A chitter uncaged through supple lips that pop in excitement, parting her tussled bangs with deliberate strokes to tidy herself and gaze upon the creature that looms overhead, towering above the injured little serpent with gentle concern. Desdemona wishes for nothing else than to gaze upon the singularity - the eclipse that blocks the sun from her skyward glance. "Mm~ Oui, madame~ I was just enjoying a quiet moment to myself, but It would seem I got a little too carried away playing all by lonesome. A little rumble tumble down the hill~" She'd gesture her hands to mirror the motion and jerk her head sideways with an exaggerated death knell that dissolves into a brief chuckle and blep of her tongue. "Just kidding~ I'm used to taking a bit of damage, getting injured, but I can't exactly walk this one off~" Mona wraps her dainty fingers around her ankle, a gentle rub that throbs, but she plays up the pain to get what she wants from her new companion.
"Discovery? What a pretty name, darling. And how very fitting, the wonder that you are~" She shifts, an excited wriggle as her legs slowly cross and a hand lifts to cup her cheek, Minstreli accent saturated in honey. "No need to be so formal, darling. You may call me Mona~ All my friends do, and you'll be my friend won't you?" Another tilt of her head, craning as she leans back, scarlet glimmering with faint crackles, aspiring to bloom in the sun despite the colossal shadow cast. Discovery was an oddity, possessing an innocence that Mona wanted to pull apart and dissect under a microscope to ascertain how such a creature could be so earnest despite her obvious capability for destruction and carnage.
But that could wait until later. Mona was already enthralled in the moment - the current play.
Desdemona desired to be lifted, carried like a princess by the giantess just like in her favorite romantic stories, one of many fantasies that revolved everlasting in her head. She never truly expected it to become a reality. Wide-eyed, a startled squeal wobbles out of enraptured lips and the flutter of a caged bird rattling in its ribcage. Mona feels weightless, floating as her limbs reach for sanctuary in their sudden ascent, pawing at her jacket and tugging to nestle in. There's a familiar comfort in being under the absolute authority of another, but this felt... Different. Strange, but not unwanted. So, Mona simply surrenders, but given the difference in stature, she's convinced she would have little say.
"My~ you've really-" She rasps, her voice shrill, warbling with sharp intonation before settling to something sweeter, face painted sanguine as her Obscura ebbs in favor of natural blue. "Really swept me off my feet, huh? It's so high..." Mona looks down, and her heart skips a beat as a whistle soars and plummets to a lower tenor to simulate a potential fall.
Mona makes a soft sound, ponderous as she turns to behold her new discovery again, contemplating her apparent healthcare prospects. "Yes, perhaps we should avoid meeting organ harvesters until my leggy feels better~ Another time maybe~" Mona giggles, lolling in open arms, relinquishing all control to this mysterious, strange creature, and she's content - relaxed in a way she seldom experiences. "But, do be a dear..." She conceals a smile in the synthetic warmth, a quick jut of her shoulders that eases as she pleads in a hushed refrain. A hand flits, stretching heaven bound to softly caress the machia's brow with gentle pets, a greedy craving for something new to feel directing her every motion. "Tell me about yourself. And take your time... Please."
