Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon had given Carmina time for her tor est. Now that it was done though, they had to search for that damn husband. The man was causing the mountain to shake, and therefore the castle was shaking. He moved around with her and he was wondering what was going to happen to the castle and everything around them if they defeated the leader of this place.

He was still in his transformation and he knew that once this was done, then the people of Joya would be fine and he could continue to be a menace elsewhere. Still, it was clear now, and being able to see where you were going was a good thing. He was glad that bitch was dead as she made him shiver a bit thinking about her.

“So, this is going to be an interesting fight. If he’s the person causing all of this, then I can just imagine he’s not weak. Hell, his wife could take a hit, so I could just imagine what he could do.” He said thinking about the battle ahead.

He figured there was going to be a lot of chaos, but he was going to make sure that Carmina was protected this entire time. She would be able to fight to her fullest, and it was because he was there. He didn’t mind as it was still going to be scary. His defense spells were strong, but they were not indestructible.

“I should have known though that we were fighting Yokais. Onis loved being around Joya for some reason. They weren’t here before, but someone told me in the past they used to be a normal evil in Joya. I guess this was their attempt at coming back.” He had a huge smile on his face as he was foiling their plan.

It was soon enough, that the group would make their way to what looked like steps. It was going down instead of up, and it looked suspicious, so made Drakkon want to go down there.

“Let’s go down those stairs and see where it leads.” He said to Carmina.

He was the first to approach the steps and he would start marching down. As the group would reach the end though they would see a huge space here, but there was nobody around. It seemed like it might have been a dead end or was it?

Carmina
Carmina would follow her master as they were going to take on the "King" of this castle and she wondered what the man will look like and what the man might be able to do and that is while she is flipping through her memories and thinking of what kind of element the man could have, but as he shook the castle and mountain with it, it would have to be either extremely strong or earth based. She then kept making more spells that had the wind element as that would be the most useful to her in this fight and her master seemed like he was in a far better mind set than he had been before. "I am readying wind spells so if he uses earth element I am ready to slash through his defenses and attacks. You make sure that you don't get lost in the dust that will probably be flying around from it." Her voice is full of arrogance and power tripping tones as she was feeling like she may even be getting stronger than her master.

She was still following him as she was lead around to see if they could find the way to the true master of this domain that they needed to face and she wondered deeply if who ever it was if they were even going to be a challenge for her and her master. She was keeping her staff close to her chest with an evil grin cracked across her face as she can feel herself getting lighter and the wind at her back. She was not going to let her guard down. "So you think that is what these things are just simple monsters with magic and no real brains to think someone would come and look for them once they made enough noise. Wonder if they are left overs from the last shoguns reign." She started to spin the staff in her hand a bit as she was getting very excited for what she will be able to do and how she will prove herself even more to her master. She needed to make every move and cast count as she needed to shine and not fall out of her masters good graces as she knows that fighting him would not be fun for either of them as she was strong but her master had taught her everything she knew.

Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon heard her words and he laughed. He wouldn’t get lose in anything that his nose couldn’t pick up. If he was fighting she didn’t have to worry about it. Well, unless if it were a snake of course.

“No need to worry about me, Mina. As long as he’s not a snake like his wife, then we should be fine. Just focus on yourself and keeping yourself alive.” He said to her with a smirk on his face.

His ear twitched when he heard her understanding on what he had said about the Yokai. He shook his head hearing it as she was being closed minded now.

[color=green]“Mind your tone, they aren’t just simple monster. If you think like that you will perish. But you’re correct, they are most likely remnants of the past.

When they had arrived at their destination, Drakkon looked around and he could smell an odor. It was all around this room. It was everywhere, and he wondered what was going on. It was then, that a rumbling started happening in this room. It was much more powerful than the last shake and more condensed to this room. The Devourer had flapped his wings as he was now in the air, and the ground in the room start breaking. It was then a hand would reach out from the ground and soon two hands. It was then something shot out from the ground and landed soon after.

