HomeDominic, Priest of Light The steam bellowed and the conductor made his last call. Dominic entered the train and eventually found his seat. Though this was his second time taking the train, he was still getting use to it, amazed by how decorated it was with carpeted floors, lacrima lighting and cushioned seats. He had also noticed there were private booths this time and upon noticing this, he would move into one of them; this would benefit him for when he needs to do his prayers or study. From what he had heard, there was increased activity in Crocus recently, so as for protection, the Rune Knights were asked to send some knights to be stationed at the Grand Cathedral. Dominic was joyful he was selected. He had always hoped to be sent to the main cathedral of Fiore, but it was ironic that he would be sent there as a Rune Knight instead of as a priest as he had assumed. A bell had rung and a whistle blew before the train began to move and eventually depart from the station. Now the priest had a chance to see more of the world and more holy places as he had dreamed since he was but a child. WC: 204 |
