Kishin stood outside the sealed cavern, studying the runes etched into the stone entrance. He had heard the rumors of an ancient metal within, capable of forging powerful weapons and armor. As a skilled blacksmith himself thanks to helping the client before, the idea of discovering such a valuable resource was certainly tempting. For another story for another day, it'd be nice if Kishin could use any powerful resource. But something about the way the Rune Knights had sealed off the cavern made him uneasy. He couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to this cavern than just a simple metal deposit.

He glanced around at the small crowd of onlookers that had gathered, their faces reflecting a mix of curiosity and fear. Kishin couldn't help but wonder what exactly was hidden inside the cavern, and if it was worth the potential danger. He had heard stories of treacherous creatures and ancient curses associated with hidden caverns such as this one. Was it worth risking his life to discover this metal? He wasn't sure.

He thought about Barras Berend, the kind-hearted smith who had tasked him with this mission. Kishin knew that he was highly respected in Magnolia, and had even caught the eye of the lord with his skills. But despite his stable income, he still got help from people like Kishin. Kishin knew that Barras had a good heart and he did not want to disappoint him. But at the same time, he didn't want to put his own life in danger for something that may not even exist.

As he pondered over the matter, Kishin couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Still no magical weapons, and the thought of venturing into a sealed cavern filled with unknown dangers made him antsy. He didn't possess the skills or knowledge to deal with any potential magical obstacles that may lay ahead. He couldn't help but think that it was not his place to take on this task, but he also didn't want to disappoint Barras.

Kishin took a deep breath, running his hand over the rough stone of the cavern entrance. He knew that he was an overtly serious person, and that he needed to weigh things carefully before making a decision. He needed to consider every avenue for profit, as well as the potential benefits of discovering this ancient metal. He couldn't help but feel a sense of uncertainty as he stood there, unsure of whether or not he should help Barras with this task.

Kishin knew that he had a simple decision to make, which he should take more lightly. He still would need to gather more information, talk to experts and possibly even consult with the Rune Knights to decide if this was a task worth undertaking. He couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation as he stared at the sealed cavern, knowing that whatever lay within could change his life forever. After a long while of contemplating, Kishin came to a decision.

Kishin had listened intently as Barras explained the rumors surrounding the cavern and the potential for a rare metal within. The idea of discovering such a valuable resource was certainly tempting, but dirtiness could be annoying too. Nevertheless, the prospect of being able to create weapons and armor stronger than anything made before was too good to pass up. It'd be nice to witness the process after Barras got practice at least. He agreed to take on the task and was offered payment for his services.

As he approached the cavern, he noticed the Rune Knights still blocking the entrance and the crowd of people gathered outside. He knew that he would have to sneak past the guards or wait until they were gone to enter the cavern. He decided to wait for the right opportunity and eventually, the Rune Knights and the crowd dispersed. Rocks don't age after all.

Once inside the cavern, Kishin was greeted by limited light, making it difficult to see. He knew that he would have to be mindful of his location and not venture too far away from the entrance. There was no magical powers to help sense anyway. He made his way through the cavern, searching for any trace of the blue glowing metal that Barras had described.

Kishin made his way through the cavern patiently, his eyes scanning the walls and floors for any sign of the rare metal that Barras had described. The limited light made it difficult to see, but he was determined to find it. He had always been fascinated by the art of blacksmithing. For some interesting clients like this, Kishin didn't mind taking more time.

As he ventured deeper into the cavern, he stumbled upon a larger area that was illuminated by a single pillar of light. The light was brighter here, and he was able to see better. He noticed that there was a large hole in the center of the room, which led to empty blackness. He knew that he would have to be careful not to fall in. Who knows how far he'd go without being able to fly.

Kishin carefully made his way around the hole and noticed that the pathway split into three options. He decided to explore each option, one by one. The first option was a short path that quickly led to a dead end without anything interesting. The second option was considerably longer, but it also led to a dead end. Kishin was disappointed but he didn't give up with his time investment, he returned to the central area, and decided to check the third option.

The third option was shorter than the others, but it appeared to be blocked off by rocks that required him to move them out of the way cautiously with his hands, otherwise, it may ruin everything. Kishin took his time, using his strength and experience as a laborer of many quests to carefully remove the rocks without causing any damage to the cavern. Once he had done so, he continued his exploration, finally coming to the end of the path where he found a small amount of the blue glowing metal that Barras had described. It was only a small amount, but it was enough to confirm that the metal did indeed exist within the cave.

Kishin felt a sense of excitement and accomplishment as he carefully collected a sample of the metal. He knew that this discovery would lead to the creation of powerful weapons and armor that would protect the people of Magnolia at least. He carefully made his way back out of the cave, avoiding the hole and making sure that he didn't get lost.

As he approached the entrance of the cavern, he saw the Rune Knights stationed there, blocking the way out. Kishin knew that he would have to be careful not to be seen as he sneaked past them. He waited for the right moment and then made his move, slipping past them undetected. Everything only took a matter of time. Once he was back in Magnolia, he immediately went to Barras to give him the information and show him the sample of the metal. Barras was overjoyed and thanked Kishin for his efforts. He rewarded him for his willingness to investigate and for discovering the rare metal.
