Deadliest Catch Pt. 17 Empty Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:49 am

Drakkon had not done this job on Luluhawa island in forever. He didn’t think he would be back here, but here he was. The young man wasn’t alone this time though as he had brought Drakkon with him. The two of them together would be a menace here. He wondered what kind of quest he would get today as he made his way to the ship. There was one that was asking for help and he wondered how he would screw them over. The devourer didn’t care for them, but if they didn’t know who he was, then that was perfect.

Still, the last time he did something horrible to a crew of pirates was because they had tried to backstab him. if things went well today, then he wouldn’t have to do that to anybody. Still, he could only hope as they had made it to the ship that they were getting on to today.

Drakkon had gotten on board and the men there took a step back to see Drakkon and then a person with Draconic wings on their back. He looked at them with a smirk on his face.

“No need to worry, you guys will be able to get your catch today without a problem. I just recommend you don’t betray me or you will regret it.” He warned to them.

Hai had stood quiet as he didn’t need to say anything. The captain heard this and he looked at his men, and they had finished preparing. When they were ready they would pick up the anchor and release the mast. This would allow the wind to blow and the ship would leave the docks. The wind that blew in the direction they were sailing was amazing, and he couldn’t wait to see what kind of sea beast they were hunting today. It was probably huge, and worth a lot.

The crew kept going, avoiding contact with Drakkon. They had made their way to their destination, and soon enough, they would arrive. There was a stingray almost as big as this ship, just jumping around a specific area. It was as if this was his territory, and he dared anybody to come. He shook his head, as today was the last time it would be alive.

“Hai let’s do this.” He said to his son.

Hai heard this and he roared as the two had merged. When they became one, Drakkon took flight and made his way toward the sea creature. The Stingray could feel the danger coming toward him and when he saw Drakkon, he shot magical poison darts at Drakkon from his tail. The Devourer sensed the danger coming from the attack and dodged it without a problem. It was then he took his blade out of their covers and he launched a demonic slash at the creature.

The Stingray dodged the attack and went back in the water and it was looking for an opportunity to attack again. Drakkon just stood still and waited for something to happen. When the creature saw Drakkon not moving it would try its best to attack him. When he felt the danger coming, he made his move. The Dragon Slayer had used two of his strongest moves, which came from his blades, to cut down the creature.

It would shriek from the pain as it fell onto the water. He looked at it to see if it would move from there. It was then that he saw the stingray was just floating in the water moving around. Still, it seemed like he wanted to be done here. He noticed that something was moving toward them from his right side. It was then he noticed a ship was coming in hot and shooting at the people he was working for.

Drakkon shook his head soared through the sky and made his way to the random ship that was attacking them. The group on the ship had looked at Drakkon who suddenly appeared before them. They had gotten defensive quickly as they didn’t know who this person was, and they started attacking. The Dragon Slayer dodging the attacks laughed as they didn’t even let him warn them or anything.

“You guys are fools for attacking me. You should have let me speak up first, and maybe you would have been able to leave without life intact.” He said to them.

It was then that he would toss both his blades into the air, create an arrow made of hot fire in his hand, and launch it into the ship. The group noticed that he didn’t attack them but their ship. A huge explosion occurred, covering most of the ship and taking out a few members as well.

Drakkon could hear their shouting and laughed a bit more at what was happening. He wasn’t of course done, his blades still in the air, he created a ball of fire into his hand and he would launch that on the side that didn’t get touched by his first attack. This one had been aimed at the general of the crew. When it landed the explosion occurred and it would have all of the crew that were there shouting and screaming through the pain and agony. He watched as they were suffering running around on fire. The damage was ticking away at them. The ship could be seen breaking and he knew he was done. The Devourer had made his way back to the ship as they had secured the dead stingray.

The crew also watched as the ship that tried to attack them was no longer able to do anything. They were scared of him but happy that he was on their side. They would make their way back to the port, and once they had everything settled, they would thank Drakkon before paying him. The Dragon Slayer took his jewels, and he walked away, glad to be able to get paid and kill some people at the same time. He and Hai would seek out another job to do now.
