leave the topic, if you do break the weapon you'll be tired and sleep afterwards against the tree.
The topic will be done after either leaving or breaking the weapon and sleeping.

Summary: Kaidou has accepted Erebus after finding him sleeping against the tree with a broken weapon in his hand. It's time to pour some martial arts into the new student. Let's being with the Death Cutter's Stance first.

Death Cutter's Stance

Details:

Create a topic in Oak Town.
The topic takes place in the outskirts of Oak Town, at the same location you were last time.
Kaidou will wake you up and teach you the Death Cutter's stance. He is not very talkative, doesn't make jokes and seems to be bored most of the time.
First he will stand in the stance himself, showing how it is done, after which he asks you to do the same.
The stance is basically a boxing stance which you must learn to maintain as Kaidou throws very weak punches at your head and torso.
Keep your arms up and avoid getting hit directly against your head or torso by using the stance properly. At some point you will pass out due to receiving too many blows.
The topic will be done after you pass out.

Summary: During the previous sessions, Kaidou saw a fire in Erebus' eyes and thought it was perhaps time to find out whether his desires can be unleashed. The last time Kaidou went into town he overheard that a couple of students from a dojo nearby would be visiting the town for a supply run. In order to find out whether Erebus' has what it takes, he needs him to find the martial arts students and take their belts as well as their lives.

Others:

Martial Arts Students: A group of five martial arts students who have been sent by their master to get some supplies in town. They come to town once per week and are usually gone quite fast.

Martial Arts Students' Statistics:

Objective: Establish yourself and prove you're the best. You must collect all five belts.

Details:

Create a topic in Oak Streets.
Kaidou will have instructed you of the mission before you arrived, telling you what needs to be done. You need to take the lives of the five students the moment they are outside the town and out of sight of guards.
When you spot them they'll be leaving the town, tail them for a brief moment till you're removed far away from the town. They'll notice you at that point and will get in their stances as a precaution.
Rush them down, get them to damage you and reveal their talents, then start taking their lives one by one.
Remove their belts and put them around your neck as you go back to Kaidou.