The Yokai that had appeared in front of the group had towered both of them even if they were standing on each other shoulder. They could see that he was covered in minerals, soil and anything earthly.

“You fools dare seek me out. What did you do to my wife?” He asked them as he wouldn’t even let them answer.

Drakkon sensed danger coming his way, and he would do two things. Get out of the way, and he would cover him and Carmina with his strongest defense spell. He would slide across the ground as the pillar that came from below slammed into the ceiling. He was sure one had been sent to Carmina as well.

“Yeah, that dirty snaked died like she was supposed to. I guess you will be joining her to since you like to mess with children’s lives.” He said to the Yokai.

He heard those words and it only angered him more. Drakkon flapped his wings as he inched closer to the two. Still, his words pissed Terraoxis off and he used his Haunting Whisper to tackle both the man and his woman companion.

This would stopped Drakkon for a second as he started seeing snakes appearing from the ground, ceiling and walls. They were moving toward him, falling and using each other to get close to him. Drakkon started running away avoiding the snakes, but where did they come from and why were they here. He was wondering if that yokai woman was still alive and she was helping her husband now.

“I thought we killed her, why are there more snakes here.” He said as he looked over to Carmina to see if she was okay.

Carmina
Her master telling her to mind her tongue kind of shattered her false confidence and her mind went blank as she had been scolded by her master so she was clearly doing something wrong and she stopped focusing on the spells that she had, had in her head she was now flashing over the conversation she was having with her master and looking at every small detail as she was scolded so she was doing something wrong and there had to be a way that she could fix that. She needed to find the right thing to say and do here as she was sure that her master now hated her and she was garbage to him. She had fully not noticed anything that was going on as her master had spoke to her like that and it had totally side lined her and her magic as she was not even paying attention to the battle anymore the shaking nor the fighting woke her from her thoughts as she was still looking for something that she could say or do here as she was sure that she needed to fix this as fast as she could but she was not looking or even fighting at all.

Rey who was flying around the ceiling of the area that held this king he was taking shots at the man that had shown up in front of them and seemed to think that he could take on his mistress and her master but it seemed with the man having yelled at her she had shut down and was lost to her thoughts of how to make it better the quetzalcoatl knowing that they had to do something to help and his mistress was not in the shape to help the man he started firing bursts of water and lightning and he realized that the lightning was weak to the earth and barely did any damage to the man or the snakes of the earth that were around and so he swapped to using bursts of wind to scatter and break the earth and the spells around the king. He roared a bit and hoped that his mistress would snap out of it but it seemed that she was now deaf to all of the goings on around her and he was not going to be able to do anything about it besides help her master and protect her himself.

Rey flew down and slapped earth creatures that the king away and firing more blasts of wind at the king of this castle in hopes that even if he doesn't hit that it will be able to knock the king off his game and help the other man to be able to clean him up or at least her to get some damage on them so this was not a waste but Carmina needed to get out of her head but he knows that she respected the man and he then scolded her right in front of the king of this place so he had hurt not only her confidence but also publicly scolded her for her thoughts and the way she was speaking so she was going to probably just be shut down for awhile unless she comes back to her senses soon than later.

Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon telling her to mine her tone wasn’t for her to become discouraged with the confidence that she was gaining. He wanted her to make sure that she didn’t underestimate anything and regret it later. If she took it any other way, then that was her own problem. He did not scold her in front of their opponent, this was done going down the stairs.

When he looked over to Carmina, he could see that she wasn’t doing anything. He was confused when he saw that she just stood there. And it pissed him off. He didn’t know what was going on with her, but he could see that the dragon that was Her’s was doing his best to make sure that nothing bad happened to her. Still, he wouldn’t be enough, Terraoxis noticed that one of them was just standing there like a fool. He was annoyed with the dragon, but that wasn’t enough to stop him from attacking. He pushed forward causing the ground to quake and a pile of rocks headed toward Carmina.

