Crocus, the capital city of Fiore and currently the place where a grand festival was being hosted to celebrate the start of the new year. It had been a while since Yu had chosen to venture outside, partly because she had been working at the Clock Tower and any spare time was usually spend at Nui's side, but with the festivities in full swing it was understandable that the young fairy had chosen to take her childhood friend with her to the festival.

Part of her still felt guilty about the fact that even with her memories lost, her soul still seemed to recall just how important Nui was to her. Indeed, similar to how a cat might imprint onto a human being, she felt the same strong sense of comfort, security and affection toward Nui. Perhaps it was childish, but as a result Yu thought that the festival could serve as a perfect place for them to build new memories together.

It had taken some effort to convince Nui that it was importance for her to remain dressed, and thanks to Eros's sissling, well because even Yu couldn't understand what the snake was trying to say... it seemed their effort had succeeded in convincing Nui to be somewhat clothed.

"You seem quite delighted for some reason Lady Yu~" Nyancelot chimed in amusement, the Exceed marching in front of them while Yu could be seen having a soft sheepish smile on her lips. The source of her joy was easy to spot, for it was the fact that right besides her, holding her hand was the taller Nui who was looking around curiously, her senses being pickled by the various scents of foods on display.

"Are you hungry Nui?" Yu asked softly, causing the taller lass to nod her head energetically in response. "Mhmm~ lots of delicious scentssss lingering in the air." Nui's words made Yu smile sheepishly, a slight tilt of her head following as she pondered. "Anything you like to try in particular?"

"Meat!" Nui exclaimed energetically, leading to Yu to exhale a soft sigh and soon hummed in amusement. "I should have expected that answer." She couldn't help but wonder if any of the vendor stalls would be selling some type of meat-dish that they could order. As they approached one of the vendor stalls that seemingly was selling some type of exotic delicacies Yu inquired to the cook behind the booth. "What is this?"

Watching her point on the meat cubes on a stick the chef smiled kindly at her. "They are Star Marmot Kebabs~ Straight from the fields of Pergrande! Seems the locals love how spicy the meat and spices are that we use on them."

That seemed perfect for Nui! Turning toward her Yu was about to speak but instead found herself buried face-first in Nui's bust! Nyancelot looked on in amusement as Nui seemed entirely oblivious to the event, staring at the Star Marmot Kebabs like a child looking at a sweet candy apple.

Finally after a moment of struggling and squirming Yu's pointed ears flopped back into view as her head peeked up from the young lady's cleavage. "I'm gonna drown someday in that pillowy sea..." The lass whinced in defeat as she asked her question at last. "Do you want some of that Star Marmot kebab Nui?"

The lass nodded her head happily, causing Yu to order a pair of Star Marmots on a stick!

Meanwhile Nyancelot chimed softly in amusement: "One to Zero for Team Nui, the pillows delivering an overwhelming assault on Team Yu's senses. Will the fairy be able to make a come-back? Stay tuned for the next part of this match~"

Ignoring Nyancelot's teasing narration Yu decided to take Nui to a collection of benches that were nearby, likely placed there for festival-goers to enjoy their meals or to take a break and relax a little bit. Nui seemed to be enjoying the Star Marmot on a stick, at least judging from the smile on her lips and the light munching of the meat. Meanwhile Yu decided to try to sample the dish as well. Although she had no preference in meals, she had to admit she was a bit curious about this particular dish, but little could have prepared her for the spicy nature of the herbs that were used as spices for the delicacy! Tears started to well up in her eyes, but fortunately Nyancelot was already coming to the rescue by offering her some water. As she took some deep gulps from the beverage, even after all that the little fairy could still find the lingering heat of the dish spreading to the rest of her body! How in the world could Nui even savor such a dish without suffering from the side-effects? Hearing some sissling sounds coming from Eros Yu turned her gaze to the side when she found a sight that for some might be quite exciting, and for her it honestly was as well... but more worrying was the fact Nui had already finished her Star Marmot on a stick and for some reason had chosen to start undoing her clothes!

"N-Nui what are you doing!" Yu protested in a flustered tone, leading Nui to answer as if she was doing a very normal thing. "It's too warm for clothes-" Yet Yu protest intensified even more. "Nonono, not here! I won't let you become known as a nudist in the Capital of Fiore!"

Nui tilted her head in bewilderment, seemingly not grasping any of the fairy's concerns. Rather, as if led by a weird sense of logic the void-touched lass started to inch closer to Yu and start gently tugging against her clothes! "It be fine if you join me as well~" To which the embarrassed fairy exclaimed loudly. "No it won't!"

This was getting dangerous! and it was getting dangerous really fast! With panic stirring in her mind Yu almost instinctively thought she needed to find a place, some secret place where she and Nui could be alone and where she didn't need to worry about Nui suddenly disrobing herself!

As if answering her pleas the fairy and Nui suddenly found the landscape changing, the familiar moon-lit castle and the field of flowers emerging around them. "Wait this place is-" Yu muttered softly, wondering if it was because of her earlier thoughts that they had been transported here.

However, Nyancelot had quickly averted his gaze for some reason, causing Yu to turn back toward Nui just in time to find the already naked lass tackling her onto her back! "Nui, I-" but Nui merely smiled sheepishly at her, pulling the smaller fairy onto her and started to gently snuggle her, leaving the blushing Yu to ponder for a moment as Nui entered her 'sunbathing' mode again.

"Not that there is a sun here, but I guess she won't mind or care about that detail..."

Yu muttered under her breath, somewhat amused at the current situation she had found herself caught in. Either way, a crisis had been averted, and once Nui had recovered they could go back on their trip across the festival!

"But I wonder what this place is... maybe something to ponder about next time..." Muttering softly Yu closed her eyes, finding the peace and comfort in Nui's embrace to cause her to start to slowly drift off into a gentle slumber. It had been an unexpected event, but not exactly an unappreciated one, and in a way this had forged some new memories between them as well! With many more to come...
