Players cannot use any magic or extra equipment as a means to use item spells not on a lightsaber, but they may treat their gear as health points, spells attached to a lightsaber weapon are fine during these fights to complete the stakes condition. This is for the sake of extra protection; not added powers such as invisibility, sensory, etc. Fights need to be entertaining— players are encouraged to talk during combat, they cannot be one-shot K.O.ed. After purchasing a Lightsaber, DM me and I will add you into this list. ——————— Background: WIP Erebus is hunting a special ore across Earthland called a Focus Crystal. Lightsaber crystals in other words, were a variety of crystals, gems, stones, or other objects that were used as the energy source of a lightsaber. At the heart of every lightsaber was a single crystal that resonated to produce the efficient, powerful blade. For the Jedi, this blade acts as extension of the Force. Hidden in temples dedicated to Illumin, players can find these crystals, however— to rob a holy place and obtain them will cast scorn on the player. Causing the Rune Knights to investigate; to supersede this and limit the hunt on himself, Erebus has taken the crystals that he can find and made spare Lightsabers to flood the market with stolen crystals, distributing them to the top black-market agents so that they may find way into the hands of others. Thus, cutting the chase on Erebus by more than a half; while the other lightsaber duelists carry stolen crystals and try to put the story together one duel at a time. In the meantime, Erebus is using his resources to collect as many crystals as he can, with few crystals to be left on Earthland, Erebus is directing his attention towards space. Where he will hope to use these crystals to build up the ultimate weapon and threaten all of Earthland. |