Drakkon was upset with the snakes but angrier with her brittle mind.

“Snap out it of Mina. What’s wrong with you? Your confidence just disappeared because of what I said earlier? All I said was mind your tone and don’t be so cocky. Never underestimate your opponent.” He said to her as he got close to the woman.

He pressed her on him, and he stomped his foot on the ground. This caused fire to erupt on the ground around him and it would shoot up in the air and around him. The rocks that were going toward them would meet the fire and would be destroyed instantly. The snakes that were heading toward him somehow dispersed as well. When the fire was gone, Drakkon stepped away from Carmina, and that was when he sensed the danger. Terraxois was behind him, and he turned around to see the huge titan.

He was ready to swing, and Drakkon was ready to block. The Dragon Slayer did just that but was hit by another attack and was sent flying away from the area where Carmina was. He hit a wall and destroyed it as he was not away from Carmina. The devourer was annoyed now, and she had better snap out of it. This was the only time he would save her from an attack, she needed to be able to hold her own and become stronger. This right here wasn’t what he needed her to do.

Drakkon fell to the ground and slowly got up from the fall and he cracked his neck. That hurt, but his defense magic spell had protected him from the attack. Terraxois was now alone with Carmina and was angry and pissed. He was ready to take her out as they did with his wife.

“I will kill this one just like you killed my wife.” He said these words as he was readying another strike toward Carmina.

Carmina
Carmina was still stuck in her thoughts as she was fighting with the feelings of disappointing her master as well as being told that she should watch her tongue when she was just trying to provoke the "king" She thought that was a good idea so she could try to get the man to make mistakes by him being insulted and to act rashly but her master had told her off and now she was not sure about what she was doing or what she could do about it. As the man man knocked Drakkon away from her she didn't even flinch as the lights were on but she wasn't home in her mind she was racking her brain and trying to figure something out to do and make it better but she couldn't it was all routes that just seemed to end in dead ends that she gets tossed aside like a lost child to the darkness like she was scared of.

When the man went to attack her, her body seemed to react on it's own like it was muscle memory, and blasted the man with bursts of wind element magic and then she moved closer to the monster her staff being shoved forward into what is around the chest of the "king" with a wind magic spell that would send him back the wind around Carmina seeming to pulse with her anger and the storm of frustrations that were inside of her and that was an odd sight as Carmina looked toward the man and she spoke. "I will break you apart and show you why you don't threaten a maiden while she and her heart is in turmoil!!!!" Her voice seeming to send out a burst of weaker wind at the monster that was more near the middle of the room now from her knocking him back from her.

Rey wondered if Carmina was okay but it more seemed like she was working through something. She was moving now so Rey really couldn't waste energy worrying about her but this was just the start of what might be a long combat and Rey hoped that Drakkon will be unharmed but from how hard the man was knocked away when he guarded Carmina and the damage to the wall Rey had little thought in his mind that Drakkon had to have felt that one. Rey started to release more water and wind bursts at the King as clearly the man was made of tougher stuff so it was going to take more to weigh in against him and that was something that Rey was not sure he still had the mana left to get done but he was going to do his best to try.

Carmina tapped the end of the staff in her hand on the ground and spirals of wind raced forward toward the kind and she looked like she was beyond pissed off and she looked like she was out for blood and she was not gong to relax her grip or her spells for a bit as a wind spell wrapped around her as a burst of stone tried to impact her she was not going to step down or give in to fear of this thing she wanted to make it hurt.

Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon shook his head as he got up from that hit. He was angry and he looked over to Carmina to see that she had done something. That was good, it was annoying that she had acted that way, but there was always room for growth. He cracked his neck as he looked at his pupil attack Terraoxis, and she shouted at him soon after. He had a smirk on his face. That was good to bring her back to life and let the fighting begin. He wondered what the monster would do next. He had attempted to take her out while she was out, but that didn’t happen.

“You had your chance dumb ass. You could have taken her out, but you didn’t.” He spat out blood from his mouth as he flapped his wings.

