The group had soon returned to the capital city of Fiore, their arrival being timed at exactly the same time as the festival that the king was holding to celebrate the start of a new year. Fortunately, it shouldn't be too much of an issue to gain access to the library. Just a simple application to get access to the library and then their search could begin in earnest. As the duo waited in line for the gate to the castle town Yu was reminded of the last time they had visited the kingdom of Fiore, they had been accompanied by Nui on their little adventure. Her childhood friend was so delighted by all the festivities, or perhaps the various different meat dishes they served at the festival. Even now she could scarcely understand how the Void had affected Nui, and how Eros seemed perfectly docile with her, protective even. But these were thoughts for latter. As the line progressed and it was finally their turn the guard asked what their purpose for visiting the town was.

"We are here to consult the royal library for a personal matter," Yu spoke calmly. "We will be staying for the duration of the festival and then departing after that." The guard nodded and gestured for them to proceed. As the duo walked into the city Yu couldn't help but marvel at how lively everything was. People were everywhere, enjoying the food and entertainment that the festival offered. It was a sharp contrast to the quiet and serene atmosphere that the sanctuaries of the Fae had. This was the world she knew and loved, a place full of life and joy. It was a world worth protecting. "Let's go to the library," Yu suggested, eager to start her search.

"Of course, Yu. Lead the way," Nyancelot replied, following behind her.
They walked through the streets of the city, past all the vendors selling food and souvenirs. They eventually reached the library, a large building located in the heart of the city. They entered inside and immediately made their way to the front desk.

"Excuse me, we would like to apply for access to the royal library," Yu said politely to the librarian sitting behind the desk. The woman looked up from her book and smiled warmly at them. "Of course. Do you have a library card or identification card?" Yu showed her guild tattoo to the librarian, which the librarian quickly noted. "Ah, a member of Blue Pegasus? That makes it easier. Alright, here you go," she said, handing over a small piece of paper that acted as a temporary library card. "You can use this to check out books from the library."

"Thank you very much," Yu responded, taking the card. "We appreciate your assistance." With that, the two began browsing the shelves of books. They looked for any books that might contain information on the True Ancestor or other related topics. It was a long and arduous task, but they refused to give up. After searching through countless volumes they finally stumbled upon a book titled 'Legacy of the Brunestud household'. It caused Yu to pause for a moment as she thought back on everything she knew so far. To her knowledge the term Brunestud had surfaced several times in the past during her search for knowledge on the True Ancestors...

A name that had a deep connection to her own heritage. Could this be the book that holds the answers she seeks? Yu picked up the book and opened it to the first page. The title read 'Legacy of the Brunestud household'.

She began reading the text, which detailed the history of a particular clan during the early days of Caelish history. The Brunestuds were a powerful clan of mages and warriors who ruled over a part of the country for centuries. They were so talented that some people even presumed they were favored, and blessed by the Fae that inhabited Caelum. Yet with time they lost their prominence, and became nothing more than a footnote in history. But one thing remained the same, their ties to the Fae. Yu continued to read the text, her heart racing as she learned more about the mysterious clan. The book described the clan's connection to the Fae, their ability to harness the power of magic and the incredible feats of strength they could perform. However, according to the book there was one prominent feature of the clan that never changed. Its head was always a female and she possessed the same unique powers her predecessors did. Close ties to magic... and a longevity that some whispered was bordering on immortality.

It was a fascinating story, and it gave Yu hope that she may find the answers she was looking for. But still, something bothered her about the story. Something didn't seem quite right. She decided to continue reading.

The book mentioned how the Brunestud clan was not only tied to the Fae, but also to the concept of Nature itself. The Brunestuds had a deep reverence for the natural world and were said to have a strong affinity for the magical arts. Their powers were so great that some of the members were even able to commune with the Fae directly.

The book went on to describe the various magical artifacts and relics that the Brunestuds had collected over the years. It also detailed the various battles and wars that the clan had fought in, and how they had always emerged victorious. It was clear that the Brunestud family was a force to be reckoned with.

As Yu read the book, she couldn't help but feel a strange sense of familiarity. It was almost as if she had heard the story before, or perhaps even lived it herself. She couldn't shake the feeling that the Brunestuds were somehow connected to her. Could it be possible that she was descended from the Brunestuds? If so, then that would explain why she had such incredible powers. It would also explain why she felt such a deep connection to the natural world. It would certainly explain the uncanny resemblance between the rumored features of the Brunestuds and the unique traits she had been born with.

Yu continued to read the book, her curiosity growing stronger with each passing page. The book eventually concluded, although curiously enough it almost felt like a part of the story had suddenly been cut short. As Yu closed the cover and put it back on the shelf she pondered for a moment. "The Brunestud household... So the powers of a True Ancestor are considered heritary for the most part? Then maybe if I can trace down the current descendants of the household I might be able to uncover more."

Feeling a rush of excitement at the progress she had made, Yu turned toward Nyancelot who was looking at her. "So, found what you were looking for?" The Exceed asked her with a smile. "Yes, I believe I have. This book has given me a clue as to where I might find more information about the True Ancestors. I need to find the current descendants of the Brunestud household and ask them about their history," Yu replied, feeling a newfound sense of determination. Nyancelot nodded in understanding. "Very well then. Where should we begin our search?"

Yu raised a hand to her chin, pondering for a moment. "Perhaps we should return to the Clock Tower and consult the mages who are native to Caelum about if they know anything about this story?"
