It seemed as though Batra needed help once more, though this time it was a lot more of a tame reason. Instead of taking out some con-man, instead Batra just needed some help with some cooking. One of his chefs quit on him for no good reason, and he was in dire need of a temporary replacement. Areissa and Raphael had decided to do a whole bunch of missions together, and so this was just going to be another one of them. It was a nice way to be able to spend time, as not only were they hanging out, but they were also being paid, and had set actions to focus on. The two were making their way to Batra's bar now, almost at the man's door.

"So, are you ready for a busy night of cooking?"

Stretching as she stood up straight her eyes would look and corner to look at Raphael. They were going to help out Batra again, but this time it was cooking. The huge and best thing was the fact that she loved to cook and bake. 'I'll get to put in skills this time!' she thought happily, but her facial expression showed that she was calm. She made a small smile listening to him as if she was ready to cook. Her right hand punched up excitedly and jumped a little. ''Yes!'' she cheered and stood up straight. Her hands went behind her back, rested on her tail bone and held each other.

They would both start walking towards the place rather it be side-by-side or one being up more. A small smile would appear on her soft lips as her eyes would look forward. It was nice to spend all this time with Raphael to build a relationship of some kind and to earn things. It made her heart beat just thinking about it all. As soon as they got there and opened the door they'd see Batra. ''Heeeey. Welcome back. I'm quite happy you two decided to help me out again.'' he spoke rather happy in his normal voice.

''Apron's are in there. Yknow what to do.'' he spoke and chuckled walking away. Her eyes cornered to Raphael and then towards the kitchen. Areissa would go up ahead to get changed and an apron on. ''There we go.'' she'd speak to herself and organized the apron on. Her hands would straighten her ponytail and then walked towards the utensils to get it all prepared. After that she would finally wait for it all to get started and then she would cook.

Raphael could tell that Areissa was pretty excited about the mission, which Raphael was happy about. It was always good to be pumped up about the work that you had to do, as it made it much more pleasant. Raphael honestly didn't know much about cooking, but he was sure that it would be easy enough to get the hang of. After all, they weren't going to be making anything too complex. Just some super basic cooking. This was a bar after all, not a fine dining establishment.

As they entered, Batra greeted them quite pleasantly. It was clear he was relieved he had some replacements to cover for the guy who quit. He gestured towards the kitchen, and told them to get some aprons on. The two of them entered, and began to get prepared for the busy night ahead. Raphael put on his apron, and chuckled at how silly it looked on him. He spun around a little, and struck a pose.

"How does it look? I think it goes well with my outfit, maybe Batra will let me keep it?"

He goofed around for a little bit longer, but as soon as orders began to start, he calmed down. It was time to get to work. Raphael grabbed the first order, and began to read it out loud to Karisa.

"All right, first order is French Fries, two Hotdogs and one hamburger. Let's get to work!"

Areissa would wait and look at Raphael. He wondered on how it looked on him which honestly she didn't really look too much on how he looked in things. She wanted to blush, but she tried to hold it back. She didn't want to repeat on what happened in the club and embarrass herself again. ''It looks good.'' she spoke softly and had a cheerful smile on her face. Now it was time to work for them both as it seemed she was going to be the one to cook. He seemed to be the one to get the orders and give them to her.

"All right, first order is French Fries, two Hotdogs and one hamburger. Let's get to work!"

Areissa would hear Raphael speak and then turned around and go them. She would grab the spatula and did her thing and then she grabbed the fryer, pulled it up and dumped the fries in place. After that she would get the hotdogs and put them into place as well. It seemed to be all in place in her opinion. Finally she would turn and walk towards Raphael and give the order to him. ''There you go.~'' she spoke softly.

Raphael did his best to help out; Areissa operated the fryers and whatnot, while he did his best to help set up with the buns and toppings, dressing up the hotdogs and hamburger as best as he could. Once the orders were done up as best as they could, he brought them out to the servers, who promptly delivered it to the customers. It seemed like the first order was a success, now it was time for the next one. The order came in, and Raphael once more read it out loud, ready to help out.

"Ok, next one is... A Breaded Chicken Wing and a Baked Potato, you got that?"

Raphael started washing some of the dirty dishes around as the order was worked on, waiting for the food to be cooked so he could plate it and send it out.

Areissa smiled happily as she would watch him do what he was doing. She was unsure of what to really think of him and would never even be able to tell what he thought either. She wasn't sure if he was just hanging with her to have someone for a mission or because he actually did enjoy her company. Either way it made her happy that she was able to spend time with him as much as they were. He would say what the next order was. ''That sounds quite simple...'' she spoke softly and quietly with a small smile.

Quickly she would put the chicken wings through the oven that moved slowly and as that did go through she would cook the potato. She knew to not cook the potato too much so it went mushed. Her fingers would delicately design the plate fancy-like as if she was putting her heart into the cooking. Why was she? Was it the thoughts she was having? Truly it didn't matter as she was getting it done. Finally she would grab the wings that were done and placed them on, handing it to Raphael.