The Devourer was now in the air and he was ready to continue this bout. He watched as the two he had brought with him in all of this were throwing everything that they could. That was good, as he also moved forward. The mountain Yokai didn’t like everything that was going on, and with the girl sending him all the attacks with her little dragon it was annoying. It wasn’t just that, but the danger that was coming from next to him had brought him to have to defend himself.

Terraoxis had covered himself with pillars of rocks that had placed them together like a puzzle piece and protected him from all directions. On top of that even though he was covered he could still see where they were located. Drakkon had slashed at the rock and when he felt the impact between the two, he decided to bring forth more firepower. Dark energy would be flowing down below on the ground, and one of the summonings he had obtained from Ryuko would come forth. The woman that came out looked over to Drakkon attacking the walls, and she knew then what to do.

“Why are we destroying this wall?” She asked him.

Drakkon had a smirk as he released a slash from his magic and his katanas. That was enough to be able to destroy the wall that was in front of them. This would allow the Witch to see what they were facing. He looked at her and saw another woman who had joined the fight.

“Another one? It seems like you like to have them around a lot. Well begone.” He said as he tried to step on here.

The Witch was quick on her feet and she rushed out of the way and she punched the damn Yokai on the leg. Drakkon had a smirk on his face as he was going to have to try and do better than that. It was then that Drakkon had gotten close to him as he figured that Carmina was also on the offense. He would slash the man’s shoulder, and he would do quite some damage to him. He would look over to Drakkon and he would launch a barrage of rock spikes at the Dragon Slayer.

The Mountain’s Rage [Carmina] Empty Thu Nov 21, 2024 3:16 pm

Carmina
Carmina was clearly unhappy and wind magic whirled around her and when the yokai threw his attack at Drakkon Carmina swung her staff and a wall of wind magic flew up in front of Drakkon and blocked the earthen spikes that were heading for the man and she smirked a bit and she then refocused her rage back at the yokai as she waved her staff and released more bursts of wind magic as she was not going to back down she was extremely annoyed and displeased with herself as now she felt that she needed to crush the monster that was in front of her the size of this thing not even scaring her a bit as she was not going to back down and she was going to cut through him with the wind element added to spells that her master had given her and she would need to make the most of it as she was not one to back down now as she could just walk away and leave her master to his fate.

Rey couldn't take the time to really keep an eye on Carmina as he was flying around and firing off more bursts of wind at the earthen monster that was fighting them and he was trying to make sure that he didn't eat a spike of earth even if he might be able to recover he still didn't want to make his mistress look bad and he was using as mana that he could to make as many strong blasts of wind as he can to make sure that he gets some cracks in the yokai's armor and himself as he was mostly trying to set it up so her master and his mistress can take this monster down even if he was starting to feel weak from the amount of mana that he was using and that was all that he could do here was hope that he could get that little bit down for her.

Carmina sees how hard her companion Rey is working for her and she is not sure what she has done to really have earned that from him but she was going to make the most of what she can do and what all she could give. The wind magic she was throwing was growing stronger and hitting harder and she pushed herself closer to the yokai and she went as close as she could and then channeled a binding spell that was turned to wind element so she could make sure that it held the man so that her master could get a free shot on the monster that was in front of her and the others. "Drakkon make your attack quick and true so we can get out of here and as I have no idea if that is even going to be able to hold him long as this is a long shot." Carmina was clearly focusing and she trusted that her master could end this and they leave here and go and give the all clear.

The Mountain’s Rage [Carmina] Empty Fri Nov 22, 2024 7:12 am

Go D. Drakkon
Drakkon had seen that she was doing a lot to make sure that this guy was being taken down. He was glad to see this and he hoped that they would be able to take this monster out. He had noticed that the Witch of Caelum was quick on her feet. He watched her run through the area they were in, avoiding Terraoxis attack as he had focused on him. he was annoyed, and even though the damage that Carmina and Rey were doing was great, he wanted to make sure that Drakkon was dead.

The Dragon Slayer watched him aiming for him specifically and shook his head. With their attacks and him being a decoy, he could see that the Yokai was stumbling from the damage. He roared and was angry. They were attacking from all fronts and they wouldn’t stop. He had launched a barrage of pillars around the entire area, but the Devourer had done something. He wasn’t going to allow him to do whatever he wanted. No, instead, he would use his wings and flap them to create his spell. This had canceled his spell leaving him unguarded for the time being.

He had swung both his katanas at Terraxois and the Witch had attacked him as well. With the help of Carmina and Rey, he had done a lot, and he was able to penetrate the defense that was in front of him. The Son of Chaos had cut right through Terraoxis. The Yokai’s eyes widened when he felt the pain and he looked over to the group of ruffians that had appeared before him.

“How dare you guys do all of this. You ruined my plans for Joya's future. You think you could get away unscathed. My death means that this house will be destroyed and you will be buried with it. Enjoy trying to escape this place.” He said as he tried to grab Drakkon, but his body crumbled and dispersed from the area.

Drakkon could feel the shaking on the ground and he shook his head at the disappointment. They had to go, and that was fine. He was not worried about this falling on him at all. Instead, he walked over to Carmina, and the Witch walked to the both of them. He looked over to her and had a smile on his face.

“Thank you for your help. That was a good distraction if I say so myself.” He said to her.

“It was my pleasure my liege.” She said this as she bow to him.

Drakkon heard this and he dispersed his magic as he needed all of it so they could leave this place.

“Alright let’s go tell the villagers they have nothing to worry about and get paid.” He said to Carmina.

It was then he had cut through the space in front of him. When he did that, he would wait for Carmina and Rey to go in first before entering and closing it. When he stepped out from the other side he would be in the village as the old man was waiting for them at the entrance of the village. They had appeared and the village felt the shaking of the mountain, so they figured they had won if they were here.

“You don’t have to worry about those creatures from doing anything to the village. We dealt with them.” He said to him as he explained a bit more of what was up there.

The man would pay them both and then he would let them be on their way to continue on their journey.

Carmina
Carmina was surprised by the witch being so nimble that she could react with her master so seamlessly and Carmina was glad that was over before she felt the shaking and the yokai's last words toward them that sounded so steeped in hatred and like it was his dream that was just crushed by these two and their companions and summon and she needed to stop herself from laughing at this monsters pained good bye to the world and she looked at Rey who had flown over and protected her from the crumbling parts of the monster that they had helped to slay here in this dark underground area that seemed to be more like where this monster wanted them to rest forever and that was something that Carmina wasn't going to do and she put up a barrier of wind to stop the parts of the roof that had started to fall before her master had gotten to her and she wondered if her master was going to use his sword that kind of worked like how she had seen Kaito disappear in her visions of the eye that she saw when she saw Kaito.

When her master made the pathway for them she went through with Rey who as soon as they got to the other side flew straight up into the air so he wasn't crowding the villages streets and looked around at the people below him who looked a bit scared by seeing Rey then seemed to relax as soon as Carmina and her master came through the portal and into the village and Carmina looked around so she could return the staff as she was sure that there was something to it but she knew the staff wasn't her's rightfully and the villager seemed to smile at her honest attempt to return the staff to them and it was pushed back to her as she should keep it as it had seemed to serve her well and the shaking was still going on and Carmina let out a sigh and dropped back onto the ground her head aching from all the spells she was constantly flipping through in her mind and trying to make sense of the ways they worked and how she could change them in element.

She looked up at the sky and she wondered if it was night or morning as it seemed dark out and she was not sure if that was just her head ache dimming her sight a bit or if they had been fighting that short of a time or that long of a time all she knew was she was tired and that she needed to get herself sorted as she was not going to be able to do much if she couldn't handle this amount of strain on herself and she would need to make sure that she rested more and maybe got some food and drink.