Raphael did his best to keep up with Areissa's fast pace, she was incredibly good at doing this! Job themselves were usually a very tedious and boring process, but having a friend to do them with made them a lot nicer. Spending time with another person wasn't something that Raphael did too much, so he was incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to be spending time with Areissa. He gave Areissa some clean plates as she got ready to prepare everything, laying everything out on the plate with incredible grace. Once Areissa had finished, Raphael snatched the plates up, and brought them over to the window, where, just like the ones before it, they were taken by servers and brought over to the people who ordered them. Again, it seemed like another hit. The customers seemed to love it!

Again, another set of orders were coming in, and Raphael decided that now he would do his part as far as the cooking went. There was an order of just three hotdogs, and Raphael didn't even bother to read it out.

"I got this, you can take a break."

Raphael proceeded to do his best to cook up the hotdogs, heating them up and getting them ready for the buns. Once they were all cooked up, he put them in the buns, put them on the plate, and brought it over to the window, letting the server do the rest of the work from there. A new order came in. It was getting pretty late, and Raphael assumed this might be the last one.

"All right, break is over, we need some breaded chicken, and two hamburgers. Lets get to it, I think we'll be done after this!"

He straightened up his apron, and went to go deal with the burgers. He would leave the chicken to Areissa.

She would hum softly as she would look at Raphael. She looked deeply into his eyes even without him noticing. She wondered on what he'd look like with his original hair color and then she went back to work. Her heart beated somewhat painfully, but why? This all felt strange and constantly her mind would go right into thinking about him, even when she didn't want to. She shook her head to get out of the thoughts and tried to go back to work. She would clean around the areas when there weren't any orders.

Soon he would tell her that she could take a break, but why? Wasn't she doing just fine? Areissa would make a smile towards him and nod. ''A-alright.~'' she spoke sweetly and then walked towards a chair. She would watch him move around and she would see him as if time was slow itself. She wondered on how their friendship will build truly. Time sadly went by fast though as it was time to go back to work. Quickly she got up and went to heat up the breaded chicken. She put on some gloves, grabbed the chicken and put it through the quick-oven. Her eyes glowed as it came out, put it on the plate and turned to look at him with a cheerful smile. ''There we go, Raphael-kun.~'' she spoke without noticing how she said his name. ''All done?~'' she questioned happily.

Raphael did his best to go quickly, flipping the burgers with precision and making sure they were heated to perfection. Once the patties were finished, he plopped them onto the buns. He did them up with all sorts of things; mayo, ketchup, lettuce, pickles, onions, just about everything. Once those were done, he took the plates, getting the chicken from Areissa, and for the final time, brought it up to the window, where the server took it and brought it to the table. It seemed like Raphael's prediction was correct, as Batra walked in soon after, telling them that the job was done. He handed them their reward, and thanked them.

"You guys did a very nice job, hopefully you can comeback again and help out."

Raphael nodded his head, and began to walk out of the building. He was heading back to his room in the inn, with Areissa behind him.

"Nice work today, I'm sure we can fit in a few more before I head back to Orchida!"

She would try to keep her mind off of things that were not work related. After she was done she could hear Batra say that they did a nice job. He also hoped they would come back. It honestly put a smile on her face thinking of working with him. Her eyes saw him leave the building making her follow behind him. She quickly caught up and then she heard him talking about going to 'Orchida'. ''Orchida, huh? I see...'' she spoke quietly and somewhat disappointed. She felt somewhat keen of doing all these missions with him. She wondered if that's where she belonged. In his guild with him, doing missions and being by his side. Areissa truly wasn't sure and honestly she was too shy to even bring up the option. ''I'm sure we can do it.~'' she spoke optimistically and smiled happily or appeared happy. They would finally reach the inn where they would probably go their separate ways till the next time.

Raphael sensed a little bit of disappointment in Areissa when he mentioned Orchida. He wondered what that was all about, until he realized that she must be upset about the fact he was leaving. He tried to do his best to relieve Areissa of that worry.

"You know, after I leave Crocus, if you ever want to stop by Lamia Scale, be my guest, it's a nice place, for what it's worth. Anyway, I'm heading off to sleep. Good night Areissa!"

And so Raphael went up to his room and fell promptly to sleep. It had been a late night of work, and he had earned it.

Her eyes looked at him as they walked into the inn. He spoke and told her that if she ever did want to stop by the guild to go ahead. She nodded at that and made a small smile. Her eyes saw him leave and that's when she turned away and went to her own direction. Her finger pressed onto the elevator button that would then go to her own room. The night was beautiful and honestly she felt like she could go for a drink. Slowly she would strip off her bodywraps to breathe and from there on, she'd enjoy the night alone.
